Rotary sliding door with at least one secondary leaf, the subject of the present invention is a further embodiment of the rotary sliding door according to the patent claim of the main patent. In the present case, the term door should also include a window.
The novelty of the invention is that at least one secondary gate plate is attached to the edge of the main gate plate by means of a hinge which is parallel to the axis of rotation of the main gate plate. In order to guide the free end of the Nebentorplatte in zweclient- speaking direction, special devices can be attached, ent neither one or more rails, or an articulated rod at the end, which leads this end in a flat arc around a stationary pivot.
In some cases, especially when the door is pivoted horizontally, two bars are expediently used, one for each of the two free corners of the secondary wing.
This design of the rotating sliding door ensures that the door locking body requires much less space for movement when opening and closing ..e t2 than a completely undivided rigid locking body. For example, if the ceiling of the room is only slightly higher than the lintel of the door opening in the case of doors with a wacrecUter rotary axis,
a secondary wing is expediently fastened above the main gate plate by means of hinges and the free end of the secondary wing is either guided in an appropriate (mainly horizontal) direction with lateral rails or with two lateral, articulated rods in a flat circle around two stationary, one opposite one another Pivot.
In the case of doors with a vertical pivot axis, a secondary wing is attached to the main panel on the side of the storage niche of the door if the niche is limited in depth. With a second secondary wing on the opposite edge of the main door panel, it is achieved that a smaller space in front of the closed door is taken up by the rotary movement than with an undivided rotary sliding door.
The hinged door with secondary wings can also consist of two main wings with separate rotary axes. For the positive connection of these two door leaves, a driver arm is firmly connected to each leaf construction, and the free ends of both arms are articulated to one another by a coupling rod.
In the three accompanying drawings, three different embodiments of rotary sliding doors with secondary leaves are ge shows. Fig. 1 shows a door with a horizontal pivot axis a and a secondary wing nf, which is linked to the upper edge of the main door panel t. Fig. 1 is a vertical section through the door in the Riehitunog of the passage room.
It also denotes bo the floor, d the ceiling, s the lintel, ti a door bearing or one of the two pivot pins on the side of the passage space in the pivot axis a, one of the two lateral rails for guiding the pins at the free end of the secondary wing, g one of the two lateral counterweights, the size and position of which are chosen so that the center of gravity of the ge The entire mass, which turns around the axis a, lies in the vicinity of this axis of rotation, namely in pl with the door closed, in p2 in a two-way position and in p3 with the door open.
When determining the center of gravity, only the lower half of the weight of the secondary wing nf, acting in the hinges, is taken into account, since the upper half is completely supported by the guide rails where they are horizontally. In the closed position, the weight of this upper part presses the door down if pl is close enough to the axis of rotation a according to the drawing; in the other positions the door tends to open completely due to the action of the counterweights.
Figs. 2 and 3 show two types of doors with vertical axes of rotation a. Both drawings are horizontal sections through the door with views from bottom to top. It denotes t the main door panels, nf the secondary panels, sch the overhead rails for guiding the pegs at the free end of the secondary panels along the side walls w of the rooms, b the rollerways above that form the door panels together with the secondary leaves, the supporting rollers attached to the door beams.
Fig. 2 shows a two-wing door in which each wing is equipped with a secondary wing nf on the side of the one-way niche, and both wings near sub-claims 3 of the main patent are connected to one another in such a way that the wings are connected see opening and closing at the same time. For this purpose, a driver arm according to the drawing is attached to the supporting structure of each door leaf and provided with a joint at the end.
A coupling rod k keeps these two joints at an unchangeable distance.
Fig. 3 shows a single-wing door with two secondary wings, attached to both sides of the main wing. As in the other examples, the free end of the secondary wing on the right is guided by means of a rail, but the end of the secondary wing on the left by means of the rod st in a flat arc around the stationary pivot z.
Rotary sliding doors with secondary leaves are suitable for all door and window locks. in which only little space can be painted during opening and closing, for which purposes roller shutters and similar, many-divided locking bodies have been used up to now.
The new design, however, has the advantage that the closure body is only slightly subdivided and its weight or most of its weight is only supported by two pivot pins or only by two rollers, making movement easier and with less noise in front of you - elit and the Closure seals better.
When using such secondary wings, a single wing with a vertical rotary witch and a secondary wing is sufficient for ordinary garage doors. However, if only a small amount of space in front of the door can be painted (for example if the public green d in front of the building line is not available), a second secondary wing is attached as shown in Fig. 3. For very wide doors, over 3 to 4 m, it is better to use two leaves with vertical pivot axes as shown in Fig. 2.
With vertical axes of rotation, the guide rail is almost at the height of the runway. A short guide on the floor is sufficient to press the sash into the locked position; otherwise the floor remains free. The seal on the floor can be done by a special strip, which consists of flexible material (felt, rubber) at the bottom and is pressed down in a known way when closing.
If the width of the door opening is particularly cross with respect to hell (airport hangars, workshops), it is advisable to use doors with a wagrecliter pivot. The counterweights of such doors can also be attached at a different location than shown in Fig. 1, by connecting them to the door mass, for example by means of wire ropes. If you give the counterweights a greater lifting height at the same time, they can be held correspondingly more easily.
