Description
'Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues Kondensationsprodukt erhält, wenn man in Gegenwart von Schwefelsäure Akrolein auf Pyren einwirken lässt. Statt Akrolein ist es zweckmässig, Verbindungen zu verwenden, die, wie Glycel-in, unter den Kondensations bedingungen in Akrolein übergehen können.
Die neue Verbindung, die zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen verwendet werden soll, kri stallisiert in braungelben Nadeln, sublimiert unzersetzt und schmilzt nach vorherigem Dunkeln bei etwa 2430. Sie löst sich leicht in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure gelbrot mit roter Fluoreszenz.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 25 Teile Pyren werden mit 750 Teilen Schwefelsäure von 62 B6 und 50 Teilen Glycerin auf<B>1000</B> ei-wärmt, bis alles Pyren verschwunden ist. Die grüne Lösung wird dann in Wasser eingetragen, der Nieder schlag mit verdünnter Natronlauge ausge kocht und das gelbe Rohprodukt durch LTm- kristallisieren, zum Beispiel aus Eisessig, gereinigt.
Process for the production of a condensation product. It has been found that a new condensation product is obtained if acrolein is allowed to act on pyrene in the presence of sulfuric acid. Instead of acrolein, it is advisable to use compounds which, like glycel-in, can transform into acrolein under the condensation conditions.
The new compound, which is to be used for the production of dyes, crystallizes in brown-yellow needles, sublimes undecomposed and melts after prior darkening at about 2430. It dissolves easily in concentrated sulfuric acid yellow-red with red fluorescence.
<I> Example: </I> 25 parts of pyrene are egg-heated with 750 parts of sulfuric acid from 62 B6 and 50 parts of glycerine to <B> 1000 </B> until all of the pyrene has disappeared. The green solution is then introduced into water, the precipitate is boiled out with dilute sodium hydroxide solution and the yellow crude product is purified by crystallization, for example from glacial acetic acid.
