Brosse à dents pour le nettoyage des faces internes < les dents et des gencives. L'invention a pour objet une brosse à dents particulièrement agencée pour permet tre un nettoyage efficace des faces internes des dents et des gencives. On sait en effet que ces parties ne peuvent être atteintes aisé ment au moyen des brosses ordinaires et que le nettoyage est toujours imparfait.
La brosse conforme à l'invention com porte, à l'une des extrémités du manche, deux touffes de soies décalées latéralement par rap port à l'axe du manche et décalées angulaire- ment l'une par rapport à l'autre de telle sorte qu'elles présentent des directions divergentes.
Au dessin annexé sont représentées, à titre d'exemple, plusieurs forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
Les fig. 1 et 2 montrent par une vue en élévation et une vue en plan la première de ces formes d'exécution; Les fig. 3 et 4 montrent respectivement de face et de côté une seconde forme d'exécu tion dans laquelle le décalage angulaire des platines est de<B>180</B> , les deux touffes de soies étant opposées l'une à l'autre; La fig. 5 est une vue en élévation mon trant la combinaison d'une telle brosse avec une brosse ordinaire.
La brosse à dents représentée fig. 1 et 2 comprend un manche 1 portant à une de ses extrémités deux platines porte-soies 2 et 3 qui sont décalées latéralement par rapport à l'axe du manche et présentent de plus entre elles un décalage angulaire, de façon que les touf fes des soies 4 et 5 aient des directions diver gentes.
Le mode d'emploi d'un telle brosse à dents se comprend immédiatement: Si l'on place le manche 1 horizontalement, la platine 3 se trouvant en dessus, on peut très commodément avec la touffe de soies 5 atteindre du côté interne les dents supérieures de gauche. Après avoir f ait tourner la brosse d'un angle convenable autour de l'axe de son manche, on nettoie de même avec la touffe 4 les faces internes des dents inférieures de gauche.
Les dents supérieures et inÏérieures de droite se nettoient semblablement du côté in terne au moyen des touffes 4 et 5. Quand à la face externe des dents et des gencives elle se nettoie avec une brosse à dents de type ordinaire.
Dans le dispositif des fig. 3 et 4 le déca lage des deux platines porte-soies est égal à 180 ; ces deux platines peuvent d'ailleurs être remplacées par un seule plaque 7 pour vue de soies 4 et 5 sur ces deux faces. Une telle brosse s'utilise comme la précédente.
Au lieu de recourir à deux brosses distinc tes l'une pour les faces internes des dents, l'autre pour les faces externes, on peut, avec un seul instrument, opérer un nettoyage com plot de la bouche. A cet effet, on utilise une brosse formée de la combinaison du dispositif des fig. 1 et 2 ou des fig. 3 et 4 avec une brosse ordinaire; un exemple de réalisation est visible fig. 5. La brosse comporte, à l'ex trémité du manche opposée aux touffes 4 ee 5, une touffe 6 disposée à la manière ordinaire sur une platine située dans le prolongement du manche, cette dernière touffe étant desti née au nettoyage des faces externes des dents..
Il est bien entendu que l'invention n'est pas strictement limitée aux exemples repré sentés aux dessins. C'est ainsi que les pla tines décalées peuvent être réunies d'une fa çon quelconque au manche et ce dernier peut affecter toute section convenable, rectangu laire, oblongue ou circulaire, de même qu'il peut être exécuté en n'importe quelle matière celluloïd, gélatine, os, métal, etc. Enfin, au lieu d'être fixées à demeure sur le côté du manche, les platines peuvent être assujetties au moyen d'un montage amovible.
