Spool tube for cross-wound bobbins. The present invention is a further embodiment of the bobbin case according to the claim of the main patent. What is new is that organs are provided which allow the side panels to be fastened precisely centrally and firmly on the latter, even if the diameter of the paper tubes deviates.
In the accompanying drawings, some exemplary embodiments are shown schematically, namely: Fig. 1 is a section through the side disk with inserted sleeve according to the first embodiment, Fig. 2 is a section along the line 9.-B @ of Fig. 1, Fig. 3-9 each show a further Ausfüh approximately form in axial section.
The side panel 4 (Fig. 1-6) is provided with an inner sleeve 2 which is concentric to the hollow hub 3 of the side panel 4. In the annular space between the hub 3 and the sleeve 2 is now a ge at the free end slotted spring sleeve is arranged, and that this is on the sleeve 2 exaggerated well fitting. The parts of the spring sleeve formed by the slots 5 spring outward and lay resiliently against the inner wall of the paper tube 6. As a result, the latter is held even if it would not fit snugly against the inner wall of the hub 3 and would not be held well enough by the latter.
The resilient sleeve is particularly important when the paper sleeve, as indicated in FIG. 1, can no longer be inserted into the annular space between the hub 3 and the sleeve 2. The paper sleeve is then held exactly centrally only by the resilient tongues of the sleeve, while the end of the paper sleeve rests against the disc wall. This case always occurs when the paper tube is wound close to the outer edge who should. The spring sleeve is detachable. Ribs are inserted through small bores 7 on the end wall of the side window and the spring sleeve can thereby be pushed off from the bush 2. The spring sleeve can therefore be used together with existing Be tenscheiben to hold paper tubes of abnormal size.
The shape of the spring sleeve can also be shown as in FIG. 3. In this implementation, the outwardly protruding flange 8 of the spring sleeve, Fig. 1. The spring sleeve is shorter than that of Fig. 1 and 2. By forming the recesses 9, 10 and 11, Fig. 3, 4 and 5, can the spring can be regulated within wide limits by virtue of the outer resilient legs.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, the resilient sleeve is closed cylindrically at both ends, but has outwardly curved tongues 11 formed by slots 10 'between the ends and extending over a greater distance place well fitting on the inside of the paper tube 6 and hold the latter in place.
Resilient brass or any other material can be used as the material for the spring sleeve.
If the differences between paper tube and hub diameter are smaller, an embodiment according to FIGS. 7-9 can be selected.
7 and 8, the Mantelflä surface 12 of the hub is conical and provided with a sharp-edged thread. However, as FIG. 8 shows, the inner wall 13 of the side panel could also be provided with a thread. In both cases the paper tube is held well by the thread.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 9, the disk 14 is separate from the guide 15; the latter has a guide bushing 16 which protrudes into the interior of the paper tube 6 and is provided with a thread on the outside. The thread runs conically and is driven into the paper tube 6, the wall of the tube 6 being pushed outward and pressed against the cylindrical shoulder 17 of the disk 14. As a result, a wedge effect is enough and sleeve 6 and disc 14 are firmly connected.
The bobbin reaches a high speed when the thread is drawn off quickly. As a result of the inertia, it continues to run even when the pull on the thread stops or subsides. In order to prevent the thread from unwinding in this case or to keep it as small as possible, the side windows can be equipped with wings that act as air brakes. For this purpose, thin-walled vanes 18, which are provided with openings, are provided on the hub of the side disk. The wings lie in the agial plane of the coil; they could also be slanted to it. The openings can be of any size.
These wings oppose the running of the coil on the mandrel, a resistance that can be changed within very wide limits by the size and number of the wings and the size and shape of the openings. The wings could also, as Fig. 8 shows, be provided on a special brake ring 19 which sits easily rotatable on the Spin del and which is releasably coupled to the side disc with teeth 20 or other drivers.
