Dans la forme d'exécution représentée, le boîtier 1 de la montre, avec son cadran ho raire 2 et un verre de protection de celui-ci, présente l'aspect général d'un parallélépipède droit. Ce boîtier 1 est articulé par l'intermé diaire d'un axe 3, sur une pièce 4. Cette pièce 4 est elle-même articulée sur un cadre 6 au tour d'un axe 5.
Le cadre 6, qui est relié, à la manière or dinaire à un bracelet, est monté au poignet de l'usager qui peut, comme indiqué ci-après, déplacer le bo44tier 1 relativement au cadre 6, de manière à lui faire occuper, soit la posi tion représentée à la fig. 1 dans laquelle le cadran 2 est apparent, soit la position repré sentée à la fig. 2, dans laquelle le cadran 2 est dissimulé par retournement du boîtier dont le dos apparaît alors à la partie supérieure. Dans ces deux positions, représentées aux <U>fi-.</U> 1 et 2, le boîtier 1 est encastré dans le cadre 6.
Pour effectuer le retournement du boî tier, on procède de la façon suivante: on dé gage le boîtier 1 du cadre 6 par rotation au tour de l'axe 5, comme représenté à la fig. 3, pour le placer perpendiculairement à c@ ca dre, puis on fait subir à ce boîtier une rota tion de n autour de l'axe 4, comme indiqué à la fig. 4, et enfin, par une rotation autour de l'axe 5, en sens inverse de celle indiquée à la fig. 3, on emboîte à nouveau le boîtier dans le cadre 6.
