Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine auto matische Abstellung und Regulierung der Gaszufuhr an Kochherden und bezweckt, beim Kochen von Milch oder andern flüssigen Stoffen jegliches Überlaufen der Flüssigkeit durch automatisches ganzes oder teilwe.ises Schliessen des G'ashahnens zu verunmöglichen.
Die beiliegende Zeichnung zeigt den Er findungsgegenstand beispielsweise, und zwar zeigt: Fig. <B>1</B> eine Seitenansicht ohne Verdeck mit Kochtopf, Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht ohne Verdeck mit Kochtopf, Fig. <B>3</B> eine Vorderansicht der Befestigung einer Verbindungsschiene mit dem Gashahn. In der Zeichnung ist<B>1</B> der Gasherd. 2 ist ein Bügel, auf welchem der Apparat be festigt ist. Der Bügel kann vermittelst einer Schraube am Gasherd befestigt werden. Auf dem Bügel 2 befindet sich eine senkrecht stellende Gebäusewand <B>3,</B> an welcher ein zweiarmiger Hebel 4 drehbar in einem Lager <B>5</B> gelagert ist.
An dem einen Arm des He bels 4, der oben gebogen ist, ist am Ende ein Schlitz<B>6</B> vorgesehen, in welchem eine Schiene<B>7</B> verstellbar bewegt werden kann. <B>8</B> ist eine Schraube, um die gewünschte Stellung festzuhalten. Das andere Ende des zweiarmigen Hebels ist verstärkt und hat das Bestreben gegen den Einschnitt 12 einer Klinke<B>9</B> zu drücken und so die.Klinke in einer gewissen Lage zu erhalten.

Der Apparat arbeitet -wie folgt: Wird beim Beginn des Kochen s die Schiene<B>7</B> auf den Kochtopfdeckel aufgesetzt, so hält der eine Arm des Hebels 4 durch den Einschnitt 12 die Klinke<B>9,</B> die unter Federspannung steht, in gespannter Lage, wie dies aus der Zeichnung zu ersehen ist. Fängt jedoch die Flüssigkeit z. B.
Milch zu kochen an, so hebt sich der Deckel des Topfes<B>13,</B> mit diesem auch die Schiene<B>7,</B> dadurch dreht sich der Hebel 4 im Lager<B>63</B> wodurch der untere Arm des Hebels 4 aus dem Einschnitt 12 der Klinke<B>9</B> gezogen wird, so dass die Klinke <B>9</B> durch die Federkraft der Feder<B>11</B> sich um den Zapfen<B>10</B> dreht und die Kette 14' mit der Verbindungsschiene 14 anzieht und damit den Griff des Gashahnens <B>16</B> dreht, wodurch das Gas abgestellt wird. In der Scheibe<B>17</B> ist eine weitere Öffnung-<B>18</B> vor gesehen.
Diese Öffnung ist so berechnet, dass wenn die Verbindungsstange 14 in diese<B>Öff-</B> nung<B>18</B> eingehängt und darnach der Griff bewegt wird, das Gas nur teilweise abgestellt, also auf schwaches Feuer eingestellt wird. -Über die Gebäusewand <B>3</B> kann ein nicht gezeichnetes Verdeck gestülpt werden.
