Device for taking correct-sided images using photomechanical paper. The present invention relates to a device for recording correct images on the side by means of photomechanical paper and is intended to enable such recordings to be made with any commercially available photo camera. The invention is used in particular for the production of light prints or photocopies and is intended to provide significant relief for the reproduction of literature, illustrations from specialist works or the like in statistical, graphic, scientific work, etc.
Up to now, photocopies could only be made using expensive special equipment tied to the location. The new facility can be designed in such a way that it is cheap, stable and easy to expand, as well as easy to handle by anyone.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the invention is illustrated, namely FIG. 1 shows a cross section along the message line of FIG. 2, which shows a plan view in the ready-to-use state; Fig. 3 shows the device folded together in section.
The device consists of a commercially available photo camera 1 of any For mats and make, to which a reversing mirror housing 3 connects, which is to be collapsed. A setting frame 7, 8, y is connected to the reversing mirror housing 3 and can be placed on a slide 10 until the focusing screen 11, which is replaced by photomechanical paper during the recording process, is sharp Picture shows.
The camera 1 rests in a cassette-like frame 2, the so-called adapter, which is set up for the various commercially available formats. The adapter 2 also forms one side wall of the order reversing mirror housing 3, the actual mirror surface 4 is at an angle of 45 to the adapter surface. The mirror housing 3 is closed off from the outside in a light-tight manner by end faces 5 and 6, which can also be folded in.
The end faces 5 and 6 are adapted to the triangular shape of the mirror housing and therefore have a triangular shape; in the folded state they lie in the fixed part 7 of the adjustment frame. The adapter 2 is folded up on it, while the actual mirror surface 4 covers all other surfaces.
On the other side of the fixed frame part 7, a bellows 8 is attached to its one end, while its end is connected to the movable part 9 of the adjustment frame. This part 9 is movably arranged on a slide 10 so that the bellows 8 can be pulled out as desired until the ground glass 11 is adjusted accordingly.
The photomechanical paper that takes the place of the ground glass screen 11 can of course be used entirely as desired, such as the usual film packs or roll films, or even according to the type of plate in individual cassettes. The carriage 10, like the adapter 2 and the mirror surface 4, is articulated on the stationary frame part 7, so that it can be folded over the frame 9 when the bellows 8 are pushed together and lies as a cover over the device.
No claims are made on the quality of the camera used. The simplest make is sufficient to obtain satisfactory results. If, as in the embodiment described, the reversing mirror housing is carried out collapsible, it is important to maintain the 45 'angle between adapter 2 and mirror surface 4, and between the latter and the frame part 7, to always ensure perfect recordings with correct Seitenver to achieve proportion.
The fact that the photo camera 1 and the bellows 8, as well as the distance of the object from the lens can be set, results in the device being able to be largely adapted and enlarged. For example, you can make small cut-outs from a larger sheet and multiply or enlarge or reduce the larger sheet, whatever you want and the purpose.
The collapsibility of the device has the advantageous consequence that you can easily take it anywhere in a briefcase; where recordings are to be made.
