Packungsschnur aus Asbest, Baumwolle o. dgl. für biegsame Metallrohre. Die Erfindung betrifft eine aus Asbest, Baumwolle o. dgl. hergestellte Packungsschnur für biegsame Metallrohre und kennzeichnet sich dadurch, daß die Schnur mit einem undurchdringlichen Stoff, z. B. einem tierischen Gewebe (Darin), überzogen ist, damit durch einen solchen Überzug Flüssigkeiten, wie z. B. Petroleum, Alkohol o. dgl., keinen. schädlichen Einfluß auf die Asbestschnur ausüben können. Die Pakkungsschnur kommt insbesondere zur Abdichtung biegsamer Rohrleitungen in Frage, welche Alkohol, Petroleum und andere Öle führen. Bisher konnten derartige Stoffe nicht in bieg rainen Rohrleitungen gefördert werden, da die Packung zum Abdichten der einzelnen Rohr elemente nur aus Kautschuk, Asbest oder 2:hn lichein Material bestand und Petroleum bzw.
