Description

  

  Verfahren     zur    Darstellung eines     güpenfarbstoifes.       Im Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zur  Darstellung eines Chlor und Brom enthalten  den     Küpenfarbstoffes    beschrieben, bei dein  1     Mol.        Isodibenzanthron    in Gegenwart von       Chlorsulfonsäure    und von Katalysatoren mit  mindestens einem halben     Mol.    eines     bromie-          renden    Mittels behandelt wird.  



  Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man eben  falls einen wertvollen     Küpenfarbstoff    erhält,  wenn man 1     Mol.        Dibenzanthron    in saurem  Medium in Gegenwart einer Metallverbindung  mit mindestens     1/s        Mol.    eines     bromierend     wirkenden Mittels behandelt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff, ein     Monobromdibenz-          anthron,    löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefel  säure mit violetter Farbe, liefert eine blau  violette     Küpe,    aus der Baumwolle in dunkel  blauen Tönen gefärbt wird.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  46 Teile reines     Dibenzanthron    werden in       4$0    Teilen     Chlorsulfonsäure    gelöst. Nach Zu-         gabe    von 1,2 Teilen Mangan und 9 Teilen  Brom erhöht man die     Temperatur    auf 25  bis 30   C und rührt dabei so lange, bis alles  Brom aufgenommen ist. Nach dem Erkalten  verdünnt man mit     konzentrierter    Schwefel  säure, giesst in Wasser und saugt ab.  



  Statt Mangan können auch andere Me  talle oder Metallverbindungen, z. B. von Queck  silber, Arsen, Wismut oder Eisen oder deren  Verbindungen, angewandt werden.  



  Die Reaktion kann auch bei tieferer Tem  peratur, z. B. bei - 5 bis 0   C durchge  führt werden.

Der neue Farbstoff, ein Monobroindibenz- anthron, löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefel säure mit violetter Farbe, liefert eine blau- violette Küpe, aus der Baumwolle in dunkel blauen Tönen gefärbt wird.
