Ordnung" (zum Beispiel COOH-, CN, <B><I>NO"</I></B> S0"FI, iSulfon- oder Sulf- amidreste usw.) in ider 2-Stellung des Aus gangsmaterials befindet.
Man erhält etwa 200 Gewichtsteile nahezu reines 2-Chlor-8-nitrochrysen.
Method for the preparation of an aminochrysen. It has been found that by nitrating chrysene derivatives substituted in the 2-position, uniform mononitro derivatives are obtained in good yield, regardless of whether there is a substituent "1.
Order "(for example halogen, alkyl, oxy, alkoxy, acetamino, etc.) or such a" 2. Order "(for example COOH, CN, <B><I>NO"</I> </B> S0" FI, iSulfon- or sulfamide residues, etc.) is located in the 2-position of the starting material.
As far as it could be determined, the nitrochrysenes obtained in this way belong to the same series as Chrysene-2. 8-diderivate, as stated in the following examples:
EMI0001.0032
The nitration of the chrysene-2 derivatives can be carried out by the action of nitric acid in an organic solvent or in any other known manner.
By reducing the nitrochrysenes obtainable in this way in an acidic or alkaline medium, with metals, with catalytically excited hydrogen or with other reducing agents, a large number of new aminochrysenes substituted in the 8-position can be prepared.
The nitro and aminochrysenes to be produced by the present process can be used as intermediates for the synthesis of dyes, for example the azo series (as active, partly also as passive components), the oxazine series, the anthraquinone series, and so on.
The subject of this patent is a process to represent an aminochrysenic, which is characterized in that 2-chlorochrysenic is monotrated and the 2-chloro-8-nitrochrysenic thus obtained is treated with a reducing agent.
<I> Examples: </I> 1. 52.4 parts by weight 2 - Chlorchrysen (colorless, flat needles from F. <B> 157 ', </B> available as described in the following example, paragraph -1) are warm and dissolved in 500 parts by weight of nitrobenzene and the solution is cooled to <B> 30 '</B>. At this tempera ture, a mixture of 20 parts by weight of nitric acid (specific weight 1.5) and 40 parts by weight of nitrobenzene is run in with stirring.
As the temperature rises to about <B> 160 '</B>, the 2-chloro-8-nitrochrysene is deposited in yellow needles. After about half an hour of stirring at <B> 60 '</B> it is sucked off and washed with alcohol. From booty about @ 50 parts by weight.
Recrystallization from nitrobenzene gives 2-chloro-8-nitrochrysenic in long, yellow needles with a melting point of 3.09 to 31.0 '. This product is reduced to 2-chloro-8-aminochrysen by treatment with a reducing agent, for example in the manner indicated in Example 2.
2. 2:28 parts by weight of chrysene are dissolved warm in 2000 parts by weight of nitrobenzene, the solution is cooled to 2.0 with brisk stirring, part of the chrysene separating out in finely divided form and gradually a mixture of 150 parts by weight of sulphuryl chloride and 150 parts by weight Allowed nitrobenzene to run in.
The temperature is increased in the course of 2 hours to 130 'and, when the evolution of hydrogen chloride has ended, it is cooled to 20'.
After prolonged stirring at this temperature, the small amount (about 20 to 25 parts by weight) is separated off and the separated dichloro-chrysene is crystallized by filtration. All of the 2-chlorochrysenic produced is in solution in the filtrate.
A solution of 80 parts by weight of nitric acid (specific weight 1.5) in 100 parts by weight of nitrobenzene is then run into this filtrate while stirring, and the procedure continues as described in Example 1. About 200 parts by weight of almost pure 2-chloro-8-nitrochrysene are obtained.
; 30 parts by weight of the chloronitrochrysenic thus prepared are finely divided in 300 parts by weight of glacial acetic acid in 300 parts by weight of glacial acetic acid, with stirring and reflux cooling. A solution of 90 parts by weight of tin chloride in 100 parts by weight of concentrated hydrochloric acid is then gradually run into the hot suspension.
After about an hour the yellow needles of the nitro compound have completely disappeared and the amine hydrochloride has deposited itself in a colorless, thick paste. It is filtered off with suction, washed free of tin with dilute hydrochloric acid and then the chlorohydrate is converted to the free amine with dilute sodium hydroxide solution.
After suctioning off, washing and drying, about 26 parts by weight of the pale yellowish 8-amino-2-chlorochrysenic are obtained, which crystallizes from glacial acetic acid in shiny flakes, from benzene in coarse crystals of F. 214 '. The acetyl compound, which crystallizes from nitrobenzene in colorless needles, melts at 295 C.
The 8 - amino - 2 - chlorochrysenic that can be obtained in this way is a new substance that is to be used as an intermediate product in the manufacture of dyes.
