Winding device for timepiece. The object of the present invention is a winding device for a timepiece. This device is characterized in that it has, between the barrel shaft and the next mobile of the drive train of this shaft, a drive device comprising a resilient part secured to this rotating shaft and acting by pressure. elastic on this mobile.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example; two embodiments of the object of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is an axial vertical section of the first embodiment and FIG. 2 a corresponding section of the second embodiment.
In the first embodiment, 1 is the barrel shaft to which is fixed one of the ends of the mainspring, not shown, the other end of which actuates the barrel drum. Above the bridge 2, the barrel shaft has a part with a square cross section 3, a cylindrical part 4, and again a part with a square cross section 5, of low height. On the cylindrical part 4, the toothed wheel 6 rotates freely, connected by a gear train either to a crown, for winding by hand, or to an oscillating weight, for the purpose of automatic winding. The wheel 6 is held in place by a plate 7 engaged, by means of a square hole, on part 5 of the ball shaft, and by a screw 8 screwed into the latter and whose head presses on the plate.
As the latter rotates with the barrel shaft, there is no risk of screw 8 unscrewing, which could well be the case if the head of the latter pressed directly on wheel 6. 9 is an elastic strip, the middle part of which has a square hole, through which it is engaged on the square part 3 of the barrel shaft, and the ends of which bear resiliently against the underside of the wheel 6. A pawl, not shown, prevents the barrel shaft to turn in the opposite direction to the winding direction.
Conversely, the wheel 6 will drive this shaft by means of the blade 9 as long as the friction between this wheel and this blade is greater than the tension of the spring; when this is no longer the case, the barrel shaft and the blade will remain stationary, even when the wheel 6 is turning.
Because the blade 9 is mounted directly on the barrel shaft, the path it will have to travel in a given time will be relatively short, much more than if it were, for example, adjacent to the oscillating mass of the cylinder. automatic winder. The force that it will have to exert on the wheel 6 will, on the other hand, be relatively large, which is an advantage, because this blade will thus be less sensitive to small variations in force in the operation of the oscillating mass or in the movement of the hand which turns the crown of the usual winding mechanism.
The embodiment of FIG. 2 differs from the previous one in that the lamella is replaced by a plate 10, curved in the shape of a cup, the central part of which has a square through which it engages on part 3 of the barrel shaft and of which the edge 11 bears elastically against a friction plate 12, mounted on the square 3, so as to be able to slide, and coming to bear, by its upper face, against the lower face of the toothed wheel 6. Thanks to the friction plate , the friction surface is increased and the pressure of the elastic part is better distributed over the entire surface of the wheel 6.
As already stated, the above-mentioned device can be used either on a hand winder or on an automatic winder. It can also be used on timepieces equipped with both a hand winder and an automatic winder, for example on a timepiece such as that described in Swiss Patent No. 157995. In In this case, the pawl 9 of the toothed wheel 4 can be replaced by the above-described device, the pawl 8 of the toothed wheel 6 being able to remain or also be replaced by the above-described device.
