Kolbenmaschine, insbesondere Brennkraftmasehine.

Piston engine, in particular internal combustion engine. The invention relates to a piston machine, in particular an internal combustion engine, with a cylinder cover enclosing the piston like a hood in the cover-side dead center position, and consists.
that a jacket part adjoins a double-walled bottom of the cylinder cover, which extends approximately over a length corresponding to the length of the piston ring carrying part of the piston.
In known machines soot to see or. Replace: the piston rings of the pistons, detached from the engine.
This loosening is not only time-consuming, but the loosened connections must be made again, adjusted with the correct play and secured.
it may be necessary to let the piston run in again. The piston rings are expediently arranged in a detachable end part of the piston and extends to the double-walled cover base
ID = "0001.0063"> Send shell part up to the parting line: of the piston end part carrying the piston rings. At. Pistons with fastening means accessible from the outside can after removal of the cylinder cover the fastening means of the detachable piston end part in
.the cover-side dead center position of the piston be accessible. The parting line between the cylinder cap and the cylinder can be designed to be undulating at least on the inside of the cylinder.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the invention is shown schematically.
The figure shows a longitudinal section through the upper part of the working cylinder of a vertical, single-acting brenu power machine. a The internal combustion cylinder has a new jacket 1,
which is connected to the frame or forms a piece thereof. In the jacket 1 sits the liner 2, in which the Kol ben 3 works. The cylinder is finished off the floor-the cover 4,
which is fastened to the jacket 1 by means of the pressing joint 5 and the screws 7. The cylinder cover 4 is hood-shaped and the hood edge 8 extends down so far that after removing this cover 4 the piston rings 1 provided on the side of the combustion chamber 9:
0, in the drawn, upper dead center position of the piston 3 are exposed. It is assumed that the cover 4 is made of cast steel, therefore the hood edge 8 is provided on the inside with an insert 12,
which is made of white cast iron or chrome steel, for example, and as a result has high wear resistance.
The flange 13 of the liner 2 rests on the shoulder 14 on the jacket 1, while the pressure ring 5 sits on the flange 15 of the cover 4, so that when the screws 7 are tightened, the outer centering edge 16 of the flange 1.5 is fixed. is pressed onto the flange 13 and: as a result, the cylinder space is sealed from the outside.
Since the running surface of the piston xinba, e 10, bit beyond the liner 2, extends into the cover 4, it is precise. Centering of the cover 4 to the liner 2 is provided. A groove 17 on the cover 4 is formed by the outer centering edge 16 and @ by the flange 18 on the insert 1'2i.
The spring 19 on the flange 13 with the centering edges 20 and 21 now engages in this groove 17. Since the centering edge 2i1 cooperates with the flange 18 of the insert 12, the centering of the insert 1'.2 to the liner 2,
secured. The end face 22 of the insert 12 and the opposite end face 23 of the liner.: 2 on: the inside! Of the extension 1'9 are wave-shaped in order to smoothly grind the separating joint 24, which: through the end faces 2192 and 23 is formed by:
the piston rings 10 to ensure. In addition to the centering between cover 4 and liner 21, a centering through the groove 40 and the set 41 between the pressure ring 5 and the jacket 1 is provided.
The pressure ring 5 with its upper, sleeve-shaped part 25 forms the outer wall of the cooling spaces 26 and 27 on the cylinder cover, which are connected on the right-hand side by means of the sleeve 28. The Sto @ pfbüehse 29 seals the water space 2,
7 after. outside. On the side of the flange 15, a rubber ring 30 is provided for sealing. The piston head 32 of the piston 3 is designed as a piece and can be detached by means of the screws 33 with the running part 34,
of the piston 3 connected. The crown nuts 35 of the screws 33 are located in milled recesses or a groove 8, 6 of the piston head 32 and are covered by the spring ring 3.7.
The wavy separation joint 214 between the. Cover 4 and the liner 2 are pulled down so far that "when the piston is in the upper dead point position when the cover 4 is removed, not only the piston ring 10 but also the ring .37 is exposed, so that:
after removing the cover 4 and the ring ä7: the nuts 35, can be loosened to build the piston head 32 from @ respectively. to replace.
Fier: the monitoring resp. the overhaul of the brake power cylinder is no longer necessary to remove the engine parts from the piston or from:
the crankshaft, but only the cover 4 can be lifted and then the piston 3 can be brought into the top dead center position by turning the crankshaft, so that one piston ring 10 after the other, as soon as it is lifted out of the liner 2, thoroughly . naehgeseh @ en,
can be cleaned and, if necessary, replaced. The piston crown is also easily accessible and the interior of the piston can. : can be made accessible by loosening the nuts' f.5 and this cover 38. But not only:
the Kol ben Äst BEZW in this way in the simplest way for the inspection. Overhaul accessible, if you keep the crankshaft as it is, the piston moves downwards, so that 'in: the crank-side dead center position: most of the:
the liner is exposed and accessible for inspection. Also the cooling compartments 26, and 27 of the: cylinder cover. 4 are in the simplest way to look up and to clean, because. all that needs to be done is the pressure ring 5 after loosening the stuffing box 29 stripped from the cylinder cover 4 to whoever.
In particular, the overhaul of pistons and piston rings is promoted. when the separating joint between the man tel 1 of the internal combustion cylinder and the pressure ring 5 is arranged approximately in the same plane as the separating joint 2, 4 between the cover 4 and the liner 2.
In a single-acting or double-acting machine executed according to the invention th not only results in an extraordinary gain in time, BEZW in the monitoring. Overhaul, as no engine parts have to be loosened and then reattached,
Instead, the required height above the internal combustion cylinder becomes smaller, firstly because the separating joint 24 between cover 4 and liner 2 is moved closer to the crankshaft and secondly because the liner 2 is at. has a ge lower height.
