Device for cleaning the refrigerant in airtight refrigeration machines. In airtight refrigeration machines, small amounts of lubricant may constantly mix with the refrigerant. In the long run, this would not only lead to contamination of the heat transfer surfaces, but also emptying the machine rooms, which have to be filled with lubricant.
The present invention enables the disadvantages to be eliminated. The inven tion relates to a device for cleaning the refrigerant in airtight refrigeration machines with the characteristic that a small controllable partial flow is continuously removed from the impure liquid refrigerant in the main evaporator and fed to an auxiliary evaporator under evaporative pressure, where the extracted partial flow is heated is brought to evaporation. The heating can be carried out in various ways, as well as the automatic draining of the residue in the auxiliary evaporator.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown cally. Let 1 be the shell of a completely closed refrigeration machine in cross-section, 2 the compressor and 3 the associated transmission. This machine group 2 and 3 is arranged on transverse support 4, under which the condenser 5 with heat exchanger 6 and main evaporator 7 with heat exchanger 8 are both closed separately. The condenser cooling water enters at 9 and exits at 10 and the brine enters at 11 and exits at 12.
A circulation pump, not shown in the drawing, promotes liquid refrigerant from the lower part of the evaporator through pipe 13 after the spray nozzle 14 to the sprinkling of the heat exchanger B. This circulation results in an advantageous heat exchange. In addition to the closed jacket of the main evaporator is the steamer 7 connected by pipe 15 with tap 16 to the Hauptver, specially provided auxiliary evaporator 17. It could also be arranged at a suitable location in the main evaporator.
A small partial flow of the impure, liquid refrigerant is taken from the pipe 13 ent through tube 18, cock 19, and ge into the auxiliary evaporator 17, the amount of this liquid being controlled by a float valve 20, 21. When a certain liquid level is reached with the auxiliary evaporator, the float valve closes the flow. The heating of the auxiliary evaporator can expediently be operated with part of the brine which is used as a cooling medium and which is to be cooled in any case; this part of the brine flows through line 22, tube bundle 23 and line 24. The device could also be designed so that the auxiliary evaporator can be heated by the entire brine to be cooled.
The liquid supply line 18 and the vapor discharge line 15 can be closed from the outside by the valves 16, 19, so that by increasing the heating of the residual liquid, it is also counteracted by external pressure, for example into the atmosphere or, for example, if it consists of lubricant Any point of higher pressure (gearbox) can be conveyed into the airtight closed refrigeration machine. The heating in the auxiliary evaporator can be increased, for example, by supplying the condenser coolant through line 25 after the tube bundle 23 or by supplying the warm lubricating oil to the main machine through line 26 can be achieved.
After releasing heat, the lubricating oil returns from the tube bundle 23 through the line 28 back into the main engine.
The mode of operation of the auxiliary evaporator is such that continuously impure refrigerant is evaporated, the impurities, in particular oil, remaining in the auxiliary evaporator, while the steam escapes through line 15 into the main evaporator 7 again. Since refrigerant and lubricating oil have different specific weights and the refrigerant (spec. Weight r = 1.4) is heavier than the lubricating oil (r = 0.9), the residual liquid occurs in the auxiliary evaporator as the oil thickens respectively the impurities have a decrease in the specific weight, which has the consequence that the float ball 21 no longer floats at the same height,
but dips deeper into the liquid in the long run; the penetration of the ball 21 into the liquid also results in a slow raising of the liquid level. The floating ball 21 is designed as an aerometer. The immersion depth of the float ball 21 can be read through a sight glass 29. But the height of the liquid level, wel che can be read on a scale on the sight glass 29, is a measure of the specific weight of the liquid.
If this specific weight has reached a certain value and if, for example, almost pure 01 is present, then this must be conveyed out and possibly returned to the gearbox. For this purpose, the valves 16 and 19 are first closed; then condenser outlet cooling water is passed through line 25 via three-way valve 30 through heating bundle 23 and discharged again through three-way valve 31 and line 32.
The significantly higher temperature generates a higher vapor pressure, so that the liquid in the auxiliary evaporator can be returned to its destination, for example for shaft bearings, via tap 33 and line 34. The residual liquid could of course also be discharged into the open via tap 35 and line 36.
The above-mentioned taps can also be opened and closed automatically, for example as a function of the oil level in the auxiliary evaporator, but manual operation is generally preferred. After draining is complete, the taps 16, 19, 30, 31 and 33 respectively. 35 so that the cleaning of the cold can be started again by means of.
