Lubrication of comb bearings using press oil.
The invention relates to the lubrication of comb bearings by means of press oil and consists in that the press oil is supplied either to every second rotating or to every second fixed comb and is diverted from every intermediate or from every intermediate fixed comb. In this way it is achieved that the lubricating oil cannot escape through the comb bearing in any other way than when it is passed between the friction surfaces under pressure, which was not the case with the previously known comb bearings.

through the channels cl, c, etc. provided in the bearing shell. It is assumed that the wave with its crests in the direction of the arrow drawn against the fixed crests bu. bus is pressed.
The oil flowing in through the channel c1, for example, is distributed into two branches, one of which lubricates the running surface between the circumferential lamb al and the fixed comb b. With help

The other part flows through the clearance between the circumferential ridge al and the fixed ridge bl, then along the shaft to the right and inevitably reaches the wing between the circumferential ridge o and the fixed ridge. The oil flow is also set out accordingly on this page. but lubrication grooves beginning inside the crest a2 c. d) Leave a short choke section on the outside of the ridge, relieved

Grooves fi in the fixed ridge b4 or the grooves fa in the fixed ridge bs is indicated.
The two execution prices shown in the drawing are to be understood as
Pieces that are cut out on comb bearings. The shape of the combs, the support shell and the grooves can be selected as desired.
