Einrichtung an Zentr alheizungskesseln.
Fig. 1 zeigt einen vertikalen Schnitt durch eine Einrichtung nach der Erfindung, bestehend aus, dem Füllschacht samt Rost, der an den Feuerraum angeschoben ist; Fig. 2 zeigt einen Füllschacht mit anderer Verbindung mit dem Feuerraum;
Bunkers an..
Fig. 5 ersichtlich ist.
Installation on central heating boilers. As is known, central heating boilers, for example articulated boilers, can only be heated with coke, mainly because this fuel burns almost smokelessly due to the lack of volatile components. It was found, however, that such fireplaces can also be filled with other fuels, for example lignite or briquettes, which have a significant proportion of volatile components, through appropriate structural measures.
In the case of central heating systems, the boiler is heated up and, as soon as a corresponding embers are present, a nominal light of fuel is piled up at a height of about 1 to 11 <a m. The fuel stacked on top of the embers is gradually distilled until the top layer starts to glow. Once this has been achieved, a new layer of fuel is applied; this process is repeated throughout the heating season.
With the existing central heating boilers, the hot gases cool down on the freshly laid throat layer, on the ribs or boiler walls, and condensed tar vapors separate out in the form of soot. If the fuel contains a significant proportion of volatile substances, there is also heavy smoke formation, which prompts the authorities to intervene.
In addition, deposits form on the boiler walls, which cause poor heat transfer, where neither the hot water heating nor the low-pressure heating is brought to the perfection that meets the legitimate requirements.
The invention now relates to a device on central heating boilers, which it makes it possible to burn fuels with volatile loading, in particular lignite briquettes as smoke-free as possible.
According to the invention, this is done in that a furnace with a filling shaft is arranged in front of the boiler. The furnace expediently has one.
3 parts existing grate whose. The first almost vertical part is conveniently fixed, while the second inclined part is conveniently pivotable about a true-to-scale axis so that the filling shaft can be locked downwards and the third, true-to-scale part is expediently designed as a tiltable slag and ash grate.
Furthermore, the filling shaft.: Of the grate and: of the combustion chamber are expediently designed in such a way that @: the requirements for complete combustion are particularly taken into account, taking into account the properties of the fuel.
In .den drawings Ausführungsbei are shown games of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through a device according to the invention, consisting of, the filling shaft including grate, which is pushed onto the furnace; Fig. 2 shows a hopper with a different connection to the furnace;
3 and 4 show, in mutually perpendicular vertical sections, an embodiment of the filling chute for the purpose of being able to burn not only the solid products but also the gases that have been generated by the distillation, including the equipment to prevent! that: the fuel .tight against: the wall of the shaft.
In addition, these figures show a special design in their lower part: the real part of the grate; Fig. 5 shows a section along the line x-x in Fig. 3; 6, 7, 8 and 9 each show a grate bar of the weight-real grate part of FIGS. 3, 4 in four different positions.
In Fig. 1, the furnace is arranged to be mobile. 1 shows the hopper that: is closed by a rotatable plate 2 upwards. In its middle part at 3 of the hopper is bricked out with fireclay and has a jacket 4, which can be made of masonry. The grate consists of the almost vertical, fixed part 5, which serves as a sliding grate and can therefore also be a plate without openings Publ.
The second part 6 of the grate is arched and can be pivoted upwards about the pivot point 7, so that in the position shown in broken lines it closes the filling chute downwards. This grate part 6 is pivoted: by means of a suitable rod 8 by means of a cable drive, the cable being guided over: the rollers 9 and 10. At 11 there is a counterweight in order to be able to operate the grate without any significant effort.
Of course, the grate part 6 can also be used in other ways, for example. be rotated as in Fig. 2 by a chain drive. The: third grate part 12 is trained and is true to scale, is used to hold the slag and the ash, for the removal of which it can be tilted and fixed by a rack 13. The furnace is made mobile by the wheels 14.
The furnace can either be built in front of an existing central heating boiler or provided for new systems. The combustion gases pass through the combustion chamber, which is divided by Schamottewän.de 15, heating up these walls. The fireclay walls can be provided with channels not indicated in the drawing, into which secondary air is introduced. This air is heated by the heat stored in the fireclay walls and the combustion gases are mixed, ignited and burned with this preheated air when they change direction.
A further advantage can be achieved by arranging a retaining wall 16 (FIG. 2) made of refractory material behind the grate, through which the cross-section narrows, with a trough-shaped widening 17 behind the retaining wall for: the development of the flame from the existing cross-section.
Through .the dam wall, the gases are forced to adopt a high speed, see above. that an intimate mixing of the not yet burned gases with the air takes place. The widening of the fireclay channel at 17 has the consequence that, due to the large fireclay surface, a lot of heat is stored at this point, so that the parts that have not yet been burned must be completely burned.
In FIG. 2, a further improvement is achieved in that a row of openings is provided in the vaulted ceiling 18, which adjoins the grate, through which the flame passes like a burner and the gases sweep upwards where they can then escape through the exhaust channels 20. This achieves a high level of heating of the vaulted ceiling. The formation of a dead corner, which is not swept by the gases, is reduced by arranging this opening.
Using the facility is about easy. On the grate parts 5, 6 and 12 wood wool, paper or shavings are ignited and a certain amount of fuel is placed. If the fire is going on, the hopper 1 is filled with briquettes or the like. The propagation of the fire upwards goes by the mass forward, into which the withdrawing gases are burned.
There. on: the grate parts 5 and 6 are burned as is customary with economical furnaces and the hot gases no longer penetrate the coal layer and do not come into contact with the cold boiler walls, 1011dern with the highly heated fireclay walls 15 (Fig. 1) respectively. the vaulted ceiling 18 (Fig. 2), it is clear that the gases cannot be cooled, but burn completely and without smoke.
If the combustion on the grate parts 5 and 6 has progressed so far that slag and ash has formed on the grate part 12, then the grate part 6 is folded upwards, whereby the hopper closes off downwards. After deslagging, the shut-off grate 6 is returned to its original position, so that the combustion process continues.
It has been shown that: The total grain density of the combustion of gas-rich fuel can be increased if the individual grate parts do not have the same cross-section at all points for the combustion air to pass through to the fuel, but a gradation is provided in the manner that the largest cross-section is close to the apex of the curve according to which the grate is curved. Such a curved grate is shown in FIG. The apex is approximately at point 2'1, where the device for pivoting grate part 6 engages.
The combustion is most perfect when the largest free cross-section for the combustion air is arranged next to this apex. The slots for the passage of the combustion air into the fuel are, for example, 10 mm wide in the lower part of the grate part 6, 5 mm in the middle part and only 2 mm in the uppermost part.
Similarly, the free cross-section of the air passage openings on the other side of the apex 21 in the horizontal part 12 of the grate decreases, so that its left-hand part is approximately. still has a slot width of 10 mm and the width of the slots decreases to 4 mm to the right.
This measure has the effect that the fuel that is sliding downwards gradually gasifies until it reaches the wide slits near the apex 21, t, where vigorous combustion t then takes place . This also prevents a flame from flashing back when the shaft door 2 is opened and gases from escaping.
By means of these and the other measures shown in Fig. 2, it was possible to increase the carbonic acid content of the combustion gases drawn off from a central heating boiler from about 5 to 12%, thus to bring about a much more complete utilization of the fuel and completely avoid annoying smoke development .
In Figs. 3, 4, 5 a design of the hopper is shown, which made light to use the carbonization gases rich fuels in the furnace, and a design of the walls of the shaft, such as the grate part 12, which is to prevent that the solid fuel: lies tightly against the walls and bakes onto the fireclay lining of the furnace.
If gas-rich fuels are introduced into the filling shaft, a distillation takes place there, especially if the fuel layer in the filling shaft is very high. The distillation products collect at the highest point of the filling shaft or the one above it. Bunkers on ..
This results when air enters; too small egplo @ sions. In order to avoid this and in addition to the solid fuels also: to burn the gases that were created by the distillation is close to the top of the fuel injection opening at 29 a pipe 30 is connected that goes vertically downwards and opens into the furnace at 31 above the grate 12.
At 32 a number of interchangeable ble sieves are built into the pipeline, which, as is the case with mine lamps and the like, prevent backfire and puffing. So that the solid fuel in the filling shaft does not lie tightly against the walls of the shaft and a solid bridge is not formed in the fuel due to the excretion of tar, which prevents the smoke from being drawn off, the filling shaft is lined with rib walls 28, as in particular from . Fig. 5 can be seen.
This lining is conveniently made of metal, for example cast iron, Herge provides. The caking of the fuel on the fireclay lining of the furnace is, as can be seen from Fig. 3 and 4, prevented that the horizontal grate part 12 on both sides and backwards by standing grate bars 22 respectively. 23 is completed.
The fuel lies: after all, not. on a fireclay lining, which would make air access more difficult, but on these grate bars 22 and 23, which prevent the fuel from sticking to the fireclay lining.
Each plan grate bar of the grate part 12 continues to receive a movement in the vertical direction and a longitudinal displacement with respect to the adjacent bar, so that the gaps between the bars do not get stuck with slag and the ashes easily fall through. will be brought. For this purpose, the horizontal grate bars 12a, as can be seen from FIGS. 6, 7, 8 and 9, are provided with square openings 24. Through this Publ openings an approximately square cam shaft 25 engages through, on the so. many cams 26 are placed, as grate bars 12a of the grate part 12 are present.
These cams are offset from one another in such a way that, for example: the uneven grate bars are provided with cams pointing in the same direction, while the straight grate bars are provided with about about. Are offset by <B> 90 '</B>. The grate rods 12a rest on one side on a shaft 27 and on the other side on the cam 26.
If: the camshaft is rotated in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 6 to 9), then the rotation from the position Fig. 6 to the position Fig. 7 corresponds to a shift of the grate bar to the right, with further rotation in .die position 8 shows a lifting of the grate bar, when rotated into the position according to FIG. 9, a shift of the grate bar to the left and, when rotated further by 90, a return to the position according to FIG. 6.
Because two grate bars located next to each other perform the same movements at different times, the slag that has accumulated on the grate surface is broken and the ash encourages diarrhea. The camshaft can either receive a few revolutions by hand in certain periods of time, for example two to three revolutions per hour, or this can also be done automatically by means of known devices, such as time relays, so that when boiler batteries are set up simultaneous rotation of the camshaft of all furnaces is possible.
