Description
Cleaning and washcloths. It is already known to use thin raw rubber rags with a rough surface as cleaning and washcloths. The use of rubber for cleaning purposes, e.g. B. in the form of rubber brushes has been known for a long time. However, these raw rubber rags have not particularly proven themselves as cleaning rags or wash rags in terms of durability; In particular, they have lost their tensile strength over time.
The present invention is intended to eliminate the water deficiency and create a cleaning and washing rag, which is not made of rubber alone, but has a rag made of organic fibers as a carrier for a rubber layer, which the cleaning and washing rag the necessary tear strength and durability confers.
According to the invention, the cleaning and washcloth consists of a cloth made of orga African fibers, which has a thin rubber coating on the surface. The fiber cloth can be soaked with rubber milk. To produce the cleaning and washing rag it is best to use a wool, cotton, linen or any other textile fiber rag that can be woven, knitted or braided. The rag is soaked in a rubber solution, preferably rubber milk.
It can be squeezed out between two rollers immediately after impregnation or it can be freed from the excess rubber milk by spinning it out.
The rubber covering can also be applied to the cloth by spraying rubber milk or the like using an atomizer so that the surface of the same ben does not have a continuous rubber layer, but is densely covered with fine rubber particles, whereby the absorbency of the cloth is fully maintained and this is particularly suitable as a washcloth (wash glove).
The cleaning and washcloths produced in this way have the desired tensile strength, porosity and durability. Instead of a textile fiber flap, another flap, e.g. B. leather, synthetic leather, felt or the like can be used.
The cleaning and washcloths described is particularly suitable for cleaning clothes countries and laundry, as well as for cleaning the body, eg. B. in the form of a washing or bathing glove.
