Handgriff zur Betätigung des Kükens ausser um die Achse des. Kükens noch um eine weitere, senkrecht dazu lie gende Achse veruchwenkbar zu machen, wo bei durch Verdrehung des Halmkükens um seine Achse die Hauptgaswege gesteuert werden;
Diese bekannten Ausführungen. sind je doch nicht in allen Fällen anwendbar und ausserdem haften ihnen verschiedene Mängel an. So macht es besonders bei Heizkesseln, deren Brenner sehr tief in der Nähe des Bo dens liegen, Schwierigkeiten, den Zündbren ner, selbst wenn er ausschwenkbar angeord net ist, zu erreichen. Anderseits haben die bekannten Überschlagrohre den grossen Nach teil;
Gleichzeitig wird da-bei das Überschlagrohr 215 unter der Wirkung einer Feder 42 wieder in seine Ruhelage ;
ges.chwenkt.
Flashover ignition device for gas-heated devices. In order to ignite gas-heated devices, the burners of which are enclosed in a burner space, separate pilot burners are often arranged, which are easily accessible.
The main burner is then ignited either by swiveling the pilot burner or via a climbing flame pipe or by means of a flashover pipe.
He is already familiar with such designs, inevitably with the twist, des. Hahnkükens to cause the pivoting of the pilot burning. On the other hand, it is also known that:
Handle to operate the chick except around the axis of the. Chick to make veruchwenkbar another, perpendicular to this lying axis, where the main gas paths are controlled by rotating the straw chick about its axis;
and by turning the handle around its second axis, ignition gas is released for a short time.
These known designs. However, they are not applicable in all cases and they also have various defects. It makes it difficult to reach the ignition burner, even if it can be swiveled out, particularly with boilers whose burners are located very close to the bottom. On the other hand, the well-known rollover tubes have the major disadvantage;
that they are arranged in the area of the ignited flame.
The invention relates to a rollover ignition device for gas-heated devices with a burner that is difficult to access and consists in the fact that one of the two parts that cooperate in the flashover ignition consists of. the gas discharge nozzle to be ignited and the gas collecting end of the rollover pipe are movably arranged,
so that it can be moved into the gas collecting position for the purpose of lighting and after the flashover ignition can be moved back into a rest position in which the gas collecting end of the flashover tube is outside the area of the ignited flame.
The invention can be implemented by pivoting the burner to be ignited into the gas catching position when igniting the fixed gas catching end of a rollover pipe and then moving it back into the working position after ignition, as well as turning it around swivel the lashing rail, kba.r arranges so that its gas collecting end can be moved into the gas collecting position when igniting, opposite a fixed gas discharge nozzle,
while mkn it can move back to its rest position, which is outside the area of the ignited flame, after the flashover has taken place. This latter embodiment of the invention is preferable because the rollover tube does not carry any gas under pressure, so that the connecting points of the mutually movable parts of a movable rollover tube do not have to be made gas-tight.
The movable part of the rollover ignition device is advantageously coupled with the handle of the ignition gas cock so that it is automatically brought into the required positions when the ignition device is operated. In order to prevent the ignited flame from being blown out by the deflagration occurring in the flashover tube, the flashover tube is advantageously provided at its catching end with an outlet opening approximately in the axis direction of the flashover tube.
while the collection opening is arranged laterally.
Based on the drawing, the subject invention will be described in detail below. An exemplary embodiment has been selected in which the burner to be ignited, namely the pilot burner of a Cas heating boiler, is permanently installed, while the flashover tube is rotatable against it.
Fig. 1 shows the arrangement of the Zündvor direction on the front of a heating boiler.
Fig. 2 is a side view of the top of the rollover tube; F'ig.3 is a section through the cock along line III-III of FIG. 1 on a larger scale; Fig. 4 shows: a section through the pilot burner and the collecting end of the impact pipe on the line IV-IV of FIG.
The gas feed to the tap 11, to which the main burner 12 is connected by means of the line 13 and the pilot burner 14 by means of the ignition gas line 15 and the ignition gas line 16 is connected from the rear through the line 10. A lever 17, which is guided in the intersecting slots 18, 19 and 20 of a guide plate 21, is used to actuate the cock plug.
In the guide plate an ignition opening 22 is provided, to which a small pipe section 2-3 connects to the rear, from which a rollover pipe 25 rotatable in bearings 24 leads down to the area of the pilot burner 14. At its lower end the overflow tube 25 is provided with two openings, namely an exhaust opening 26 and a collecting opening 28 provided on a laterally branched pipe socket 27. In FIG. 1, the overflow tube 25 is shown in the ignition position.
The collecting opening 28 is then so. that it catches the gas flowing out of the pilot burner 14. The rest position of the rollover tube is indicated dashed lines.
The device works in the following way: In the "off" position, in which all gas paths are blocked, the shift lever 17 is at the lower end of the vertical slot 18 of the guide plate 21 at. To prepare the ignition and ignition position, the switch lever in the slot 18 is swung upwards. until it hits the upper edge of the horizontal slot 19. The plug 29 is rotated so far that the secondary gas pipe 30 in the stem plug with a groove 31 in the tap housing comes to cover.
The ignition gas can now flow through a bore 32 into the ignition gas line 16 leading to the ignition burner 14, which, however, is kept closed by an ignition-securing valve 34 connected to a thermostat disk 33 as long as the thermostat disk is cold. To ignite the lever 17 is then pivoted in the horizontal slot 19 to the right ge.
During this movement, a control cam 35 (FIG. 3) on the switching lever pushes against a shoulder 36 on the rollover tube 25 and swivels this tube so that its collecting opening 28 in front of the nozzle 3.7 of the pilot burner 14 occurs. At the same time, the lever arm 3S of the switching lever 17 presses against the valve rod 39 of an ignition gas valve 40 and releases the ignition gas through the gas path 41,
which flows out freely through the ignition gas line 15, bypassing the thermostatic valve 34 at the nozzle 37 of the ignition burner 14. The ignition gas flowing out is caught by the ignition opening 2.8 of the flashover tube 25 . The gas rises in the flashover tube and can now be ignited at the ignition opening 22, whereupon the flame in the flashover tube flashes back and ignites the pilot burner.
The resulting explosion wave fizzles through: the exhaust opening 26 of the rollover pipe. Since the exhaust port 2.6 is to the side of the pilot burner 14, the pilot flame is not disturbed by the exhaust.
After igniting the pilot burner, the thermostatic disk 33 of the pilot burner heats up, opens the ignition-securing valve 34 and lets the ignition gas flow out, which ignites at the pilot flame and now forms the permanently burning pilot flame for the main burner. The ignition gas can now be shut off again. This is done by turning the switching lever 17 back in the horizontal slot 19.
At the same time, the rollover tube 215 returns to its rest position under the action of a spring 42;
swiveled. If the switching lever 17 is now pivoted up to the stop in the vertical slot 20, which is offset slightly to the right relative to the slot 18, the valve plug opens the outlet 43, 44 for the main gas and the main burner 12 ignites on pilot burner 14.
If an unsecured pilot burner is used instead of the thermostatically secured pilot burner, the pilot gas flows out of the pilot burner after the first switching movement. By the second switching movement, from the left to the right stop in the horizontal slot 19 of the guide disc, only the rollover tube is then pivoted while the actuation of an ignition gas valve falls ent.
In the case of using an unsecured pilot burner, the switch without ignition gas valve 40 and the switch lever without the extension 3.8 leads out.
In the implementation of the inventive idea mentioned at the beginning, which consists in the fact that the rollover pipe is not rotatable, but rather fixed while the pilot burner is pivoted, the pilot burner is pivoted out to light the pilot burner so that the gas flowing out of it the ignition opening of the flashover tube arrives.
After the ignition of the pilot burner by the flame flashing back to the pilot burner in the flashover tube, the pilot burner is then turned back into the position in which it ignites the main burner. In the same way as described above, it is possible to couple the movement of the pilot burner with the tap handle and, if a secured pilot burner is used, to release gas at the same time as this movement.
