Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Farbstoffes der Anthracenr eihe. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Farbstoffes der Anthracenreihe, welches dadurch ge kennzeichnet ist, dass man den Leukoschwe- felsäureester aus 2-Amidoanthrachinon-3- äthyIsulfon in alkalischem Medium mit Blei superoxyd oxydiert.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 50 Gewichtsteile Dikaliumsalz des aus 2-Acetylamidoanthrachinon-3-äthylsulfon dar gestellten Leukoschwefelsäureesters werden in 500 Gewichtsteilen Wasser gelöst. Nach Zusatz von 20 Gewichtsteilen Ätzkali erhitzt man auf etwa<B>900,</B> bis die Abspaltung der Acetylgruppe erfolgt ist.
Dann werden 140 (xewichtsteile einer Bleisuperoxydpasta von 50 % zugesetzt und das Ganze etwa 2 Stun- den auf 70-80 erhitzt. Nach dem Erkalten wird abgesaugt und der Rückstand mit heissem Wasser ausgezogen.
Das aus dem Filtrat durch Aussalzen mit Kaliumchlorid abgeschiedene, bisher noch nicht bekannte Leukoestersalz bildet orangefarbene Kristalle, die sich in Wasser mit intensiv gelber Farbe lösen. Durch saure Oxydation wird ein grün- stichiges Blau erhalten von vermutlich fol gender Konstitution

The subject of the present patent is a process for the preparation of a dye of the anthracene series, which is characterized in that the leuco-sulfuric acid ester from 2-amidoanthraquinone-3-ethy-sulfone is oxidized in an alkaline medium with lead superoxide.
<I> Example: </I> 50 parts by weight of the dipotassium salt of the leuco-sulfuric acid ester made from 2-acetylamidoanthraquinone-3-ethylsulfone are dissolved in 500 parts by weight of water. After adding 20 parts by weight of caustic potash, the mixture is heated to about 900 until the acetyl group has been split off.
Then 140 parts by weight of a lead peroxide paste of 50% are added and the whole is heated to 70-80 for about 2 hours. After cooling, it is suctioned off and the residue is extracted with hot water.
The previously unknown leuco ester salt separated from the filtrate by salting out with potassium chloride forms orange-colored crystals which dissolve in water with an intense yellow color. Acid oxidation gives a greenish blue, presumably of the following constitution
