Cistern. The present invention is a cistern, and the innovation relates specifically to the interior fittings of the cistern.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is Darge, namely shows: Figure 1, the cistern in view with partially removed wall; Fig. 2 and 3 are sections through the trim at different Ventil Stel lungs.
The cistern shown has a reservoir 1, a float 2 and an inflow line 3 in a customary manner. The interior fitting has a drain valve, the outlet opening of which lies in a plane with the bottom of the container 1. From the end of the valve seat tube 4 is effected by a valve plate 5 which is attached to a hollow tube 7 opening into an overflow funnel 6 at the top. As can be seen in particular from Fig. 2, the valve plate 5 consists of a metal, screwed on the tube 7 or otherwise be fixed carrier plate 9, which has an annular recess 8 at the edge.
On the support plate 9 sits a resiliently arranged leather washer 10, which causes the actual closure from. When the valve is closed, the disc 10 rests on the narrow Ven tilsitz. The part of the leather washer 10 located above the drain pipe 4 will bend slightly and produce a firm seal. On the pipe 7 a stop 11 is fixed, for example by soldering, welding, - by screws ben etc. concentrically around the pipe 7 is a supported by consoles container 12 is arranged in which a float 13 is movable. The float 13 can slide up and down in the longitudinal direction of the tube 7. It is dimensioned in such a way that an intermediate space 14 - remains between it and the container wall 12.
Be container 12 and reservoir 1 are connected to each other through one or more openings 15 a related party. The upper part of the tube 7 formed as an overflow funnel 6 is encompassed by a bracket 16 which is rotatably mounted in the reservoir wall 1 in a known manner. The free end 17 of the bracket can be operated by a pulling device or by a push button in the case of a low-hanging cistern.
The mode of operation of the Vorricbtung is as follows: At rest, the reservoir is filled, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. If water is to be removed from the cistern, the valve plate 5 is raised by actuating the Bü gel 16, pipe 7 and thus the valve plate. The water in the container 1 will therefore flow out and cause the actual flushing of the toilet. To raise the valve plate 5, the cooperation of the bracket 16 is required because the float 13, which in itself also exerts an upward force on the stop 11 of the pipe 7, is not large enough to absorb the water on the valve plate pressure and the weight of the pipe 7 and the valve plate 5 to overcome.
When the bracket 16 is actuated and after the reservoir 1 has been emptied, the device is in the position shown in FIG. When the bracket 16 is raised, the float 13 has also risen. After all the water has now flowed out of the container 1, the water contained in the space 14 now flows out. This water can no longer be used for the actual flushing - it rather acts as an odor trap in the bowl of the toilet. Simultaneously with the gradual outflow of water from the loading container 12, the float and there with the valve plate 5 will lower at the same time, and as soon as all the water has flowed out, the drain valve is closed.
The cistern is then filled in a known manner, with the openings 15 producing the distribution between the Behäl ter 1 and 12, so that the water level is always the same in both. The opening or openings 15 are dimensioned so that the entire loading container 1 can empty before a wesent Licher part of the water contained in the container 14 can escape.
Because the outlet opening of the valve lies in one plane with the bottom of the cistern, a complete emptying of the container 1 is effected each time, whereby it can be kept small.
