F'ig. 1 ist eine Vorderansicht der ersten Ausführungsform, wobei die Vorderwand abgenommen ist; Fig.,2. ist eine Seitenansicht, teilweise im Schnitt der Ausführungsform nach Fig.1; Fig. 3 zeigt in kleinerem Massstab einen Grundriss dieser Ausführungsform, wobei ein Teil des Deckels abgebrochen. ist; Fig.4 ist eine Vorderansicht, bei abge nommener Vorderwand, der zweiten Ausfüh rungsform;
Air conditioning and ventilation application. The present invention relates to an air conditioning and ventilation device that forms a closed whole and can be transportable, and is used for the effective and economical conditioning of the air in closed spaces, such as. B. of offices, hotel rooms, hospitals, classrooms, living spaces, etc. is suitable.
The device according to the invention has cooling coils with coolant for cooling air for ventilation purposes, means which circulate fresh air through the device and let it escape as ventilation air into the room to be served by the device, and means for regulating the amount of fresh air drawn in and an amount of air, which is sucked in from the room to be operated by the device, and also means,
which pass an air stream over a condenser for the coolant intended for cooling the ventilation air, without this air stream mixing with the air intended for ventilation purposes.
Two embodiments of the subject of the invention are illustrated by the accompanying drawing.
F'ig. Fig. 1 is a front view of the first embodiment with the front wall removed; Fig., 2. Figure 3 is a side view, partly in section, of the embodiment of Figure 1; 3 shows, on a smaller scale, a floor plan of this embodiment, with part of the cover broken off. is; Fig.4 is a front view, with the front wall removed, the second Ausfüh approximately;
Fig. 5 is a side view of this embodiment partially in vertical section, and Fig. 6 is a .Schaltungschema for both embodiments, the same transfers in: the drawings denote the same parts.
In. 1 to 3, 10 denotes the housing enclosing the device, which has an air inlet grille 11 (FIGS. 2) in the upper part of its front wall and an air outlet grille 12 (FIG. 3) in its uppermost part. In the lower part of the housing 10 are arranged:
a condenser 13, a compressor 14, a motor 15 for driving the compressor 14 by means of the belt 1,6, and a fan 17 which is driven by the motor 15 and is used to guide air through the tubes of the condenser 13 . A vertical partition 18 extending over the entire length of the device divided, respectively, the upper part of the device into a front and a rear compartment 60. 6 1 . The rear compartment 6'1 serves as a passage for the air drawn in from the outside.
In the rear wall of the department 61, a nozzle 19 is used, which is used; to connect this department with a fresh air source; In the illustrated embodiment, this is a window opening 20 in the wall 21. The connector 19 is provided with outwardly inclined Auffangplat 22, which prevent rain water and the like. A vertical partition 2-3 placed transversely to the housing 10 Ge has in its lower part an opening in which the fan blade 17 rotates.
This partition 23 divides the device, as can be seen from FIG. 1, into a left and a right part, but the tile partition, as shown in FIG. 3, does not extend into the front part of the device containing the coolant coils.
The fresh air connection 19 is arranged in such a way that it is simultaneously connected to the left and right parts of the device. It has an intermediate wall 2'4 (Fig. 3) which forms an extension of the intermediate wall 23.
Inside the housing: 10 there is a vertical channel 25 (Fig. 3) which is close to its top. End openings 26 and 27 has. This channel 25 leads to a fan 28 air, -der is driven by a motor 29 mounted on supports 2-9a.
The fan 28 is a high pressure fan which sucks in fresh air through: the connection 19, the opening 26 and the duct 2, 5 from the outside, even if the pressure of the outside air is relatively low. From the closed space to be operated by the device, air reaches the fan .2i8, through, the inlet grille 11 and the opening! 27 in the duct 25.
By regulating the position of a swingable flap 30, which is at the same height as: the two openings .26, 27 in the channel 2.5, the fan 28 fresh air and room air can be supplied in any desired ratio. A housing 70, in which the motor 29 is accommodated, is arranged in such a way that the fan 28 cannot suck in air in any other way than through the duct 25.
The fan 28 drives the sucked in air into a space 31 located below the compartment 60, which extends almost over the entire length of the housing 10. This space 31 is provided with a number of nozzles 32 through which: the air from the. Space 31 exits at a relatively high speed, in order to achieve a relatively strong secondary circulation of the air sucked in through the inlet grille 11.
The nozzles 3: 2 consist of flat, narrow chambers,, which extend from the upper part of the space 31 upwards into the compartment 60 and: each of which has a number of air outlet openings 33 at its upper end. These outlet openings 33 of each nozzle 3; 2 are directed towards one another. At her upper; At the end, the nozzles 32 are inclined downwardly in relation to the front wall of the housing 10. The number of nozzles 32, which are attached along the space 31, can be arbitrary.
The air emerging from the nozzles 32 at high speed causes a relatively strong secondary circulation of the air which is sucked through the grille 11 from the space to be served by the device. This air flows over tube coils of the evaporator 34, which are located in the housing 10 just opposite the grid 11 and is thereby cooled and humidified ent.
Another part of the evaporator 34 is arranged within the room 3, 1, namely in the upper part of the same, so that on the one hand the primary fresh air coming from the fan 2 possibly mixed with room air, on the other hand the secondary room air sucked in through the grille 11 from each other refrigerated separately before mixing in section 60.
Coolant flows from the expansion valve 3, 5 through the rear part of the space 31, then through the cooling coils for cooling the sucked in air, through the front part of the space 31 and from there through the suction line 36 to the compressor 14.
If desired, the evaporator lengths can be arranged in such a way that they either only serve to cool the primary air coming from the fan or only to cool the secondary air sucked in through the grille 11, instead of cooling both the primary and secondary air .
In the lower part of the room 8'1 there are soundproofing plates (not shown) which prevent the noises of the fan 2, 8 from reaching the room served by the device.
The mixture of primary and secondary air is fed to this space through the outlet grille 18. If desired, guide vanes which are slightly inclined towards the front wall of the housing can be arranged in compartment 160, which control the air mixture flowing to the outlet grille 12.
From the foregoing it can be seen that the device has two fans, a high pressure fan 218 and a low pressure fan 17. The high pressure fan provides adequate circulation of the fresh air coming into contact with the cooling coils, the device and the air of the room served by the device and supplies the latter with fresh air in the desired constant amount,
regardless of differences between internal and external Laf @ pressure. The low-pressure fan 17, on the other hand, has the effect that fresh air circulates through the compressor 14, the condenser 13 and the sub-cooler 39 of the device.
The coolant that has been compressed in the compressor 14 is liquefied in the condenser 13 by fresh air that is sucked in by the fan 17 and passed through the capacitor 13. This fresh air, which enters the device through the section 37a of the connector 19, exits again into the atmosphere through the department 87b of the connector 19.
As already mentioned, this air also absorbs heat from the compressor 14 and its drive motor 15. The coolant liquefied in the condenser 13 is fed to the liquid container 38 and flows from there to the subcooling coil 39, which is arranged in a pan 40 in the lower part of the housing 10. The subcooling coil 39 has such a total length that it presents a relatively large heat exchange surface.
The coolant flowing from the container 3, 8 to the subcooler 39 is passed through several windings 41a of the cooling pipe coil of the subcooler, which is swept by the fresh air flow sucked in by the fan 17.
In addition, however, subcooling by means of water is provided by water that is condensed from the sucked in air and water that has separated from the air in space 31 in contact with cooling coils 34 and collects through the condensate line 41:
the pan 40 is fed, in which the sub-cooler 39 is arranged, so that it is flushed with the condensate. The coolant in the sub-cooler 3.9 is thus cooled on the one hand by the action of the air coming from the fan 17 and on the other hand by the candy fed to the pan 40.
This supercooling of the liquid Kühlmit means by evaporation is a simple and yet very effective means of using the moisture precipitated by the cooling coils of the device, which means that the need for the use of flues and the like falls away, which reduces the mobility of the device would affect. At the same time, the efficiency of the facility is also increased.
If more moisture is hit by the cooling coils of the device than is evaporated during the subcooling process, the liquid level rises in the pan 40. To prevent the condensate from overflowing and to increase the efficiency of the device even more, is on the shaft of the Ventila sector 17, a distribution member 42 is attached. This distribution member 422 is preferably composed of a wire ring, which is connected by spokes that are connected to the fan shaft.
is set in rotation. If the liquid level in the pan 40 rises above a predetermined height, the distribution element 42 takes water with it and hurls it against the surface of the condenser 1.3.
The water distributed in this way is then evaporated on the condenser walls and is used to cool them. The evaporated condensate is discharged into the open air with the fresh air leaving the device through the outlet section 37b of the connector 19.
The air outlet grille 12, which is located in the uppermost part of the device, allows the conditioned air to exit towards the front, the housing 10 and at the same time upwards at a small angle to the vertical. Such an outlet guarantees an even distribution of the air in the room served by the device and does not generate any currents and drafts that could be uncomfortably noticeable for the people present in the room.
It has been found that in practice an angle of about 20 'to the vertical results in a uniform and very satisfactory air distribution. In order to ensure noiseless operation of the device, the housing 10 is clad with sound-absorbing material.
The room 31 is lined similarly and, as already mentioned, provided in its lower part with sound-absorbing panels. The motor 15 and the compressor 14 are also supported against the housing 10 by elastic vibration dampers 43.
In order to divert the fresh air entering through the inlet compartment 317a of the connector 19 into the lower part of the device, guide plates 44 are arranged and other guide plates (not shown) can serve to reduce the fresh air which has passed over the condenser 13.
to steer upwards to the exit section 7b of the connection 19.
That housing 10 has a removable cover 45. By lifting the cover, the flap 30 and a holder box 46 are accessible, which is attached to a carrier 47, in the upper part of the division 61 from the device. The switch box 46 contains a switch 48 for controlling the fan motor 29 and a switch 49 which is used to simultaneously control the Ven, fan motor 29 and the compressor motor 15, which are connected in parallel to one another.
By closing the switch 48, the motor 29 can be put into operation, even when the compressor motor 15 is at a standstill, so that the ventilation and air circulation can also be effected at times when. conditioning of the air is not desired. A thermal switch 50 against overload is switched into the circuit of the compressor motor 15.
In the embodiment according to: FIGS. 4 and 5, a water-cooled condenser is used instead of the air-cooled condenser.
This embodiment has a double rotary condenser in which the coolant circulates in the inner tube and is liquefied by water that is passed through the cooling water jacket, i.e. H.
flows through the outer pipe. In this embodiment, the device sucks the low-pressure ventilator 1'1a no atmospheric outside air into the housing 10, but it effects room air circulation in a closed circuit via the compressor, its drive motor and,
the capacitor. In this way, the heat generated by the compressor and its drive motor is transferred to the water.
With regard to the supply of fresh air to the room served by the device, the suction of air from this room by the fan 28 and the nozzles described above, the delivery of conditioned air to the room mentioned and the cooling of this Air supplied to the room,
the mode of operation of both designs is identical. In the Ausfüh approximate example, according to FIGS. 4 and 5, however, as already mentioned, no outside air is sucked into the device for condensation purposes.
As a result, the fresh air connection 19a, which supplies fresh air to the channel 215 and the fan 28, is significantly smaller in cross section than the connection 19 in FIGS. 1 to 3. In the device according to FIGS. 4 and 5, the coolant is in a double tube condenser 51 liquefied.
In this condenser, the coolant circulates in the inner tube and water flows through the outer tube, which forms a jacket for the inner tube.
This water is fed to the condenser 51 through line 52; it enters the jacket surrounding the coolant tube at 53 at the top of the condenser. Gaseous coolant is fed at 53a to the lower end of the condenser and circulates in countercurrent to the water in the jacket surrounding it.
The liquefied coolant passes from the condenser 51 through the line 54 into the container 318 and the water leaving the condenser passes through the water jacket and the line 55 exits.
The water flow flowing through the condenser is regulated by a valve 5-6, specifically in accordance with the pressure changes in the container 38, which are transmitted to the valve through the monitoring line 56a.
Moisture precipitated by the cooling coils of the device is discharged through line 5 7 from the device for any use.
The ventilator 17 a, driven by the motor 15, causes air to circulate in a closed circuit within the housing 10, the air passing over the compressor 14, the motor 15 and the capacitor 51. The heat given off by the compressor and the motor is absorbed by the condenser water.
If desired, the device can also be equipped with heating coils which are provided by some heat source, e.g. B. electrically heated, provided so that it is ver usable all year round for air conditioning. The heating coils mentioned are preferably arranged in such a way that they only heat the secondary air sucked in through the grille 11.
However, the primary air coming from the fan 28 can also be heated. In winter, a facility of the type described has the advantage
that when the device is not in operation, cold outside air cannot flow into the room to be served by the device, since such air would have to flow through the small openings of the nozzles 32.
The device described forms a closed whole and can be brought to the desired location in a relatively short time and with little effort.
This can be done by placing the housing with its rear wall against an open window and then connecting the device to a source of electrical energy.
The facility can easily be moved from one room to another without a great deal of work, without the owner incurring additional expenses worth mentioning. The device can be provided with castors: so that it can be easily moved from one place to another.
This easy mobility makes the device particularly advantageous for operation to order, I h. in such places as B. Hotels where travelers are to be provided for or the wishes of tenants who only stay for a short time are met who must.
The evaporation of condensation water described increases not only the mobility of the device, but also its efficiency through the supercooling of the liquefied coolant caused by this evaporation.
