Description
Radiator element for hot water heating. The subject of the present invention is a radiator element for hot water heaters, which is characterized in that its two horizontal narrow sides vertically directed and its two vertical narrow sides horizontally directed connections to enlarge the heating surface both by side by side and by placing elements on top of each other allow.
The accompanying drawing relates to an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. .
Fig. 1 shows a radiator in which the two same radiator elements are placed on one another, while in the radiator shown in Fig. 2, these two elements are placed next to each other, Fig. 3 is a view of a corner of the imple mentation, and Fig. 4 is a plan view of this corner.
It goes without saying that the two identical elements, which are placed on top of one another in Fig. 1, appear to be arranged next to one another when the pipe strings c are in a horizontal position, while the elements of the radia tor according to FIG. appear to be on top of each other.
The element used to build the radiators shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has eight connections a1, a2, a3, a4 and b1, b2, b3, b4. The first-mentioned connections are set at right angles to the last-mentioned connections and are arranged with respect to the longitudinal strands c and the transverse strands d in such a way that the two horizontal narrow sides of the element have vertically directed connections and the two vertical narrow sides of the same have horizontally directed connections.
As with the radiator according to FIG. 1, two such elements can be placed on top of one another, the connections a1, az, a3, a4 being used, while the connections b1, b2, b3, b4 are closed with a threaded pin.
The connection of the two radiator elements is done by means of the usual threaded sleeves with right and left joints. winch, each of which has a square opening for inserting the wrench. Accordingly, the connections on two opposite sides must also have different threads.
The longitudinal strands c and the cross bars b, which are at right angles to one another, have such a large clearance that the wrench can be inserted through so that the elements can be screwed together.
With the Ra diator shown in Fig. 1, for example, the common heating coils can be replaced. Even with flat radiators installed in window niches, the heating surface can be enlarged in any direction, depending on the local conditions. As can be seen, there is a string of pipes in the extension of each connection.
In the radiator shown in FIG. 2, in contrast to that according to FIG. 1, all connections a1, a2, a3, a4 are put out of operation, whereas connections 6l, 62, b3, b4 are used . The element shown as an embodiment is six-strand. But it is self-evident that it could also have a different number of strands.
