Device dispensing of water in certain quantities, especially for concrete mixers. The present invention relates to a device for dispensing water in certain quantities, in particular for concrete mixing machines, and is characterized in that the one end of a drain pipe opening into a vessel to be filled before each removal can be adjusted in height by the respective flow rate to be able to adjust at will.
Thanks to this arrangement, the swimmers present in known devices of this type are no longer available. Since this swimmer always gives rise to disturbances, the present invention, the sen known constructions compared to a significant advance is achieved. In addition, the complicated lever arrangements required for the Schwimmerkon structures are also completely eliminated.
In the device according to the invention, a common pipe, in which a three-way valve is installed to control the water flow, is expediently used to fill the water into the vessel, as well as to drain the same from the vessel, for example into the mixing drum of the concrete mixer.
Furthermore, the drain pipe is preferably designed so that it protrudes into the water vessel in the form of a pipe bend with a rotatable pipe part, a rotatable bolt fixed at one end in this pipe part serving to adjust the latter, which protrudes from the vessel at the other end and carries a rotary lever.
To allow the air to escape when the vessel is filled, a vent valve is expediently attached to the upper part of the same, which valve closes automatically when the water tank is full.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is Darge, namely shows: Fig. 1, the device in vertical section, and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same. 1 is the water tank, 2a, 2b the discharge pipe, consisting of an outer pipe elbow 2a with a flange 3 for fastening to the container 1, and an inner pipe elbow 2b, which with its end 4 on the correspondingly formed end 5 of the pipe elbow 2a is rotatably mounted.
The pipe bend 2b has a neck 6 with a square bore and the other pipe bend 2a has a neck 7 with a circular bore, on which last terem a disc 8 provided with a scale is attached. In these two bores, a bolt 9 is mounted, which is formed from a square at the end seated in the extension 6, so that when the bolt 9 is rotated, the pipe bend 2b is also rotated. At the other, outer end, the bolt 9 carries a rotary lever 10 designed as a setting pointer for rotating the bolt 9.
To hold the pipe bends 2a, 2b and the setting pointer 10 together, the bolt 9 is provided at both ends with threaded nuts and washers. The sealing of the bolt passage through the pipe bend 2a is carried out by a stuffing box 11.
A vent valve 16 is also attached to the upper part of the container 1, the mode of operation of which is explained below.
A three-way valve of known construction, built into the elbow 2a, is used to control the water flow. The horizontal dash-dotted line 12a is intended to indicate one and the vertical dash-dotted line 12n the second working position of the actuating lever 12 of the three-way valve. The position 12a corresponds to the working position of the tap shown in Fig. 2, in which the connection between the water container 1 and,
Nozzle 13 for the mixer drum not shown, the concrete mixer is made.
By switching the lever 12 from the position 12a to the position 12b according to the direction of the arrow 15, as can be seen from the drawing, this connection after the mixing drum is shut off and at the same time the connection between the connection piece 14 of the water supply line (not shown) and the water tank 1 to Fill the latter made.
The mode of operation of the device shown is as follows: To fill the container 1, the actuating lever 12 of the three-way valve is brought into position 12b, so that the water from the supply line is free in the direction of arrow 17, through the three-way valve and the pipe 2a, 2b in the container 1 can flow, the air contained in the container escaping through the vent valve 1,6. When the water container 1 is full, the vent valve closes automatically.
If a certain amount of water is now to be diverted into the mixing drum of the concrete mixer, the pipe bend 2b is first turned by means of the rotary lever 10 and bolt 9 until the pipe above the free end of the pipe bend 2b or drain pipe is in the water tank What water volume corresponds to the required flow rate.
For this purpose, the scale of the disc 8 is divided in such a way that it directly indicates the respective flow rate for each rotary position of the pipe bend 2b and the setting pointer 10.
In Fig. 2, for example, four Stel lungs I, II, III and IV of the elbow 2b are indicated. The position I at which the end of the drain pipe is the lowest in the vessel corresponds to the maximum flow rate, which means almost the full content of the water tank. The setting pointer 10 is positioned above the largest number 60 on the scale. In position IV, the discharge pipe is rotated by <B> 180 '</B> compared to position I.
The confluence of the drainage pipe is almost in the highest part of the vessel, so that the corresponding flow rate is zero, so to speak. II and III are two intermediate positions between the maximum and the minimum flow rate.
After the required flow rate has been set, the three-way tap is switched from working position 12b to 12a so that the water container can empty into the mixing drum until the water level has reached the confluence of the drainage pipe. After switching the three-way cock from position 12a to position 12h, the vessel is refilled in the manner indicated above, and the same is ready for dispensing again.
In the device described there are no parts, in particular no floats, which could give rise to malfunctions. A simple, solid and reliable construction is thus achieved. If the same amount of water is to be dispensed for a longer period of time, after setting the rotary lever to the required flow rate, only one actuation of the three-way handle is necessary to dispense or dispense water. to effect the filling of the vessel.
