  Der neue     Farbstoff    der Formel:

    stellt ein rotviolettes Pulver dar, das sich in  konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blaugrüner  Farbe löst und Baumwolle aus gelbgefärbter       Küpe    in hervorragend echten, reinen, rot  violetten Tönen färbt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  212,5 Teile     7-Chlor-4.6-dimethyl-3-oxy-          thionaphten    und 330,5 Teile     2-(p-Dimethyl-          amino-)anil    des     5-Chlor-7-methyl-3-oxythio-          naphtens    werden mit 4000     Volurnteilen    Eis-         essig    auf dem Wasserbade erhitzt, bis die  Kondensation beendigt ist.
