Description

montre.

watch. The invention relates to a watch in which a part of the watch case is movable around an axis and can occupy an inclined position, such as to serve as a leg to allow the use of the watch as an easel watch. or clock, and ca ractérisée in that this movable part is at the same time the protective cover of the watch glass.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof, partially in section; fig. 2 is a side view; fig. 3 is a section taken along line II-II of FIG. 1; FIG. 4 shows the cover raised to allow the time to be read; fig. 5 shows it in the position where it serves as a leg for the watch, for the -de use of the latter as an easel watch.

The cover 1 of the box 2 has lugs 3 through which the pins 4 pass. These lugs have a generally square profile, against the sides on which the pads 5, guided in the cells 6, and actuated, come to rest. by the resources 7. FIG. 3, shows how the tampons 5 keep the cover 1 folded over the watch glass, resting against the side 8 of the ears 3.

If the cover 1 is raised in the direction of the arrow 11 by 90, the buffers 5 coming to rest against the side 9 of the ears, will keep the cover 1 in the position it occupies in fig. 4. If the rotational movement of the cover continues in the same direction, the pads 5 will come into contact with the sides 10 and they will keep the cover 1 in the position it occupies in fig. 5, and which is the one where it will serve as a leg - for the watch, if it is used as an easel or clock.

The ears 3 of the cover 1 could affect a profile other than that shown. They could have a hexagonal, or octagonal, or even dodecagonal, or finally circular profile; what. this amounts to saying that in this way, depending on the profile given to the ears, the cover can be stopped by the buffers at. springs 5 in a greater or lesser number of positions, or even simply to slow down its rotational movement, in order to prevent it from falling again on its own.
