Hydraulisehe Ventilsteuerung.
Hydraulic valve control. The invention relates to a hy draulic valve control, in particular for piston engines, in which a control cylinder of the valve is alternately connected to a control fluid pump and an outlet by a control slide. According to the invention, the delivery speed of the pump delivering the control fluid is greatest at the valve opening. This pump can be driven by the machine to be controlled itself and can execute a delivery pulse for each valve opening.
The drawing shows, as an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, a controller for an inlet valve of a steam engine schematically.
The piston, not shown, in the cylinder 1 of the steam engine transfers the work to the piston rod 2, the cross head 3 and the push rod 4, which in turn drives the crank 5 of the crankshaft 6 in the direction of the arrow. A bevel gear 7 is keyed onto the crankshaft 6 and engages in a bevel gear 9 seated on the control shaft 8 and drives the control shaft in the direction indicated by the arrow. The control shaft 8 drives the piston pump 11, the speed controller 12 and the fluid control device 13, which pumps the control fluid through an eccentric 10. which controls the inlet valve 14 of the steam engine.
Instead of the piston pump 11, a vane pump could of course also be used.
The piston 17 of the pump 11, moved by the eccentric 10 by means of the push rod 18, sucks the control fluid through the Sang valve 15 into the cylinder 16 and then pushes it through the pressure valve 19 into the pressure line 20 Another machine, not shown, is driven, and a liquid reservoir 22 is closed, through which the control liquid is pressed under the power piston 27 of the valve 14 at increased speed. The liquid reservoir 22 has a piston 23 which is loaded by the 24 Fe.
When the pressure in the line 20 exceeds a certain permissible level, the piston 23 is pressed down to the extent that it exposes the drain opening 25 and allows the excess control fluid to flow out. If there is no pressure in the line 20, the piston 23 sits on the stop 26.
The slide 28 in the slide cylinder 29 connects the line 20 with the line 31 leading to the control cylinder 30 of the valve 14 to open the valve 14 and the line 31 with the outlet channel 32 to close the valve 14. The control slide 28 is driven by the on the Control shaft 8 wedged on eccentric 34 by means of lever 35. This is connected on the one hand by the push rod 36 to the control slide 28 and on the other hand by means of a joint 42 to the regulating lever 37.
The regulating lever is rotatable about a fixed axis 38 and by means of a link 39 which engages the joint 43 of the regulating lever 37, connected to the angle lever 40 which engages in the sleeve 41 of the regulator 12.
The operation of the valve control is. the following: For starting the steam engine, the auxiliary pump 21 first promotes control fluid into the line 20, with an all due excess can escape through the opening 25 of the liquid reservoir 22 as soon as the piston 28 exposes this opening.
During normal operation, the auxiliary fluid pump 21 is stopped and the pump 11 takes over the delivery of the control fluid in such a way that the delivery intermittently during half a revolution of the control shaft according to a sine curve and during the other half revolution no delivery takes place at all.
The drive eccentric 10 of the liquid pump 11 is wedged onto the control shaft 8 so that the piston 17 is in the middle of its delivery stroke, i.e. at the greatest speed when the control slide 28 loops the controlling edge of the line 20 to open it. What is achieved thereby is that the control fluid for opening the inlet valve 14 is supplied to the inlet valve 14 at the highest conveying speed, thereby achieving rapid opening of the inlet valve and thus precise control of the steam engine. becomes.
While the inlet valve 14 is closed, the pump 11 either only delivers at a low speed, which means that the memory 22 is refilled, or not at all. This choice of the wedge angle of pumps and control eccentrics 10 and 34 means a reduction in the work to be expended by the pump 11, which work can instead be usefully delivered by the machine shaft 6.
When the control slide 28 is in the position shown by the dashed line, the liquid pumped by the liquid pump 11 flows together with the liquid stored in the memory 22 under the piston 27 of the valve 14, lifts it from its seat 49 and opens the valve from the inlet Line 50 entering steam the way to the cylinder 1. As soon as the lower part of the slide 28 releases the discharge line 32 (drawn from position) and the liquid located under the piston 27 can flow, the valve 14 is closed under the pressure of the spring 48 .
The filling of the machine is determined by the speed regulator 12, the sleeve 41 of which moves to the right when the speed is increased and to the left when the speed is decreased. If the speed increases, the angle lever 37 will approach the position indicated by the line a, in which the slide 23 no longer establishes a connection between the lines 20 and 31, so that the inlet valve 14 is no longer opened.
As the speed decreases, the lever 37 approaches the position indicated by the line b, in which the central position of the slide 28 in the cylinder 29 is highest, whereby the opening time for the line 20 and thus for the inlet valve 14 is increased. At the same time, the highest slide position will take place at an ever later point in time, so that the point in time at which the valve starts to open always coincides with the pre-opening position of the steam engine.
The outlet valves of a steam engine can also be controlled in the same way. The opening times of the outlet valves can be controlled depending on the outlet pressure of the steam engine by adjusting the central position of the control slide using a pressure regulator that is influenced by the counterpressure.
The control slide, control fluid reservoir and the regulator, as well as the control fluid pumps, are advantageously combined as a whole or only partially in a single housing in order to obtain a compact design. In special cases it may be advantageous to use several liquid reservoirs for one valve.
