An jeder Ringfeder 6 bezw.
Process for the production of completely shrunk rayon in a direct process. When finishing rayon spun on bobbins in the so-called di rect process, d. H. By avoiding the reeling and the after-treatment in the strand, on the normal rigid spinning bobbin, an artificial silk is obtained that is uneven in terms of dyeability and elongation; This is due to the fact that the threads on the rigid bobbins cannot shrink out properly during the drying process and are more or less stretched depending on the position and consequently also have different dying properties.
It was now expected that by using spinning bobbins which are equipped with webs in the manner of reels, or in the form of cuffs or the same and allowing a relaxation of the art of silk winding, the disadvantages resulting from the use of rigid bobbins he give to fix.
But here, too, it turned out that the artificial silk still does not have the required uniformity. This unevenness has various causes depending on how the type of spinning organ is used.
On most relaxation spools, the wraps are extremely difficult to seal; the silk is jammed; the penetration of the treatment liquids through the winding is irregular, in places too much and in other places too little liquid penetrates through the layers of threads.
With many devices, especially with the receiving organs designed in the manner of cuffs, the relaxation of the winding is uneven; stretching occurs easily. With other devices, the thread layers are easily washed out; the threads are underwashed and get jammed, which results in extremely poor twisting and therefore stretching again.
The most difficult problem, however, is always the sealing of the openings in the coil body required for the movable relaxation parts, and to solve this problem a coil has been designed with rising edges on the sides, in which the movable relaxation webs through these inclined edges pass through and where by supporting the thread winding on these oblique Rän countries a seal through the thread winding itself is concerned.
Success seemed assured, but it turned out that here, too, difficulties arise again which do not yet allow the production of a perfectly even and shrunk artificial silk. These difficulties are based on the fact that it is not possible to wash the roll evenly when the bobbin is normally spun.
It has now been found that only the use of this relaxation coil provided with side edges in conjunction with a very special type of winding leads to success and allows the production of a uniformly shrunk silk that is uniform in terms of colorability and elongation.
The special type of wrapping is based on a continuously porous structure of the rayon wrap. This porous winding is built up by creating a so-called honeycomb winding, which is traversed by water-permeable channels from the inner part of the coil to the outer part. The porous honeycomb winding with the known increasing thread guide stroke must be wound onto spinning bobbins with adjustable cylinders and laterally, outwardly widening fixed edges.
This requires precisely constructed drive elements for the bobbin and thread guide and corresponding transmission gears, which are able to produce such a winding.
The relaxation coil required to carry out the method is shown in Fig.l and 4 in an exemplary embodiment, namely: Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of the coil, Fig. 2 is the associated end view and Fig. 3 and 4 various details. In Fig. 5, a wound relaxation coil is indicated, the upper half in section and the lower half in view. The jacket of the coil consists of a cylindrical part 1 and the two since union edges 2 and 3, which are stei ler inward and flatter outward. In the since union edges 2 and 3, evenly distributed radial slots 8 are provided immediately above the cylindrical part 1, in which longitudinal bars 4 are arranged.
The rods 4 protrude on both sides through the edges 2, 3 and are there, as shown in FIG. 3, milled at 5 is. The annular springs 6 and 7, which hold the rods 4 in the correct position and prevent them from axially falling out, are placed in these milled recesses on both sides.
At each ring spring 6 respectively. 7, a lock 9, 10, 11 according to Swiss Patent No. 174050 is attached, which keeps the associated spring locked and rigid as soon as the parts 9, 10, 11 are in the stretched position (see Fig. 2) , with the padlock open (see Fig. 4), but the spring releases so that it only presses slightly resiliently against the longitudinal rods 4. The take-up reel is then unlocked and the rayon roll on it can relax.
The jacket of the coil can possibly be perforated.
In Fig. 5, the channels are indicated by 1.3, which are formed by the winding. You can see from this that they run in the form of rays and expand outwards according to the side edges. This form of winding can only be achieved in such a way that one gradually gives the thread guide a greater movement,
which coincides with the distance between the two expanding edges. This increasing thread guide stroke causes the thread to be laid right up to the edges, even if the lap becomes thicker and the edges have a larger distance. With 14 in the same figure, the honeycomb formation of the rayon roll is shown in view.
Only through the combination of the honeycomb formation and the relaxation coil of the construction described is a surprisingly good artificial silk product achieved in the direct abbreviated process. This process not only ensures that the threads are easy to wash, but also that the threads are extremely gentle and, after the load-bearing rods have been loosened by relaxing the springs, the artificial silk thread shrinks unhindered, which means that the silk can be stretched evenly and the silk is evenly dyed.
It can be used both in the manufacture of the usual, normal, non-stretched rayon, as well as in the manufacture of stretched rayon that is spun with the aid of stretching devices and wound onto the bobbin in the tensioned state.
Depending on the type and density of the porous winding, the artificial silk winding can be relaxed before or after the aftertreatment that has to be carried out on the bobbin. The relaxation can also take place in stages. In any case, it must be carried out before the drying process.
For example, with coarse-threaded, non-stretched rayon, which is easier to treat, relaxes after the post-treatment operation has been carried out; in both cases, perfect results are obtained.
If a porous honeycomb winding was mentioned above with increasing thread guide stroke, it inevitably shows that the thread guide path is increased during work. In Figs. 1 and 5 of the drawing, a coil is shown which, as I said, has both sides of the Rän, the outside a greater distance from each other than the inside of the cylinder jacket of the coil. If the bobbin is now to be fully wound, it is a condition that the thread is laid further when the winding increases in thickness, i.e. H. the thread ladder stroke must be increased in order to lay the thread right up to the edges. That is the increasing thread guide hub.
