Les fi-. I à 9 montrent des formes d'exé- cfion dans lesquelles le levier de commande est monté sur un ressort travaillant à. la flexion-, La fi-. 10 montre une forme d'exécution dans laquelle le levier de emmande est monté sur un ressort de torsion; Les fi-. 11. à 15 montrent des formes d'exécution à levier articulé; Les fig. 16 et 17 représentent des formes d'exécution dont le levier de commande est monté sur une membrane élastique;
Self-closing dispensing container. The invention relates to a self-closing dispensing container, characterized in that it has an outlet orifice and a valve controlled by a lever to close this orifice and; adjust the flow. This container could contain, for example, granular, pulverulent or liquid materials for household use.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, different embodiments of the invention.
The fi-. I to 9 show embodiments in which the control lever is mounted on a spring working at. flexion-, The fi-. 10 shows an embodiment in which the clutch lever is mounted on a torsion spring; The fi-. 11. to 15 show embodiments with articulated lever; Figs. 16 and 17 show embodiments in which the control lever is mounted on an elastic membrane;
Figs. 18 and 19 show an embodiment comprising a housing, a movable part of which acts as a lever; Figs. 20 and 21 show embodiments comprising a dosing device.
In fig. 1, the body of the container has the shape of a sprinkler 1, and is provided with a plug 2, having the outlet orifice 3 which is closed by a valve 4 having the shape of a ball, integral with the control lever. control 5, which, mounted on the flat bending spring 6, fixed on the plug 2, firmly holds the valve 4 on the port 3. The arm 7 of the control lever 5 extends to the bottom of the body 1 of the container, but it could also be shorter.
The operation of this dispensing container is very flexible, it suffices to bring the arm 7 of the lever of the body 1 of the container more or less closer to obtain the greater or lesser displacement of the ball 4 and thus the more or less opening. large of the orifice 3. The flexibility of the spring 6 allows the oscillation of the control lever 5, as well as its spring action maintains the valve in its closed position.
Fig. 2 shows a dispensing container in which the control lever 5 is mounted so as to be able to slide on the bending spring 6 constituted by a rod fixed to the stopper 3 of the body of the container. This rod 6 is provided with a stopper 8. A coil spring 9 threaded onto the rod 6 is disposed between this stopper 8 and the lever 5 which is held pressed against the spring 9 by the nut 10 screwing on the threaded end of the spring rod 6.
By screwing the nut 10 more or less, it is possible to adjust the position of the frustoconical valve 4, integral with the lever 5, so as to obtain a perfect sealing of the outlet orifice presented by the stopper 3.
In fig. 3, the container has a body 12 closed by the stopper 11, having an outlet orifice closed by the ball 13 fixed to a control lever 14, mounted on the spring 15. The stopper 11 is provided with a nozzle 16 to the end of which is the outlet orifice and which is surrounded by a drip collar 17 forming a crown-shaped bowl 18, which communicates with the inside of the body 12 of the receptacle through the hole 19. The nozzle 16 is cut at an angle from the side of the control lever 14, so as to. facilitate the release of the ball 13.
In fig. 4, the outlet orifice is presented by a capsule 20, provided with a nozzle 21, provided with a sealing washer 22 and fixed to the neck of the body 23 of the container by crimping part of its side wall. groove in a groove 24, made on the gou lot 23.
In fig. 5, the ball 25 directly closes the orifice of the neck 26. Of the body 30 of the container, while the spring 27, supporting the control lever 28, is fixed on a collar 29, which is fixed, removable or not, on the neck 26.
In fig. 6, the control lever is carried by a spring fixed to a metal collar 31. This collar is elastic so as to maintain itself in a groove 32 formed in the neck 33 of the body of the receptacle.
In fig. 7, the body of the container is closed by a stopper 34 having the outlet orifice and comprising a nozzle 35 surrounded by an elastic sealing piece 36 and penetrating into the neck of the body 37 of the container. To immobilize the stopper on the neck in the position most conducive to the proper functioning of the control lever 38, carrying the ball-valve 39, this stopper is provided with one or more screws 40 arranged around its periphery. Instead of screws, the stopper could include the elastic tabs 41 shown in dotted lines.
In fig. 8, the actuating end of the control lever 42 is disposed in a recess 43 formed in the wall of the body 44 of the container.
The container shown in FIG. 9 com carries a valve consisting of a ball 45, fixed on the control lever 47, which is mounted on a flat spring 48. The attachment end 46 of this spring is embedded in the glass of the bottle 49 constituting the body of the container.
In another embodiment, not shown in the drawing, comprising a glass container body, there is provided an attachment part embedded in the glass of the container body and on which is fixed by screwing, crimping, etc. , the spring or the articulated rod carrying the control lever.
Fig. 10 shows a container, the body of which has a nozzle 50 having the outlet orifice, the plane of which is inclined as shown in section in FIG. 9. This orifice is closed by a ball 51 fixed on a control lever 52, the latter is mounted on a spring 53, flat, for example, working in torsion. The fixing end of this res out is embedded in the wall of the body 54 of the container.
Fig. 11 shows a container in which the outlet orifice is closed by a ball 55, integral with the control lever 56 which rotates in a bore of a fixing arm. The lever 56 is bent so that its actuating part is offset relative to that carrying the ball and rotates in a plane located outside the bottle constituting the body of the container, so that the walls of the bottle cannot hinder the manipulation of the lever.
In fig. 12, the control lever 57, carrying the ball-valve 51, rotates on an axis 5 6, disposed perpendicular to the arm 58 fixed on a cap closing the body of the container. The valve ball 51 is kept tight on the orifice à. inclined plane of the nozzle presented by the plug using a spring not shown in the drawing.
In this embodiment, the lever could also be bent in order to present an actuating part offset with respect to that carrying the ball and rotating in a plane situated outside the body of the container which could also consist of a bottle.
Fig. 13 shows a container in which the control lever 59 rotates on an axis G (_). arranged in the extension of the fixing arm 61. The ball 62, integral with the lever -! 9, is held on the orifice with an inclined plane (the the nozzle 63 by a coil spring 64.
Fig. 14 shows the control lever 65 rotating on an axis disposed in the extension of the fixing arm 67 and provided with a counterweight 66,. Which maintains the ball for mant valve integral with this lever on the inclined plane orifice of the nozzle presented by the body of the container. In order for the ball to exert sufficient pressure even in the closed position, the counterweight will be. arranged so that its center of gravity and the ball are, even in the closed position, on the same side of a vertical plane, not by the hinge axis of the lever.
In addition, one can, in this form of execution, arrange for the moment of the counterweight relative to the axis is greater than that of the ball; in this case, to operate the container, it suffices to tilt it and the ball will automatically clear the orifice (the outlet under the influence of the counterweight.
The counterweight could also be applied with the axis of articulation of the lever disposed perpendicular to the fixing arm 67, as in the example of execution shown in FIG. 12. In this case, the counterweight can advantageously be constituted by a ring or a half-crown surrounding the receptacle or the neck.
Fig. 15 shows a control lever rotating in a bore arranged above the valve formed by the ball 68 integral with this lever. This bore is presented by the end of a curved arm. The lever could also rotate on an axis arranged above the ball 68. The whole is arranged so that the ball is held on the orifice of the nozzle by its own weight.
In fig. 16, the ball 69 closing off the orifice 7 0 of the nozzle presented by an iron plug mant the body 71 of the container is mounted on a control lever 72, disposed part inside, part outside the body 71 The lever 72 is bent and fixed on an elastic membrane 73 which it passes through, which ensures the pressure of the ball 69 on the orifice 70 in the closed position.
Fig. 17 shows an embodiment of the container having a body in the form of a powder or salt shaker 74 provided with a stopper 75 with an outlet orifice 76 closed by a valve 7, mounted on a rod 78 at the lower part of which is disposed a plate 79 subjected to the action of a spring 80.
An elbow lever 81, placed part inside the stopper 75 and part outside and passing through a flexible membrane 82 of the stopper allows, when it receives at its lower part a pressure towards the body 74 of the container, to trans put a vertical movement to the valve 7 7 by compressing the return spring 80.
The container shown in elevation in FIG. 18 and in plan in FIG. 19 comprises a container body 83, exhibiting at. its upper part, an outlet orifice 88 closed by a ball 84. The body 83 is placed inside a casing consisting of a fixed part 85 and a movable part 86.
The movable part 86, mounted on a flat spring 87, fixed to the body 83 of the container, constitutes the control lever of the ball 84. It suffices to bring the control lever 86 closer to the body of the container 83, to release the ball. 'orifice 88 by moving the ball 84. The lower part of the control lever 86 then penetrates into the fixed part 85, while its upper part emerges therefrom.
A sliding rod 89, arranged on the movable part 86, abuts on the lower wall of the fixed part 85, in order to secure the fixing of the movable part 86 in its closed position during transport. container or for any other reason.
Fig. 20 shows an embodiment of the container comprising a metering device. At the neck 90: of the body of the container constituted, for example, by a bottle, is removably attached a metering device 91 having an inlet opening communicating with the neck, and an outlet orifice. These two openings are closed by the valves 92, 93 interconnected by the rigid rod 94.
On this rod is a stop 95 on which acts a fork 96 presented by the end of the control lever 97, passing through the elastic membrane 98. The valves are controlled by the lever 97, 99. A spring of rap pel could be mounted.
In the case of the container shown at. fig. 20, the dispenser 91 is filled by inverting the bottle 90. To empty the dispenser, it suffices to press the lever 99. In the event that the valves are reversed, the dispenser would be filled, with the bottle inverted, in addition pulling on lever 99 and emptying it by hand holding the bottle upside down and no longer pressing on lever 99. The dispenser can be transparent and graduated or at visible level and graduated, -which allows it to be filled up to. a given level.
Fig. 21 shows a container. provided with a dispenser 100, mounted on the body of the container = Aient constituted by the bottle 101. The dispenser has the outlet orifice closed by a ball 103 and comprises a partition wall 106, provided with a central hole 10 \ 1, closed by the ball 102 and crossed by the rod 104 connecting the two balls and subjected to the action of a res sort 105.
The two balls are actuated simultaneously by a solid control lever of the ball 103.
The metering device fits onto the bottle 101 by two staves, namely: a stopper 100 'engaging in the neck and a sleeve 111 fitting onto two shoulders 112, 113 provided for this purpose on the neck.
To fill the dispenser, which can act as a pourer or a drip tip, just invert the dispensing container. To empty the metering unit, it is necessary to press the control lever and the opening in the wall will be closed by the ball 102, while the ball 103 opens the outlet orifice.
