Description
Zusatznatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 178820. Verfahren zur Darstellung eines blaiistiehig roten Nonoazofarbstoifes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem blaustichig roten Monoazofarbstoff von sehr guten Echtheitseigenschaften gelangt, wenn man Orthanilsäure-diphenylamid diazotiert und mit 2-Amino-8-oxynaphtaIin-6-sulfo- säure sauer vereinigt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 32 Teile Orthanilsäurediphenylamid wer den in Eisessiglösung mit 6,9 Teilen Na triumnitrit und 2'5 Teilen 30%iger Salzsäure diazotiert. Die Diazolösung lässt man in eine essigsaure Lösung von 24 Teilen 2-Amino-8- oxynaphtalin - 6 - sulfosäure einlaufen und stumpft die überschüssige Mineralsäure mit Natriumacetat ab. Der Farbstoff wird mit Kochsalz vollständig abgeschieden, filtriert, mit verdünnter Salzlösung gewaschen und getrocknet.
Er stellt ein rotbraunes Pulver dar, das Wolle in klarem, blaustichig rotem Ton anfärbt. Die Färbung ist sehr gut licht- und walkecht und zeigt gute Egalität.

It has been found that a bluish red monoazo dye with very good fastness properties is obtained if orthanilic acid diphenylamide is diazotized and combined acidic with 2-amino-8-oxynaphthalen-6-sulfonic acid.
<I> Example: </I> 32 parts of orthanilic acid diphenylamide are diazotized in glacial acetic acid solution with 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite and 2.5 parts of 30% hydrochloric acid. The diazo solution is allowed to run into an acetic acid solution of 24 parts of 2-amino-8-oxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid and the excess mineral acid is blunted with sodium acetate. The dye is completely separated off with common salt, filtered, washed with dilute brine and dried.
It is a red-brown powder that dyes wool in a clear, bluish red shade. The dyeing is very lightfast and washfast and shows good levelness.
