Cooking and heating apparatus for liquid fuels. The subject of the invention is a cooking and heating apparatus for liquid fuels, in which the burner is connected to two liquid containers for different volatile fuels, so that the burner is initially heated up to sufficient heating for operation with less volatile fuel with the more volatile fuel can be operated.
On the drawing, which represents an execution example of the subject invention. Fig. 1 is a side view of the same, Fig. 2 is a front view of the box with the liquid containers, Fig. 3 is a vertical section through part of the box on a larger scale, Fig. 4 is a vertical section through the burner, 5 shows a cross section through a connection line to the burner, dominated by two valve taps, along line VV in FIG. 6,
and FIG. 6 is a vertical section through a locking device. The frame 1 of the illustrated, drawn punching and heating apparatus carries a gas 3 above the stove top 2, which is divided into a smaller compartment 5 and a larger compartment 6 by a partition 4. Each of these Abtei lungs is used to hold a liquid container 7, z. B. for gasoline, respectively. 8, e.g. B. for petrol and has at its bottom a recess 9 on which a fuel line 10 BEZW. 11 is connected.
Each of the containers 7 and 8 carries a shut-off valve 12, 13 whose end body 13 is stuck on a continuous ver tical spindle 13 'and is pressed by a coil spring 14 downwards. At the lower end of the spindle 13 'carries a transverse rod 15. When inserting the container 7 bezw. 8 irr the guests 3, the rod 15 hits the bottom of the recess 9 Ver before the container comes to rest on the bottom of the box 3.
When further lowering the container 7, respectively. 8, the closing body 13 is lifted from its seat 12, the valve 12, 13 is opened so that liquid from the container 7, respectively. 8 down into the associated line 10, respectively. 11 drains. On the front of the apparatus, the lines 10 and 11 rise and are each connected by a nipple 16 and a nut 17 to the common housing 18 of a two valve taps 19 and 20 having shut-off device.
Both valve outlet openings open into a common outlet hollow space 21 of which a sloping line 22, the lower end of which opens into a groove of a foot ring 23 of a carburetor burner. On the foot ring 23, the carburetor basket 24 of the burner is removable bar.
The apparatus described is started up by opening the tap 19, which controls the gasoline supply, so that gasoline first flows into the ring 23, in which it is ignited. The gasoline immediately creates a hot flame and heats the burner. If the burner is heated sufficiently, the cock 20 is opened, which controls, for example, the supply of petroleum. The two taps 19 and 20 are arranged so close to one another that when the sneer 20 is fully opened, one involuntarily bumps into the tap 19 and is reminded that it is to be closed.
Of course, other liquid fuels such. B. Spirit and petrol or heavy oil can be used. Since the mouths of the lines 10 and 11 in the containers 7 and 8 are higher than the shut-off device, these lines are constantly filled with fuel. The flame can therefore not flash back into the liquid container and cause the same to explode. In the case of the apparatus described, the heating of the burner is done by pouring the volatile fuel into a bowl underneath it, and thus also the inadequacies, inconveniences and dangers associated with putting the apparatus into operation.
If the device is used for heating, a heat exchange jacket can be placed over the burner.
