Description

Brosse.

Brush. It is very often difficult to obtain a satisfactory state of cleanliness by the sole use of the broom for cleaning streets and sidewalks, cobbled, paved or asphalted courtyards, floors of workshops and industrial buildings, etc. , because a lot of trampled waste adheres strongly to the ground. An utensil capable of detaching these roughness is most often not at hand, we try to do a superficial sweep.

The object of the present invention is to obviate this drawback by providing the brush with a scraper which can be fixed or removable.

The drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 is an overview; Fig. 2 shows how to use the scraper.

The brush 1, provided with the usual handle, carries to the upper edge of its front side the scraper 2 forming one body with it. This element 2 can be fixed with a brush - definitively or by a device which allows it to be quickly exchanged for another.

Is it a question of removing hardened and particularly adherent impurities? The working edge of the scraper will be executed with teeth or points. The device adapts just as easily to the cleaning of the tram tracks, for example. For this -employment, its operating edge will be profiled, that is to say pro-lengthened by a tongue entering the groove -of the rail, while two lateral edges will help -to keep the debris coming out of the throat on the scraper.

The brush can also be adapted as a hand brush for small pTofes.sional applications.

The scraper itself will always have the shape that best lends itself to the particular use. Likewise, the material of this element will be chosen in view of the function for which it is intended,
