Alarm clock with synchronous motor drive. The invention relates to an alarm clock with a synchronous motor drive, with an automatically limited signal duration and with a manually operable device for turning off the alarm signal.
The invention consists in the fact that the alarm clock has a uniformly rotating cam which is under the action of a spring and grinds on the edge of the alarm clock sleeve, which is provided with a cutout with a steep sloping edge and sloping edge. When the alarm clock comes into effect, the cam falls into the recess and presses the free end of an annular spring down. which closes the signal circuit contacts in the tensioned state.
This ring spring lies in the alarm box, and its free end protrudes in the direction of rotation of the cam by a certain amount over the waste edge of the cutout in the alarm box edge, so that it is released by the cam after a time corresponding to the signal duration after the alarm comes into force and 'opens the signal contacts automatically.
For parking by hand, an actuating member is provided which enables the cam to be lifted out of the cutout after it has fallen into the cutout and to be secured in the raised position.
For this backup can. a cylinder spring which surrounds the edge of the alarm box on the outside and is attached to it at one end, the free end of which is flexible in radial direction protrudes beyond the edge of the alarm box in the axial direction,
so that it supports the circumferential cam protruding in the radial direction over the edge of the bushing by hand after it has been lifted out of the 'cutout when the alarm clock signal is switched off and does not allow it to fall back into the cutout.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the floor plan of the entire alarm device; Fig. 2 shows the drive in elevation, Fig. 3 is a section and Fig. 4 is a view of a detail.
A continuously running synchronous motor, not shown, is loosened by a wide wheel 1 on the alarm clock axis 2. running wheel 3 driven. A cam 4 is firmly seated on the hub of this wheel and provided with a cutout 6a by the force of the spring 5 on the edge of the mechanical alarm clocks and can be set to the VGTeckzeit by means of the button 7, but otherwise the alarm box is fixed 6 rests. 6b is the falling edge of the cutout 6a.
Inside the alarm box 6, a spring 8 is attached at point 8a. In the vicinity of its free end, this spring carries a pin 8b which extends through the base of the alarm box. The end 8c of the spring protrudes a certain amount over the trailing edge 6b and determines the duration of the signal by its position.
The cam 4 associated with the wheel 3 is rotated by the motor once every 24 hours. If it falls through the force of the spring 5 at the gante 6b, then it presses the spring 8 with its pin 8b against a sleeve 9 which is slidable on the shaft 2 and which closes the .Kontakt 10 in the circuit of an electrical bell or the buzzer 11 . As soon as the continuously running cam 4 has passed the end 8c of the spring 8, this spring is released, springs back again and opens the resilient contact 10 again.
Due to the inclined rising edge 6a of the cutout in the alarm box, the cam 4 is pushed up again on the edge of the alarm box with compression of the spring 5 so that it can fall off the edge 6b again for the next wake-up.
The manual shutdown is done by pressing the rod 12 by means of the pressure plate 13; the rod 12 carries a fork 14 which pushes the wheel 3 with the cam 4 axially ver. So that the cam 4 can no longer fall back into the recess, it protrudes slightly beyond the circumference of the alarm box 6 and rests with its end on a spring 15 which is placed around the alarm box and fastened to it at 15a.
The end of this spring at the trailing edge 6b is wider in the axial direction than the edge of the alarm box, so that the cam 4 cannot rest on this spring during normal operation, but pushes it back in the radial direction, after which it can fall off undisturbed. _ The fact that the end of the spring 15 on the circumference of the alarm box extends beyond the falling edge, the alarm can be switched off before it starts.
