Les dessins annexés représentent, à titre d'exemple, trois formes d'exécution de l'ins tallation selon la présente invention. La fig. 1 en est un schéma qui montre deux postes reliés directement et équipés des moyens d'intervention réciproque pour la di rection de la conversation; La fig. 2 représente une installation sem blable à la première qui est complétée par un système de signalisation donnant aux usa gers les différentes possibilités dont il a été question de a à f ;
Le central comporte pour chaque groupe d'intercommunication et symétriquement dis posés une lampe amplificatrice L,, L., une lampe détectrice L_, respectivement L, des transformateurs Tr, et<I>Tri,</I> respectivement Tr; et Tr, Le groupe d'intercommunication com porte en outre des relais de blocage C, C', des relais de direction<I>H, H',</I> des relais d'inter vention<I>IN, IN',</I> des relais de fixation F,<I>F</I>, des relais d'alimentation<I>D, D', D".</I> un relais de groupe<I>T;

A,, connexion IX, S2 re pos, lampe rouge, connexion X, positif.
Circuit: positif, B, travail, J., repos, en roulement<I>II,</I> I du relais<I>T,</I> bras C du sélec teur<I>SU,</I> enroulement<I>II</I> du relais<I>A',</I> con nexion Vl, repos du bouton<I>d',</I> connexion VIII, négatif.
Circuit: positif, ronfleur Ro, E2 travail, enroulement primaire I du transformateur Trl, enroulement<I>I</I> de la bobine de self S,, négatif.
Circuit: enroulement II du transforma teur Ti-3, contact D3 travail, bras<I>a</I> du sélec- Leur SU, connexion 11, contact S', travail, re pos du bouton<I>in',</I> microphone M', connexion <I>I,</I> bras b du<I>SU,</I> contact D5 travail, enroule ment<I>I</I> du transformateur T-r3, condensateur C,, le microphone étant alimenté au travers de la bobine de self 82.
50 a) Etant occupé,<I>le demandé refuse</I> la corn.rrazcnication.
<I>b) Le demandé accepte la</I> communication.
Le contact<I>IN',</I> ferme un maintien du relais<I>IN'.</I>
Circuit: positif,<I>B,;</I> travail.<I>IN',</I> travail, 13'i repos, enroulement de<I>IN',</I> négatif.
Le contact<I>II'.</I> coupe le relais<I>IN'</I> qui retombe, son rôle étant terminé.
Le demandeur peut à son tour intervenir de la même façon, ce sera cette fois le relais <I>IN</I> qui jouera à son profit le rôle que<I>IN' a</I> joué au profit du demandé. Les boutons<I>in</I> et <I>in'</I> serviront également toutes les fois qu'il y aura du bruit dans le local où se trouve le poste de la personne à qui l'on désire parler.
<B><I>80</I></B> Fixation <I>de la</I> communication <I>dans un</I> seul sen.,.

Telephone installation. Telephone installations are known in which the various stations include a loudspeaker, a microphone and an amplifier which allow users to hear each other without having to hold a receiver to their ears and speak directly into a microphone. It is also known, in such installations to provide relays which are governed by the voice of the user who speaks, relay which controls certain circuits of the installation, so that an acoustic coupling of the microphone and speaker of the same station cannot be primed.
These voice-controlled relays are generally of the differential type, so that the direction of the conversation depends not only on the loudness of the voice of the interlocutors, but also on the noises which are made in the premises where the stations are installed. It follows that the direction of a conversation may be influenced by circumstances beyond the control of the correspondents.
In such installations, a conversation between two users seems to be able to take place exactly, as if the two people were present.
In reality, there are certain diffi culties; not seeing each other, the two correspondents experience a certain embarrassment, nothing fixes their attention, they tend to respond too early or too late.
These difficulties are much less felt in ordinary telephony where holding the receiver to your ear allows you to better follow the nuances of the conversation and to isolate yourself more easily from what is happening around you.
The object of the invention is to create an installation in which the various diffi culties which arise between the users of two stations equipped with loudspeaker and microphone whose current is amplified are reduced to such an extent that the discipline, which up to here had to be acquired by dint of use in the postal service in question, is regulated automatically. The installation according to the invention is characterized in that each station is equipped so as to be able to take the initiative of the conversation notwithstanding the direction which could be given to it by voice.
To this feature may be added that of a signal system which informs users of stations in communication on the direction of the direction of the. conversation and on the occupied or free state of the circuits which join them. These signals can. allow users in particular:
a) to concentrate their attention in the direction of the transmitter, b) to control the establishment of the communication at the time of the call, c) to realize if one can take the call. speech, his correspondent being able to hear him, d) or. on the contrary, that one must not speak, his correspondent cannot hear him, e) they speak loud enough to be heard correctly, f) that the. communication is well broken stinks when the conversation is over. The various points mentioned above can in particular cases be combined with each other or also be partially lacking.
The means that serve. to give the signals mentioned above can affect any of those known in the art. telephony.
In one embodiment, a number of stations equipped with loudspeaker and amplified microphone, are combined. an automatic center comprising, as usual, intercom groups, by means of which users can be automatically reunited with one another. In this case, the amplification devices for both the loudspeakers and the microphones will be brought together in the control unit where they will form part of these intercommunication groups.
Means will then be provided so that, despite the aforementioned automaticity, the signaling from one station to another can take place as if the two users v-- were brought together without the intermediary of a central.
The accompanying drawings show, by way of example, three embodiments of the installation according to the present invention. Fig. 1 is a diagram thereof which shows two stations directly connected and equipped with reciprocal intervention means for the direction of the conversation; Fig. 2 shows a similar installation to the first which is completed by a signaling system giving the users the various possibilities which were discussed from a to f;
Fig. 3 is the diagram of an automatic installation making it possible to connect, by means of call seekers and line selectors, two users whose sets are equipped with the various signals provided for in the example according to fi- Referring to FIG. . 7, I and II designate the positions of the interlocutors. These stations are each equipped with a <I> HP </I> loudspeaker and a very sensitive microphone H. They also have to. their layout a call button a. and an intervention button I. In each station, a buzzer B.
The equipment common to the two stations comprises two amplifiers A1111, respectively A31, and two voice-controlled direction relays C and Ci. The amplifiers are of a known system. There is no need to describe them.
To establish a communication from station I to station II, to station I, push on button a and thus energizes the amplifiers through contact ai and connects buzzer P to the positive pole of the battery by means of contact a_. The signal produced by the buzzer reaches the microphone 131 of set I from where it is transmitted to the loudspeaker <I> HP </I> of set II, alerting the subscriber that it is called. When the button a is released, contact a2 is open and the buzzer is disabled.
The amplifiers remain connected to the battery by the al contact. An attenuation resistor preventing the initiation of the acoustic coupling is interposed on each of the speaker circuits. As soon as one of the users takes the floor, his relay C, respectively C ', is excited. Through its contact 1, this relay interrupts the attenuation circuit and, through its contact 2, the speaker circuit of the speaking user. In this way, it makes the listener's microphone ineffective.
The latter is therefore obliged to wait until his correspondent has finished speaking before taking the floor in turn. However, it may be necessary to intervene before. This intervention is done by means of button i, which allows the person listening to switch on his transmitter and the speaker of the person speaking. This takes place by closing a circuit parallel to that of contact 2 of relay C, respectively C 'and by the momentary re-establishment of the weakening circuit af which is also connected to this intervention button.
When the conversation must be finished, the correspondent who speaks presses the d button, which has the task of returning all the components to their initial position. The way in which this delivery operates is not shown since it has nothing to do with the invention.
Referring to fig. 2 of the drawing, sets I and II are also equipped with a loudspeaker <I> HP, </I> a microphone M, a call button a, an intervention button i and an end of conversation button d. Each station also has the signal lamps V (green), B (white), (red) respectively V ', B', R ', the role of which will be indicated below.
The two stations are shown as directly connected, but it is clear that they could be by the intermediary of an automatic device of known construction.
Af attenuation circuits are provided which are interposed as required by blocking relays C, respectively C 'each having their contacts 1, 2, 3, a flower ron R is used for calling. When station I wants to establish a communication with station II, it presses its button <I> a, </I> the amplifiers AM1 and AMZ are switched on. Buzzer P is activated, but placed after the amplifier, it does not energize relay C of station I. On the other hand, the noise created in the <I> HP </I> speaker of station II is retransmitted by the microphone of the same station.
This has the effect of exciting the relay C1 which, through its contact 2, lights both the green lamp of the called party and the red lamp of the requester. The latter therefore has control of his call and the called party is invited to announce himself. This announcement having been made, relay C 'drops: the red light of the requestor and the. green lamp of the called party goes out. On the other hand, the two white lamps come on, indicating that the communication is established and that the line is free.
As soon as one of the interlocutors begins to speak, relay C for station I or relay C 'for station II is energized and whatever the direction of the conversation, it is the green light of the one who speaks and the red lamp of the listener which lights up alternately.
The relay C, respectively C 'not only directs the conversation in one direction or the other, by interrupting or re-establishing the circuit from the microphone of one of the speakers to the speaker of the other, but also has for mission to indicate to the correspondents the direction of the conversation, respectively if the line is free.
In this embodiment, an intervention button i is also provided. by means of which one of the interlocutors can bypass the interrupted contact of his microphone and the speaker of the corresponding sound to initiate the conversation. It is not necessary to describe the operation of this button, because it is the same as in the previous example.
In fig. 3 is shown a central unit intercom group with auto-switch. This group is equipped with the intervention and signaling devices described above. Station I is assumed to be the calling party and station II called it. It is obvious that these roles are reversible. Part III of the drawing is the central one. Communication is established as follows: The caller connects his set to the exchange by pressing his call button.
As soon as this connection is made, which is indicated by an optical signal, it is linked to the desired station using its bare merotor disc.
If the called set is free, it receives an audio call signal through its loudspeaker which is also received by the calling party and which is stopped automatically, after a determined time, by a relay energized by a current which is generated in the called party's microphone by the sound waves emitted by the latter's loudspeaker.
Sending the call gives the called station the priority of conversation.
If the called party refuses the call because he is busy or for any other reason, he sends, using a refusal button, an auditory signal in the caller's loudspeaker using, for example, the circuits call. Warned by this signal, the calling party cuts off the call.
If the called party accepts the call, it announces itself, then the unilateral caller-to-called party communication continues.
If, during the conversation, one of the interlocutors wishes to interrupt the other and momentarily resume the conversation priority, he presses an intervention button thus acting on relays which reverse the priority to his advantage. .
Finally, if, after having obtained the priority of conversation, one of the interlocutors wishes to fix the communication in one direction only, he presses his call button. If he has to dictate a letter, read or transmit a long enough call, he thus avoids, at each pause, the central relay system coming into play to remove his conversation priority and reestablish it as soon as he begins to speak again, as would normally happen.
This maneuver does not prevent the correspondent from interrupting by pressing his intervention button and thus eliminating the unilateral fixing of the communication. This fixation can then be reestablished by the first interlocutor as indicated above.
At the exchange, as is done in automatic telephony, a call searcher CA, a line selector SU, a pulse emitter EI and various relays relating to each inter-communication group are arranged.
The exchange comprises for each intercommunication group and symmetrically arranged an amplifier lamp L ,, L., a detector lamp L_, respectively L, transformers Tr, and <I> Tri, </I> respectively Tr; and Tr, The intercommunication group also includes blocking relays C, C ', direction relays <I> H, H', </I> intervention relays <I> IN, IN ' , </I> fixing relays F, <I> F </I>, supply relays <I> D, D ', D ". </I> a group relay <I> T;
</I> intercalation relays <I> U, </I> numbering relays Y, call relays E; each station has a relay for switching lamps S, S 'and connection relays <I> A, A'. </I> In all that follows, the names of the relays are not repeated and the contacts are designated by the letter of their relay flanked by the number of said contact.
The operation of the installation is as follows: 10 <I> Call. </I> - The requester presses his button a. At the control unit, the light armature <I> I </I> of its connection relay <I> A </I> as well as the rear of the Y numbering relay are energized.
Circuit: negative, connection VIII, sets 1 of button <I> a, </I> connection ITII, winding 1 of relay A, rest of contact A. ,, rest of contact on fuse holder Pf, rest of contact B # 1 , winding <I> I </I> of relay <I> Y, </I> positive.
Contact A2 prepares the test circuit, contact Y @ prepares the group T relay circuit, contact Yl excites the researcher <I> CA. </I>
Circuit: negative, AC searcher winding, Yl work, BZ idle, T, idle, pulse emitter EI, positive. The <I> CA </I> turns, passing over the caller line, the armature of relay <I> T </I> and heavy armature <I> II </I> of relay A are attracted .
Contact T cuts the circuit of the researcher CA which comes to a standstill on the caller's line, and energizes relay B. Contact A3 disconnects line III-IV, contact: 11 turns on the red lamp on the proxy station thus indicating to the user that the exchange is ready to receive numbering.
Circuit: negative. A ,, IX connection, S2 re pos, red lamp, X connection, positive. When relay B is energized, contact B prepares the numbering circuit, B2 closes a hold of relay <I> B, </I> contact B :, isolates the winding <I> I </I> from the relay Y. Contacts B4 and BE connect line III-IV to relay <I> Y, B; </I> prepare a relay circuit <I> T, </I> Bs prepare relay circuit U and short-circuits relay T which drops out.
30 Newerotage. - The caller dials, while dialing his call disc bypasses his <I> HP </I> loudspeaker and makes the Y relay beat.
From the first pulse, contact Y2 energizes relay J and selector SU. This last takes a step with each impulse; the delayed J relay is maintained for the duration of the pulse train.
Relay J energized: contact J, cuts the short-circuiting of winding I of Y, J2 loops the delay winding of J and main holds U short-circuited. Contact J3 cuts relay T circuit. Selector SU out of its rest position, contact SU, prepares selector SU to be placed in rest. The SU contact cuts a short-circuiting of relay U and prepares the short-circuiting of winding I of relay Y.
When numbering is complete, relay J drops. Contact J .. short-circuits relay U which energizes, contact J closes the circuit of relay T. Relay U energized, contacts U ,, U3 isolate line III-IV from relay Y and A guide to transformer Tr4, contact U = cuts off the numbering circuit. Contact U, prepares a circuit of relay <B> NB. </B> U., prepares a maintenance of relays <I> D, D ', D ". </I> Contact U, maintains relay B .
Relay Y drops.
<B> 30 </B> a) <I> The called station is busy. </I> - Relay T is short-circuited by the low resistance winding of relay <I> T </I> or <I> U </I> relay of the group on which this station is busy. On the calling station, the red light remains on, no noise is heard in the <I> HP loudspeaker, </I> the calling party is thus warned that the requested station is not free.
b) <I> The set </I> requested <I> is free. </I> - When relay J falls, relay T of the group and relay A 'of the requested set are drawn.
Circuit: positive, B, working, J., rest, rolling <I> II, </I> I of relay <I> T, </I> arm C of selector <I> SU, </I> <I> II </I> winding of relay <I> A ', </I> connection Vl, rest of button <I> d', </I> connection VIII, negative.
Relay <I> T </I> energized, contact <I> T 2 </I> cuts a circuit of call relay E, contact T3 cuts a circuit of relay NB. Contact T4 energizes relays <I> E, D, D ', D ". </I> Contact T cuts off the numbering circuit. Contact T, short-circuits the winding <I> II </ I> of the relay relay <I> T. </I> The relays E, <I> D, D ', D "</I> are energized simultaneously, but the sticking of E is much faster.
By energizing relay E, contact L 'short-circuits group relay G. Contact E2 energizes a buzzer Ro in series with winding I of transformer Trl. Contact E3 short-circuits resistor <B> BC </B> placed between windings <I> II </I> and <I> III </I> of transformer Tr2. Contact E4 closes a hold on relay E, E, short-circuits relay G 'by a resistance.
Relays <I> D, D ', </I> D "energized: Contacts D, and D., prepare the caller's microphone circuit. Contacts D :, and D5 prepare the called party's microphone circuit. Contact D ,; closes the circuit of the filament of the four triodes L1, L2, L3, L.,. D'1 prepares the receiving circuit of the calling party. Contact D'3 prepares the circuit of the switching relay S 'of the signal lamps of station II, D ", prepares the circuit for receiving the de mandé.
Contact D "= cuts the output circuit of call relay E and maintains relays E, D, <I> D ', D". </I> Contact D "prepares the relay circuit direction <I> H </I> and <I> H '. </I> D "G completes the circuit of the switching relay of the lamps S of the calling station. The contacts S, and S2 turn on the white lamp, the red lamp goes out.
The purpose of the contacts D ′ and D ″ is to prevent any current from being induced in the station loudspeaker circuit when the units of the intercommunication group are at rest, which current could simulate a call.
40 <I> call signal. </I> - With the EZ contact closed, the called party receives a vibration in his loudspeaker which is transmitted to him by buzzer Ro.
Circuit: positive, buzzer Ro, E2 working, primary winding I of transformer Trl, winding <I> I </I> of choke coil S ,, negative.
The vibrated current flowing through the winding -I of transformer Trl is transmitted to the gate of triode L, which generates a current of the same nature, but amplified in its anode circuit in which the primary of transformer Tr2 is located. .
Circuit: common negative of the batteries (central and anodes) filament and space filament plate of the lamp L ,, rest of the NB relay ,, <I> I </I> winding of the transformer Tr2, contact C ',, positive anodes.
The currents generated in the windings <I> II </I> and <I> III </I> of transformer Tr2 are transmitted to the called party's loudspeaker, passing through the selector <I> SU, </ I > arm <I> d, </I> e and call it <I> DA '. </I>
The vibrations received by the called party's loudspeaker are retransmitted by acoustic coupling to the exchange via their microphone.
Circuit: winding II of transformer Ti-3, contact D3 work, arm <I> a </I> of selector SU, connection 11, contact S ', work, reset of button <I> in', < / I> microphone M ', connection <I> I, </I> arm b of <I> SU, </I> contact D5 work, winding <I> I </I> of transformer T-r3, capacitor C ,, the microphone being fed through the choke coil 82.
These microphone currents being transmitted to the grid of the amplifying lamp La via the winding <I> III </I> of the transformer <I> Tri, </I> they generate currents of the same nature, but amplified in the anode circuit of La and in which the primary winding 1 of the transformer Tr4 is located.
Circuit: common negative of the batteries (power plant and anodes), filament and filament plate space of L3, contact NR3 at rest, winding I of transformer Tr4, contact C, at rest, anode positive.
The currents of the winding I of transformer 4 are transmitted, on the one hand, to the loudspeaker of the requestor by the intermediary of the windings <I> 11 </I> and <I> 111 </I> of Tr4. The calling party is thus notified that the called party has been called.
On the other hand, these currents reach the gate of the triode L., via the winding II ′ of the transformer Tr4. They generate an amplified and detected current in the anode circuit of L ,, in which the winding of the relay G 'is located.
The intensity of the anode current of L4 increases until it is sufficient to allow the attraction of the armature of the relay G '. At this time, contact G ';, disconnects the winding of relay H' which is energized.
Relay H 'energized, contact H', cuts off the call relay E, which drops out and cuts off the call, contact H'_ energizes relay C '.
By energizing relay C ', contact C'1 cuts off the anode circuit of amplifying lamp L ,. Contact C '; disconnects. a resistor RS 'placed in the called party's signaling circuit, which results in the heavy armature 1 falling from its relay S' and causing its green lamp to light up by the working contacts S'2, and S ', rest. Contact C ', short-circuits relay G. C'., Short-circuits the called party's III-IV reception line.
Contact C 'cuts the caller signaling circuit. Its relay S falls and causes the extinction of its white lamp and the re-ignition of its. red lamp by contact 82 resting. Contact C'6 short-circuits relay G 'while the various switching operations ensured by relay C' are carried out. Contact C '$ short circuits the attenuation resistor RC' placed between <I> II </I> and <I> III </I> of transformer Tr4.
50 a) Being busy, <I> the called party refuses </I> the corn.rrazcnication. - Having received the call, he presses his reject button for a moment. On the exchange, its connection relay A 'thus due to the group relay T fall. Call relay E is energized again.
Circuit: positive, U, working, D "2 at work, T2 at rest, winding of E, negative.
When relay T drops, contact T3 closes the circuit of relay NR which is energized. Circuit: positive, D ", work, T2 rest, U4 work, NR winding, negative.
Relay E controls the call circuit again. Relay NR by its contacts NRl and NR, inverts the anode circuits of triodes L, and L3 and the vibrated current produced by buzzer Ro, amplified by triode Ll is this time, via transformer Tr4 , received by the speaker of the mandator.
Warned by this signal, the caller presses his button d, which has the effect of causing the exchange to disconnect the established call.
<I> b) The called party accepts the </I> communication. --- Having received the call, he announces himself, for example: here station X, this response is transmitted by its microphone amplified by L2, received by the caller's loudspeaker and by the detector lamp L4 which maintains the re lais G ', this by the circuits followed in the explanation of the operation of the call.
When the called party has answered, he leaves the floor to the caller. Relay G 'no longer receiving current drops; the direction relay H 'and the blocking relay C' drop out with a delay. Contact C 'restores the anode circuit of L, Contact C'2 short-circuits resistor RS' placed on the demand signaling circuit, which has the effect of exciting the heavy armature <I > II </I> its relay for switching the lamps S 'and causing the white lamp to come on via contacts S', and S'2 on.
Contact C'3 disconnects relay G and contact C'4 disconnects the called party's reception line III-IV. Contact C ′ closes the signaling circuit of the mandator, which has the effect of exciting its relay S and causing the white lamp to light up by S1 and 82 at work. Contact G "@ short-circuits the attenuation resistor RC 'placed between windings <I> -11 </I> and <I> III </I> of transformer Tr4.
At this moment, the white light on both stations indicates that dual communication (outward and return) is established. The reception efficiency is weakened by the resistors placed between <I> II </I> and <I> III </I> of transformers Tr2, Tr4 and by the capacitors placed in bypass on the loudspeakers by the contacts S3 work. This ef ficiency is set slightly below the ignition limit.
<I> 60 The </I> caller <I> speaks. </I> - By his microphone, his conversation is transmitted to the transformer Trl, amplified by the triode Ll received by the called party's loudspeaker, the lamp detector L2 and relay G which is energized.
Relay G energized, contact G, blocks relay G 'by short-circuiting it. Contact G, bypasses the direction relay H which is energized. Contact H energizes blocking relay C and fixing relay F light armature I.
The blocking relay C energized, the contact Cl cuts the anode circuit of L3. Contact C2 disconnects the resistor RS placed in the requestor's signaling circuit, which has the result of dropping the large armature <I> II </I> of its relay S, and causing the ignition of its, green light by contacts S2 on and <B> 8, </B> off. Contact C4 bypasses the caller's reception line.
Contact C cuts off the called party's signaling circuit, which has the result of dropping its relay S 'and causing the red lamp to light up by contact S'2 when resting. Contact C short-circuits G while the various switching operations performed by blocking relay C. Contact Cg short-circuits the attenuation resistor <I> PC </I> placed between the windings <I > II </I> and <I> III </I> of transformer Tr2.
Contact F. prepares the circuit for the control rolling of the heavy armature <I> II </I> of the fastening relay F.
On this principle, the communication can continue without limit, each time one of the interlocutors stops speaking, the communication becomes bilateral again (white light on the two stations) and the initiative of the conversation can be taken again by the speaker. 'one or the other of the interlocutors.
70 Irilerr-uptiora. - However, one of them having the floor, it may be useful for the other to interrupt him. In this case, the latter (suppose the called party) presses his in 'button once, his microphone is cut off by contact 1 and the intervention relay <I> IN' </I> is energized by contact 2 of in '.
Circuit: positive, connection X, contact 2 of button in ', connection Y, arm f of selector SU, rest of C'2, Cri work, winding of relay IN', negative.
The intervention relay <I> IN '</I> being energized, the IN' contact cuts the circuit of the direction relay <I> H. </I> The IN'2 contact cuts the circuit of the C relay. The IN'r contact cuts the delay circuit of relay H so that the latter can drop quickly. The <I> IN ', </I> contact closes a hold of the <I> IN' relay. </I>
Circuit: positive, <I> B ,; </I> working. <I> IN ', </I> working, 13'i rest, winding of <I> IN', </I> negative.
Relay H cut, its contact H, opens the circuit of the blocking relay relay C which drops. Its contact Cl closes the node circuit of the lamp Ls. Contact C4 opens the short-circuiting of the caller's loudspeaker line. By this fact, the initia tive of the conversation is given to the de mandé. On the other hand, when the latter releases the intervention button in ', its microphone circuit closes again, causing a current pulse which energizes the relay G'.
The contact G '.. disconnects the winding 1 of the direction relay H' whose armature is therefore attracted. Contact H '= energizes blocking relay C' which, through its contact C'.s, bypasses the line of the caller loudspeaker. Contact C 'opens the anode circuit of amplifying lamp L1, so that the microphone currents from station I are not transmitted to the called party's speaker circuit. The requester loses his priority. The <I> II '. </I> contact cuts the <I> IN' </I> relay which drops, its role being ended.
The requester can in turn intervene in the same way, this time it will be the <I> IN </I> relay which will play for its benefit the role that <I> IN 'has </I> played for the benefit of the called party. The <I> in </I> and <I> in '</I> buttons will also be used whenever there is noise in the room where the extension of the person to whom you want to speak is located .
<B><I>80</I> </B> Fixing <I> of the </I> communication <I> in one </I> single sen.,. - If one of the interlocutors wishes to dictate a letter, read or have a fairly long communication, he can, having the initiative of the conversation, fix 1i. communication in this direction by pressing once on its button a, it thus energizes the fixing relay F if it is the caller, the relay F 'if it is the called party.
Circuit: (for the requester) positive, connection <I> X, </I> contact 2 of button <I> a, </I> connection <I> IV, </I> t13 work, arm <I> d </I> of <B> <I> CA, </I> </B> B4 work, <I> U, </I> work, winding <I> III </I> of transformer Tr4, F2 work, <I> II </I> winding of F, negative.
The <I> II </I> winding of relay F energized: Fi double G ?, F3 maintains relay F.
Circuit: positive, B5 working, rest of IN '.- "F, working, winding <I> II </I> of F, negative.
The person can then speak low or even stop speaking, the relay G falls, but the relay H remains maintained by the .ontact F ,. The communication therefore remains fixed in the direction, person speaking towards person listening. However, the latter always retains the possibility of interrupting by pressing once on its <I> in 'button, </I> by this maneuver the relay <I> IN' </I> is energized and the contact I11 ",, cuts the holding of relay r, everything therefore returns to normal.
