Description

Soot, ash, sparks and dust traps for chimneys. The present invention relates to a catcher for catching soot, ash, sparks and dust before they leave the chimney. The soot, ashes, sparks and dust are caught by the subject matter of the invention by moistening these bodies with water, causing them to fall down with the water, the same if the distributor is placed in a catcher placed on the chimney to collect themselves in a channel conveniently arranged on its inner wall, in order to reach the earth from here advantageously in a pipe.

The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, with FIG. 1 being a section through the catcher placed on the chimney a, FIG. 2 the distributor in itself in section and FIG. 3 the catcher with distributor in FIG Floor plan shows. The pressurized water comes through the pipe b that is raised inside the chimney to the water distributor d, from which it is spread out in the shape of a disk.

from it is spread out in a disc shape. The soot, ash, sparks and dust trap is placed on the chimney a, - the water passes through the pipe b into the distributor d, through its opening i es emerges laterally in the form of a disk (veil), where it blocks the outlet opening of the chimney for solid parts and thereby catches the soot, ashes, sparks and dust that have been taken along. After hitting the inner wall of the cylinder k, the water falls into the ring-shaped channel f and passes down through the drainage pipe e.

With the screws n you can adjust the gap opening i of the distributor larger or smaller. The water distributor d consists of two parts which are held at an adjustable distance from one another by means of the pipe b and the screws n.
