Bogie for rail vehicles with single axle drive.
The invention relates to a bogie for rail vehicles with a hollow shaft single axle drive by motors fixedly mounted in the vehicle frame, consisting of a drive axle and a running axle in a common frame and with a pivot pin in between.
In order to be able to easily expand the drive motor downwards in such bogies after lowering the drive axle without dismantling the bogie, according to the invention the end of the bogie frame containing the drive axle bearing guides is designed as a fork which engages around the drive wheels and is supported on the vehicle frame.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in FIGS. 1 and 2 in a view and plan on a bogie with a hollow shaft drive by two motors.
The vehicle frame in which the drive motors bi, ba are firmly mounted is denoted by a. The double housing enclosing the motors encompasses the hollow shaft o with a pawl and is releasably connected to the vehicle frame at points cz, cz.
The bogie d has the running axis e and the drive axis f, and is rotatable about the pin g on the vehicle frame. The drive axle is driven by the motors through gear transmission via the hollow axle o by a coupling which is known per se and is movable in all directions. The frame of the bogie is designed as a fork at the end of the drive axle bearing guides tra lowing, as can be seen in Fig. 2. The fork ends pi, ps are suspended from the vehicle frame by handlebars h in order to make the unsprung masses as small as possible. The handlebars h can be designed to be elastic or resilient in order to enable the fork to be suspended upwards and downwards within certain limits.
The pivot pins of the handlebars are expediently attached to the vehicle frame. and attached to the bogie frame that the center lines of the pins intersect in the vehicle's longitudinal axis at the pivot point of the bogie. In order to relieve the bogie of the drive axle pressures, the drive axle is supported against the support springs k arranged on the vehicle frame via pins i guided vertically in the bogie frame d. In order to allow a certain Seitenmobillickeit between the pin i and the spring k, a support socket m with sliding block is placed between the two.
In order to limit the lateral deflection of the suspension springs k, the collars are provided with lateral guides n. The transmission of the axle pressure of the Laufachee to the aircraft frame is expediently carried out by a spherical support pin above the center of the Laufachee. In this way it is achieved that the forked end of the bogie frame is relieved of vertical bending forces. After removing the drive axis of the bogie and after loosening the connections cl, c2, both motors bj, b2 in their common housing can conveniently be removed downwards through the correspondingly wide open fork of the bogie and used again.
