Der Erfindungs gegenstand zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass der Lenkstangenträger auf einem in das Schaftrohr eingesetzten und mit diesem fest verbundenen Rohrstück drehbar gelagert ist und dass am Lenkstangenträger und am Rohreinsatzstück Scheiben vorgesehen sind, deren eine Scheibe eine unter Federdruck;

Device on bicycles for adjusting the handlebars on and securing the bicycle against unauthorized use. It is well known that bicycles that have to be parked or housed in a bicycle stand with other bicycles have the disadvantage that the handlebar is obstructive in the way and thereby putting several wheels in a stand usually takes up a lot of space.
According to the invention, this drawback is now eliminated in that the handlebar can be rotated from its position of use on the shaft tube by 90 degrees into the plane of the front wheel, whereby it can be secured in both positions by a lock, on the one hand to its Si protection in the position of use, on the other hand, to prevent the use of the bike by unauthorized persons.
The subject of the invention is characterized in that the handlebar support is rotatably mounted on a tubular piece inserted into the shaft tube and firmly connected to it, and that the handlebar support and the tubular insert piece are provided with disks, one of which is a disk under spring pressure;
has standing pawl, while the other disc has two ratchet notches offset by 90 degrees, for the purpose of being able to lock the handlebar in the transverse position and parallel to the front wheel on the shaft tube, with a safety lock being provided, the bolt of which the two discs allowed to secure both in the position of use and in the out-of-use position of the handlebar.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown in one embodiment, namely: Fig. 1 is a view of the device from behind.
2 shows a longitudinal section along line II of FIG. 1, FIG. 1 shows a view of the handlebar support with disk from below, FIG. 4 shows a top view of the handlebar support with disk, FIG. 5 shows a longitudinal section through the shaft tube with insert, Washer and lock, Fig. 6 is a plan view of the shaft tube with washer, Fig. 7 is a longitudinal section through the lock in the closed state, Fig. 8 is a longitudinal section through the lock in the open state, Fig. 9 is a cross section along line II-II 8 and FIG.
10 is a plan view of the steering rod in the two locking positions offset by 90 degrees.
In the drawing, the handlebar is denoted by a, while b is the handlebar carrier, which forms a whole with the disc c. In the shaft tube d a pipe clip e is inserted; he is firmly connected with him. This pipe socket e carries a disk f at the end of the shaft tube d. The stump e1 of the pipe socket e protruding above the disk f is used to support the handlebar support b, in the bore g of which the stump e1 engages and around which the handlebar support b can be rotated. A pawl h is articulated on the handlebar support b and is pressed by means of a compression spring i into a recess k located on the circumference of the disc c.
Furthermore, the disk f also has two such recesses l and l1 on its circumference, which are offset from one another by 90 degrees. In the position of use, for example, the pawl h engages in the recess l1. If the pawl h is lifted out of the recess k and the steering rod support b is rotated by 90 degrees, the pawl comes to rest in the recess l. In both positions, the steering rod carrier b is coupled to the steerer tube d so that the latter is rotated with the steering rod. Below the disk f, a lock na is firmly connected to this and the shaft tube d , the bolt n of which protrudes into a hole recess o in the disk f in the open state (FIG. 5).
The disk c also has its two hole recesses p and q, which are offset by 90 degrees and are covered at the top, which are arranged on the disk c in such a way that the hole recesses p and o or in the two locking positions of the handlebar offset by 90 degrees q and o come to lie on top of each other and when the lock is closed, the bolt n engages in one of these recesses p or q. so that if the handlebar is out of use, it is impossible to use the bike from an unsolicited side. The bolt n cannot be returned without a key.
In order to prevent the handlebar support from being twisted beyond the two locking positions, for example if the pawl lt should not engage, a pin r is provided on the disk c, which in the end positions with the lugs s or t of the disk 1 (Fig. 6) comes to a stop.
