Abstract

The brush has a brushing body (1`) which is provided with filament, spikes, fingers or pins (2) disposed on a surface of the brush, and that is connected to a handle (3). Articulated parts (4) are provided, where each has filament, spikes, fingers or pins (5) that are identical or not with those equipping the brushing body. The parts (4) are connected to corresponding edges of the body.

Description

DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to the field of accessories for hairdressing, in particular tools for the treatment and work of hair, including brushes, and relates to such a hair brush provided with articulated parts.

Currently, hairbrushes, generally used in the field of hairdressing or privately, are in the form of elongated elements having a constant width or not and provided on at least one side of filaments, pins, fingers or pins.

These known brushes generally make it possible to correctly perform styling and / or disentangling work, as well as application and maintenance of the hair during so-called "blow-drying" operations.

However, these known brushes have the disadvantage, when they are of relatively large width, not to allow an application of all these filaments, pins, fingers or pins on the scalp, so that the edges, in particular longitudinal, are relatively less effective in retaining and shaving the hair during styling operations. Indeed, because of the curvature of the skull, the edges of a brush, of relatively large size and having a flat shape, can no longer allow contact of the filaments, pins, fingers or pins present near these edges with the leather scalp.

The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages by providing a hairbrush to ensure application on the scalp filaments, pins, fingers or pins arranged near its edges, particularly near its longitudinal edges, simultaneously with the application of the filaments, pins, fingers or pins in the middle portion of this brush.

For this purpose, the brush according to the invention is characterized in that it is provided with articulated parts each provided with filaments, pins, fingers or pins identical or not to those fitted to said brush.

The invention will be better understood, thanks to the following description, which relates to a preferred embodiment, given by way of non-limiting example, and explained with reference to the appended schematic drawing, in which: FIG. a plan view of a brush according to the invention, and Figure 2 is a sectional view along AA of Figure 1.

Figure 1 of the accompanying drawing shows a hairbrush 1 5 constituted by a brushing body 1 ', which is provided with filaments, pins, fingers or pins 2 arranged over its entire surface and which is connected to a handle 3 .

According to the invention, this brush is provided on the edges of its brushing body 1 ', articulated parts 4 each provided with filaments, pins, fingers or pins 5 identical or not to those fitted to said body 1' brushing. The articulated parts 4 are advantageously connected to the corresponding edges of the brushing body 1 'by means of elements in the form of elastic hinges 6, preferably in the form of film hinges. It is also possible to connect the articulated portions 4 to the body 1 'of brushing by hinges integral with said hinged portions 4 and cooperating with means for receiving, snap or otherwise, the body 1' brushing.

Thus, the articulated parts 4 can pivot, elastically, along the hinges 6 and allow movement of the filaments, pins, fingers or pins 5 when applied to the scalp to the application of filaments, pins, fingers or 2 brushing body pins 1 on the scalp.

As is more particularly apparent from FIG. 2 of the appended drawing, in the non-use position of the brush 1, the articulated parts 4 are advantageously arranged with a slight inclination with respect to the brush body 1 ', so that the ends their filaments, pins, fingers or pins 5 extend below the level of the filaments, pins, fingers or pins 2 of said brush body 1 '. As a result, thanks to the flexibility and the shape memory of the hinges 6 forming the joints of the parts 4 on the brush body 1 ', the stretching of the hair can be accompanied by a reversible solicitation of the one or the other articulation 6 and a corresponding movement of the articulated parts 4.

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, not shown in the accompanying drawings, it is also possible to arrange the articulated parts 4 in alignment with the brush body 1 ', their filaments, pins, fingers or pins 5 then having a length greater than that of the filaments, pins, fingers or pins 2 of said brush body 1 '. In such a case, the articulation of the parts 4 on the brush body 1 'will allow upward tilting of said parts 4, when the filaments, pins, fingers or pins 5 come into contact with the scalp, until that the filaments, pins, fingers or pins 2 of said brush body 1 'in turn touch the scalp.

Preferably, the articulated portions 4 are two in number and extend parallel to the longitudinal axis of the brush 1, along its longitudinal edges. However, it is also conceivable to provide more than two articulated parts 4, for example one or more articulated parts 4 complementary, especially at the distal end of the brush.

According to another embodiment of the invention, not shown in the accompanying drawings, the brush body 1 can be mounted on the handle 3, in an articulated manner, via a peripheral support frame that can simultaneously serve as support to the hinged portions 4, these hinged portions 4 being also disposed within said frame of the peripheral support. In such a case, the brushing body 1 'is mounted on the frame of the peripheral support by means of elastic hinges, in a manner identical to that of mounting the articulated parts 4.

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, shown in Figures 1 and 2 of the accompanying drawing in gray, at least the brush body 1 'of the brush may be provided with elements 7 in the form of thin blades, longer length or less important, extending transversely over at least a portion of the brush body 1 '. These blade-shaped elements 7 are made of a flexible material, in particular a synthetic material, and are preferably integrated in the brush body 1 ', between the filaments, pins, fingers or pins 2 during the production by molding of the brush 1.

Such blades 7 allow, depending on their flexibility, a hair disentangling or a scalp massage. For use only in disentangling, the blades 7 will advantageously relatively flexible, while for use in massage, these blades will have greater flexibility.

Thanks to the invention, it is possible to produce a hairbrush allowing, thanks to its articulated parts 4, an adaptation to the curves of the surfaces to be brushed and a more efficient use of the filaments, pins, fingers or pins 2 which it is equipped with .

Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown in the accompanying drawing. Modifications are possible, particularly from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without departing from the scope of the invention.
