Bringt. man.
Ein Waschprozess erfordert also mindestens vier Spülungen.
Die gezeich- nete Maschine dient nun dazu, den beschrie benen Wasthpro-zess möglichst automatisch auszuführen. Man hat nur nötig, den Was serhahn h durch den Hebel g zu öffnen unn ,die Maschine besorgt, wie vorstehend näher beschrieben ist, das Anlassen der Wasehtroin- mel automatisch mit Hilfe des Schwimmers u;
IVaschmaschiue with automatic control of the inlet and outlet valves and automatic start and stop device for the washing drum. The invention relates to a washing machine with automatic control of the inlet and outlet valves and automatic starting and stopping device for the washing drum and the characteristics of this machine are that through a water container provided with a bottom opening,
which is arranged under an overflow pipe attached to the washing drum, at least one water inlet valve and one outlet valve are controlled in opposite directions, while a float automatically switches the belt switch of the back gear on and off. the washing drum starts and stops automatically.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is illustrated, for example, namely represent Fig. 1, the entire washing system, Fig. 2, the switching device of the belt men drive.
In the vertical cylinder a, which is open at the bottom, close to the _N, \ pocket drum b, . The water vessel d. This vessel is connected to the threaded levers g of the water inlet valves h by means of the ropes or chains e in such a way that in the lower position of the vessel d the levers g are down and the valves hg 'are closed, but in the upper position of the vessel the levers are up and the valves are open.
One valve 1 @ is for cold water, while the other is for hot water. When a valve h. Is opened, for which the corresponding lever g is turned upwards, the vessel d is lifted. When the water container d is pulled up, the connecting orifice of the closed valve h makes a curve.
The weight-loaded lever i of the drain valve k, which is arranged as a smooth slide valve and is arranged in the drain line c, is connected to the vessel d by a cord 7a running over the roller f 1, which the lever i in the lower position of the vessel d up, the valve k keeps open.
Two stop lugs o are attached to the guide rails l of the body d and hold the vessel d in a specific upper position. In order to relieve the chains e in the lower position of the vessel d and also not to burden the levers g, a connector y is attached to the bridge z on which the chains e hang, which when the vessel sinks onto the Crossbar 7n hits the upper end of the cylinder a, which at the same time limits the height of fall of the vessel. An overflow pipe p opens into the vessel d, as a result of which the water from the drum flows off into the vessel d at a certain level.
The vessel d itself has a small opening q on the bottom so that the vessel can empty itself.
If the water has drained from drum b through line c and from vessel d, when a valve h is opened by hand, this vessel d is opened by lever g pulled up and held firmly in this position by the friction of the valve designed as a cock h, which is known to: a rotation opposes a certain resistance; the fresh water then runs through the pipe r into the drum b. When the water container d is pulled up, the lever i of the drain valve k, which is provided with a displaceable weight, will itself actively move downwards and the valve k - will close.
The fresh water rises higher and higher in the drum, up to the height of the pipe p; it then flows through this overflow pipe into the vessel d held in the upper end position, as described above. That now with. The water-filled vessel d sinks downwards and at the same time pulls the lever g of the previously opened valve h downwards, whereby the water flow to the drum b is blocked and the relevant valve ic is closed. As a result of the downward movement: of the vessel d, the lever i is pulled up and the A'flow valve k is opened.
So water can flow out of the drum b again. The water also flows out of the vessel d through the appropriately held opening and is then pulled up again by hand, as a result of which the processes described are repeated periodically.
Of course, the water vessel d only needs to be pulled up here with a valve lever g. Also, the water vessel d pulled up and depressed or directly by hand. the drain valve k can be closed and opened, which is necessary when filling the detergent solution, without the two water inlet valves h. need to be opened.
With the drum b is on the right side a second cylinder s through the pipe line t in connection, in which a shut-off and a drain valve are provided. In the cylinder s there is a swimmer-u, which moves up or down with the water level in the drum b.
The float zt carries a vertical rod z at the top, which by means of a lateral pin w engages the longitudinal slot of the one-armed lever x. This lever x is firmly connected to the start and stop lever 2 by a short shaft 7 (Fig. 2). The reversing lever 9 can be rotated about the axis 11, is articulated to the belt fork rod 1 \ 3 at the top and is provided with a pin 13 at the bottom.
With one idle disk, a chain raid 14 is coupled, which is connected by a chain 15 to a Ket tenrad 16, the shaft of which carries a worm 6 which cooperates with a worm wheel 5. A crank disk 17 sits on the worm wheel shaft, the connecting rod 4 of which hangs in the middle of its cranked end part on a rod 3 which, on the other hand, is attached to the start and stop lever \? is hinged by means of bolt 18.
This bolt is supported in a longitudinal slot in the rod 3 and the latter is provided for the purpose of yielding the rod 3 when the rod 4 is switched on. The pin 13 lies within the crank of the connecting rod 4, so that the reversing lever 9 is taken along by the reciprocating connecting rod 4 and thereby the belts alternately reach the fixed pulley in the middle.
Since one belt is twisted, the drum is rotated alternately to the left and right. Brings. man If the connecting rod 4 is out of engagement with the pin 13 of the reversing lever 9, only the connecting rod 4 moves, while the reversing lever 9 remains stationary.
By the float ac and: the associated start and shut-off lever 2, the conversion of the connecting rod 4 is itself active and inevitably effected. When the float ic is raised, the start and stop lever 2 is lifted, whereby the rod 3 and the connecting rod 4 lower themselves and take the reversing lever 9 with them.
When the float u sinks, the lever 2 returns to its horizontal position and the rod 3 pulls the crank rod 4 up so far that it no longer comes into contact with the pin 13 of the lever 9. The lever 9 remains in its central position.
If there is no water in drum b, the reversal is also out of order. With the help of the two taps: the line t you can cause the float u to fall or rise and thereby switch the control on or off.
The application of the drawn machine is as follows: The laundry is first pre-rinsed with cold water and the water is drained off again. Then the laundry in the drum is washed with a lye for about 30 minutes and boiled, after which the lye is drained. Well must. the laundry in the drum is rinsed hot once and cold twice, whereby the rinse water is drained off each time. A washing process therefore requires at least four rinses.
The machine shown now serves to carry out the described waste process as automatically as possible. You only need to open the water tap h with the lever g, the machine, as described in more detail above, starts the washing drum automatically with the help of the float u;
it also automatically closes the opened water valve 7t and in the same way opens the shut-off valve i through the water g (# 1'äss d, that with the overflow pipe p </ I If the drum U is emptied, the washing drum is switched off automatically by the provided float at, which at the same time ends a rinsing process.
It is pointed out. that the valves do not need to be operated both at the same time, and the levers can be weighted #scin to support the removal of the former.
