Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, quatre formes d'exécution del'é- crou selon l'invention. La fig. 1 est une vue en plan de l'ébau che du corps de la première forme d'exécu tion de l'écrou; la fig. 2 est une vue en perspective de cet écrou, avec partie arrachée; la fig. 3 est une coupe axiale verticale de la seconde forme de l'écrou; la fig. 4 est une vue analogue de la troi sième forme de l'écrou;
Non-removable screen and process for its manufacture. The invention relates to an insertable nut of the type comprising a nut body in which is formed an axial cylindrical recess containing a part made of elastic material, for example of fiber,
having a bore having the same axis as the threaded bore of the nut and the diameter of which is less than the outside diameter of the screw on which the nut is screwed, so that, when the screw and the nut are screwed together, the threads of the screw enter the wall of the bore of the elastic part, which then opposes a relative rotational movement of the nut and the screw.
In the nut according to the invention, the piece of elastic material forms a revolving body and is clamped inside the recess, this piece being held in place by a part that is folded inwards - from the edge. free from the side wall of the recess.
The present invention further relates to a method of making such a lock nut. According to this process,
the elastic part is introduced into the cylindrical recess formed in the blank of the nut body and this part is frozen inside this recess by subjecting the side wall of the recess to a pressure so as to tighten the elastic part in the recess and to fold inwardly a part of the free edge of this side wall to hold this part in place.
The side wall .de the cylindrical recess of the body -de the nut could advantageously present internally one or more protrusions, obtained for example by pushing this wall inwards. The cylindrical recess could also accommodate several coaxial elastic parts, tightened against each other, the projection or projections of the wall, in the event that the latter has any, penetrating into these. rooms.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, four embodiments of the é- nut according to the invention. Fig. 1 is a plan view of the blank of the body of the first embodiment of the nut; fig. 2 is a perspective view of this nut, with part broken away; fig. 3 is a vertical axial section of the second form of the nut; fig. 4 is a similar view of the third form of the nut;
fig. 5 is a similar view of the fourth form of the nut, screwed onto a screw. Referring to fig. 1 and 2, it can be seen that this nut comprises a nut body 1 having an axial cylindrical recess, the side wall 2 of which has a projection 3 on the inside. In this recess are clamped two elastic cylindrical parts 4. These parts each have a bore. axial, the diameter of which is less than the external diameter of the screw on which the nut is screwed.
These bores have the same axis as the threaded bore of the nut and the two parts are clamped against each other and have prevented from turning, relative to the body 1 of the nut, by the projection 3 which penetrates into each of them. These parts are retained in the recess by the part 5 folded towards the interior of the free edge of the side wall 2 of the recess.
If desired, the projection (s) 3 can be formed afterwards. that the elastic pieces have been introduced into the blank -of the nut body by exerting pressure inwards on the side wall 2 of the nut.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 3 has only one elasti that cylindrical part 4 disposed in the cylindrical recess of the body 1. In this embodiment, the part 5 folded inwardly from the free edge of the side wall 2 -of the recess has a series of teeth 6, spaced apart or consecutive,
and directed towards the bottom of the recess. These teeth sink into the end face of the elastic part 4 when this part 5 is folded inwardly, thus preventing any rotational movement of the elastic part relative to the body 1 of the nut. In this form, of execution, the side wall \? could also have a protrusion internally as in the first form.
The embodiment of FIG. 4 has, like the first form, two elastic parts 4. The folded part 5 has key teeth 6 which are inserted into the adjacent elastic part and the bottom of the recess also has projections 7 in the form of teeth s 'pushing into the other elastic piece.
When the inner surface of the wall of the cylindrical recess coming into contact with the elastic part has one or more recesses, these: are preferably formed in the side wall of this recess, a part of the elastic part arranged in the recess being pressed into the said recess or recesses when the nut and a screw are screwed together, by expansion due to the introduction of the screw.
For example, as my tré in fig. 5, the side wall 2 -of the recess of the body 1 of the nut comprises a sieull reinforcement 8, a part of the elastic part 4 being pressed into this recess when the nut is screwed onto the screw 9.
The nut according to the invention can be beech, for example, an anchor nut.
