Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. <B>178820.</B> Verfahren zur Darstellung eines roten Nonoazofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem roten Monoazofarbstoff von sel-ir guten Echt heitseigenschaften gelangt, wenn man Ortha- ililsäure-anilid diazotiert und mit 2-Amino- 8-oxynaphtalin-6-sulionsäure sauer vereinigt. <I>Beispiel:</I> 24,8 Teile Orthanilsäureanilid werden in Wasser mit 4 Teilen Ätznatron gelöst.
Zu der Lösung gibt man<B>6,9</B> Teile Natriumnitrit und lässt die Mischung in eine verdünnte Salzsäure, die<B>35</B> Teile 30%ige Salzsäure enthält, einlaufen. Die gebildete Diazolb- sung wird zu einer essigsauren, Lösung von 24 Teilen 2-Amino-8-oxynaplitalin-6-sulfon- säure zufliessen gelassen. Zur Vollendung der Kupplung stumpft man die überschüs sige Xiineralsäure mit Natriumacetat ab. Der Farbstoff wird mit Kochsalz vollständig abgeschieden, filtriert, mit Kochsalzlösung gewaschen und getrocknet.
Er stellt ein rot braunes, in Wasser leicht lösliches Pulver dar, das Wolle in klarem rotem Farbton an färbt. Die Färbung zeichnet sieh durch gute Licht- und Walkechtheit und durch vorzüg liche EgalitU aus.

It has been found that a red monoazo dye of sel-ir good fastness properties is obtained if orthalic acid anilide is diazotized and combined acidic with 2-amino-8-oxynaphthalene-6-sulionic acid. <I> Example: </I> 24.8 parts of orthanilic acid anilide are dissolved in water with 4 parts of caustic soda.
<B> 6.9 </B> parts of sodium nitrite are added to the solution and the mixture is allowed to run into a dilute hydrochloric acid containing <B> 35 </B> parts of 30% hydrochloric acid. The diazole solution formed is allowed to flow into an acetic acid solution of 24 parts of 2-amino-8-oxynaplitalin-6-sulfonic acid. To complete the coupling, the excess xineral acid is blunted with sodium acetate. The dye is completely separated off with common salt, filtered, washed with common salt solution and dried.
It is a red-brown powder, easily soluble in water, which dyes wool in a clear red shade. The dyeing is characterized by good lightfastness and flexing fastness and excellent equality.
