Bei der Einstel lung des Schalters f entsprechend den aus gezogenen Linien sind die Heizwiderstände a, b parallel zwischen die Aussenleiter B, S geschaltet;
es besteht somit .stärkste Be- heizung.
Electrically heated device for cooking, frying, baking and the like. There are devices for cooking, Bra th, brooks and the like are known which can continuously absorb a large amount of energy, for example 22 em heating plates, which can be continuously loaded with about 3000 watts. With these, a sufficiently fast heating can be achieved with the highest level of normal switching. However, there is then the disadvantage that these devices cannot easily be adjusted to sufficient power for practical use.
For example, a 22 cm heating plate with 3000 watts of additional power only has three levels of 3000, 1500 and 750 watts. -Hit. The 3000 watt setting allows the plate to heat up relatively quickly, but the smallest setting of 750 watts is still much too big for continued cooking.
In order to enable the desired regulation of the watt consumption in such cases without the aid of a transformer, i.e. on the one hand a watt consumption corresponding to the nominal power for heating up and, if necessary, the strongest heating levels available, on the other hand with a relatively high level low consumption, i.e. to be able to continue cooking without wasting electricity, thirds are provided in the device according to the invention, through which:
the resistors and their control switch can be connected to a 1Vlehrleiternetz, for example between two phases or between a phase and the neutral conductor, that they are either at nominal voltage or at a lower voltage. Switching from one voltage to the other can be effected by means of a thermostat.
In the drawing, two execution examples of the invention: are shown.
In the device according to FIG. 1, the two heating resistors a: and U can be switched in a manner known per se by means of a switch c in parallel or in series or also individually between the outer conductor B and the neutral conductor 0. Between the switch c and the heating resistors the two-pole changeover switch f is also net angeord through which the stimulus resistors can be switched in parallel between the phase lines B and S '.
When setting the switch f according to the solid lines, the heating resistors a, b are connected in parallel between the outer conductors B, S;
there is thus .powerful heating. If the switch f is moved to the position of the two dotted lines, then only the voltage between the phase conductor P and the neutral conductor 0 is used for heating, and that is then the grouping of the heating resistors a., B, which of the current setting: of control switch c
This transfer of the switch f into the dotted position is done by the thermostat d, as soon as the heating plate has reached the desired temperature, the heating period is thus ended. The thermostat can be heated directly from the heating plate. But you can also switch it on in the power line.
So that the triggering always occurs in all circumstances when the heating device reaches the maximum temperature, thermostats are used, which have the same heating characteristics as the radiators.
With the A s c 'haltuno, e, of the thermostat in the supply line, it is advisable to place a thermostat in the circuit of a resistor b and a second in the line, which from the switch f to the connection point of the two resistors a and b leads,
since then at least one of the thermostats is always preheated in the same way as the heating device.
If the lines B, AS 'and 0 belong to a four-wire three-phase network with a voltage of 380 volts between the phase conductors and a voltage of 220 volts between a phase conductor and the neutral conductor, and it is again a hotplate with a maximum power of 3000 Watt, the following levels are possible with the arrangement shown; 3000 watts, 1500 watts, 1000 watts, 750 watts, 500 watts and 250 watts.
You will practically forego some of the intermediate stages and adapt the device to the stages 3000, 1500, 1000, 250 watts.
Fig. 2 shows the installation of a switch Tc before the switch c. With the help of this switch lc, the resistors can either between the outer conductors R and S or the outer conductor de ', and. the neutral 0 must be switched. In this case, too, an automatic switchover can be made by means of a thermostat, timer or the like.
