Deckelabdichtungseinrichtung an Reisekoffern. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Dek- kelabdichtungseinrichtung an Reisekoffern, die sich von bekannten Einrichtungen da durch unterscheidet, dass sie keinerlei kom plizierte Ausbuchtungen noch sonst. stark aufliegendes, noch vorstehendes und infolge dessen leicht zu beschädigendes Material auf zuweisen braucht.
Die teilweise gezeichnete Dichtungsein richtung stellt ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dar.
Es bezeichnen: RA einen Anticorrodal- oder Messingrahmen mit Rinnen, W einen Antieorrodal- oder Messingwinkel, GE2 einen Gummieinlagestreifen, 2 mm breit, GE4 einen Gummieinlagestreifen, 4 mm breit, Sch, und<I>N</I> Schrauben und Nieten. Die eine Behälterkante ist bezeichnet mit BK, die eine Deckelkante mit<I>DK,</I> die eine Rinne für die Behälterkante ist bezeichnet mit<I>UR,</I> die an dere Rinne für die Deckelkante,

Seine untere Rinne UR dient zum Schutze der Behälterkanten und ist, den Behälter kanten entlang, mit einem 2 mm dicken Gummistreifen GE2 ausgelegt. Er ist mit- telst Versenkschrauben Sch, sowie mittelst Nieten N in gleichmässigen Abständen von je zirka 12 cm auf der Behälterwand be festigt.
Der in den Ecken in Gehrung geschnit tene Metallrahmen ist an den Kofferecken mit gleichmetalligen, massiven Winkeln W überkleidet. Der ringsum gut und lückenlos befestigte Rahmen ist in seiner obern, oder Aufnahmerinne<I>AR</I> mit dem 4 mm breiten Gummistreifen GE'4 ausgelegt und ist damit zur Aufnahme der, durch diese Gunimiiso- lierang des Rahmens gegen Stoss und Schlag geschützten Deckelkanten 1)K bereit.
Die lückenlose, stabile und gutisolierte Überkleidung der Behälterkanten DK durch den Metallrahmen RA und dessen extrastark durch Gummi isolierte, tiefe Aufnahmerinne für die Deckelkanten DK, sowie auch die massive Winkelbildung an den Ecken des Koffers, bewirken nun eine absolut einwand freie Dichtung gegen Staub und Nässe. Sie schützen ferner die Behälter- und Deckel kanten vor Beschädigung durch Stoss und Schlag und verhindern ein Verziehen und da durch ungenügendes Schliessen der gegenein ander zu pressenden Kante infolge Einwir kung äussrer Einflüsse.
Am geschlossenen Koffer ist von der gan- zeü Dichtungseinrichtung nur der flachauf liegende Aussenteil des Metallrahmens sicht bar, welcher fast nicht beschädigt werden kann, so, dass eine Verminderung der Dich tungsfähigkeit nicht in Frage kommt.
Ein weiterer, ganz bemerkenswerter Vor teil des Erfindungsgegenstandes besteht darin, dass, gegenüber bekannten Vorrich tungen, hier ein Minimum von Schlössern und Schliessen erforderlich ist, was eine be deutend raschere und einfachere Handhabung des Koffers ermöglicht.

On the closed case, only the flat outer part of the metal frame of the entire sealing device is visible, which can hardly be damaged, so that a reduction in the sealing ability is out of the question.
Another very noteworthy part of the subject invention is that, compared to known Vorrich lines, a minimum of locks and locks is required here, which enables a significantly faster and easier handling of the case.
