14lontre-savonnette.
14 against-soap. The main patent relates to a soap watch established in such a way that the movements of the cover produce a re-assembly of the spring of the barrel.
In one embodiment described, taking a pawl, connected to. a slide moving during the opening and closing of the cover, it has been provided, in order to prevent the winding of the spring of the barrel beyond a given limit, a spring whose tension is adjustable and intended to act on the pawl, so as to allow it to jump on the teeth of the ratchet when the latter opposes a given resistance. This arrangement has the drawback of rapid and great wear of the pawl and the teeth of the rock.
To remedy this drawback, it is provided, according to the present invention, that the movements of the slide, moving during the opening and closing of the cover key, arm an elastic part through the intermediary of a member which 'it bears, this part being disarmed by acting, in view of the reassembly, on a pawl engaged with the wheel. rock used for winding the spring of the ball, provided that it is not opposed to the movement of the pawl a force greater than the winding force which is communicated to it by said elastic part.
The drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. The case a, comprising a caseband b of rectangular shape and a bottom c, further comprises a slide not shown and moving in the direction of arrow F to each lid opening movement. This slide carries a pin 7, normally occupying the position shown in solid lines, while it occupies the position 7 ',, re shown in broken lines, when the slide was pushed during the opening of the cover.
Springs, also not shown, return the slide and, consequently, the pin 7 to their initial position, when action is stopped on the cover and it closes. At 8 is shown the ratchet wheel through which the re-assembly of the barrel spring is carried out; the other parts of the watch movement have not been shown.
On the back of the watch and by means of a screw 9 around which it pivots, is fixed a lever 10 carrying at its free end the pawl 11, free to oscillate, but that the action of a spring 12 tends to apply against the ratchet wheel 8, so that these two members are always properly engaged.
An elastic part, that is to say a leaf spring 13 fixed by means of a screw 14 in a groove of a support 15 of the watch, presses against the lever 10, so as to give it the tendency to s 'press itself against the pin 7 mentioned above. The movements of this pin will therefore communicate with the lever 10 and cause it to oscillate against the action of the elastic part 13. The position of these various members, when the. pin 7 is at 7 ', has been shown in broken lines.
The device works as follows: By opening the cover, the pin 7 is moved in 7 'and the lever 10, the pawl 11 and the spring 13 are placed in 10', 11 'and 13'. In doing so, the pawl will have jumped a few teeth of the ratchet 8 under the action of the spring 12.
When, by closing the cover, the pin 7 returns to its original position, the lever 10 is abandoned to the action of the spring 13, which will cause it to oscillate until it rests against the pin 7, thus driving the pawl from position 11 'to position 11 and thus causing rotation of the ratchet wheel 8 in the winding direction.
The previously described action of the spring 13 which, previously armed, is disarmed by winding up the barrel spring, can obviously only take place insofar as the effort to be provided for this reassembly is less than the force. that the spring 13 communicates to the lever 10. If it is equal to or greater than it, the members 10, 11, 13 will remain in the position 10 ', 11', 13 'until the spring comes out of the barrel. sufficiently disarmed, reassembly can then be carried out again. At this time, the aforementioned bodies will resume their original position by themselves.
It is obvious that the tension of the barrel spring at which the winding ceases will therefore depend on the force exerted by the spring 13, which force can be modified by moving this spring in the slide of the member 15 of the tine to maintain it. , the screw 14 allowing it to be locked in the desired position.
