Feedback mesh tube circuit. In the claim of the main patent, a circuit for amplifying vibrations is characterized, in which the output circuit is de-attenuated by feedback to an electrode that is different from the control grid. In particular, the main patent Ausführungsbei games using a tube with a cathode and four grids arranged between an outer most electrode and the cathode are specified, the grid initially lying on the cathode being used as a control electrode and decoupled from the other electrodes by a screen grid .
A demodulation of the vibrations fed to the control grid can be carried out in the same tube according to these exemplary embodiments, either by bringing about an anode rectification between the fourth grid and the outermost electrode through a suitable selection of the coupling means and operating voltage, or a grid rectification takes place on the fourth grid.
The subject of the present invention is a further advantageous embodiment of the circuit characterized in the claim of the main patent using a tube with four grid electrodes, where the demodulation of the vibrations imposed on the control grid and amplified in the tube is carried out by means of a separate detector and the low frequency obtained in this way for amplification is fed to the same tube.
According to the invention, the vibrations of the input circuit of the said discharge vessel are also fed to the grid lying next to the cathode, while the grid that follows serves as a shielding electrode; In the circuit of the third grid there is an oscillating circuit which is tuned to the input oscillations and whose alternating voltage is fed to a special rectifier for the purpose of demodulation. The feedback oscillations taken from the high-frequency output circuit are fed to a grating other than the three just mentioned.
The low frequency obtained in the rectifier is fed to the fourth grid after at least partial cleaning of high-frequency components and increased from the anode circuit. The high-frequency feedback expediently takes place between the third and fourth grids.
The advantages of the invention are in particular that you now gain complete freedom in the dimensioning of the voltage to be applied to the fourth grid, while rend in the above-mentioned exemplary embodiments of the main patent is restricted in this regard that the fourth grid simultaneously must be used for rectification and feedback and the optimal implementation of each of these two functions requires a different bias. As a result, one was forced to find compromise solutions which were not entirely satisfactory.
In order to bring the subject matter of the invention closer to understanding, an embodiment of the same is provided in the drawing. In this, 1 means a tube with an indirectly heated cathode 2, four grid electrodes 3 to 6 and an anode 7. The cathode 2 contains a heating element 8, the heating current of which is taken via a transformer 9 from the terminals 10, 10 'of an alternating current network. The vibrations picked up by the antenna 11 are fed via a coupling coil 12 to the input circuit 13, the alternating voltage of which is applied between the cathode 2 and the innermost grid 3 of the tube 1, which is negatively biased by the battery 14.
The second grid 4 is designed as a screen grid and is located at a tap on the anode voltage source 15; In order to keep the screen grid at cathode potential in terms of high frequency, the blocking capacitor 16 is provided in a known manner. In the circuit of the third grid 5 there is an oscillating circuit 17 tuned to the input shaft. The alternating voltage occurring at this is fed to a two-electrode rectifier (diode) 18 via a block capacitance 19.
In the resistor 20 then forms the low-frequency voltage won by demodulation of the high-frequency input oscillation, which is fed to the fourth grid 6 via a filter chain consisting of the resistor 21 and the capacitance 22. The feedback required for undamping the resonance circuit 17 is produced between the third and fourth grids by the coil 23 selected accordingly. The low-frequency alternating voltage is amplified in the tube 1 and taken from the anode circuit via a transformer 24.
The playback device or a downstream low-frequency amplifier can be connected to terminals 25, 25 '.
