Newspaper for gases and liquids. Hoses, including metal hoses, have the good property that they are very flexible and can also be used, for example, by dentists and doctors for introducing gases and liquids into the mouth, etc. The hoses, which are usually made of rubber, rubberized braid, etc., or are sealed with such materials in the case of metal hoses, are now not usable for certain gases and liquids, as the latter have a damaging effect on rubber, etc.
Uncoiled tubes, even if made from soft metal, tin, copper, etc., are too stiff. If they are used for medical purposes, for example, these tubes make it difficult to guide the instruments by hand during medical treatment.
The subject matter of the present invention is a flexible line for gases and liquids which attack hose material such as rubber and the like, which combines the advantages of both types of line without their disadvantages occurring. The invention is characterized by a tube made of a material that cannot be attacked by the gases and liquids and is laid at least in places in turns which allow the line to be bent like a hose. If the turns are helical, the diameter of the turns can be chosen arbitrarily, it will generally be dependent on the diameter and the wall thickness of the pipe. The mobility of the pipe is increased as the number of turns increases.
Extension pieces can then be screwed or otherwise detachably arranged or soldered onto the ends of the pipe. The pipe itself is not subjected to excessive stresses during winding, so that, with suitable measures and the correct choice of the diameter of the windings, cracking of the pipe walls during winding is excluded. The tube can be coiled like a coil spring. Instead, one or more turns can be provided in the tube at regular, not too great intervals.
The tube can be used, for example, to deliver ozone into body cavities, root canals, fistulas, etc. In this case it consists of a material that cannot be attacked by ozone.
The pipe can be provided with a cover made of rubber, braid, etc. A coating made of a structured metal pipe shell not only offers excellent protection, but also increases the mobility of the entire line in a favorable sense.
