Description

  

  Zusammenstoss-Schutzvorrichtung an Kraftwagen.    Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schutzvor  richtung an Kraftwagen, welche die schwe  ren Folgen von Zusammenstössen ganz besei  tigen oder in vielen Fällen wenigstens zum  grössten Teil dadurch herabmindern kann,  dass sie Mittel aufweist, um die zusammen  stossenden Fahrzeuge seitlich voneinander ab  lenken zu können.    Zu diesem Zweck kann dem in bekann  ter Weise vorn eventuell auch hinten am  Wagen angebrachten Stossfänger zunächst  eine stark gekrümmte, bezw. in der Mitte bis  fast zu einer Spitze auslaufende Grundriss  form gegeben werden. Ausserdem kann der  selbe mit einer Reihe von etwas vorstehen  den Rollkörpern besetzt sein.  



  In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise  Ausführungsform der neuen Vorrichtung  dargestellt, und zwar zeigt:  Fig. 1 den vordern Teil eines Kraft  wagens mit einem stark gekrümmten und mit  Rollen besetzten Stossfänger in Aufsicht;    Fig. 2 zeigt einen Querschnitt durch den  Fänger mit einer Rolle, in stark vergrösser  ter Darstellung, während  Fig. 3 die Vorrichtung in Wirkung beim  Zusammenstoss zweier mit ihr ausgerüsteter  Kraftwagen an einer Strassenkreuzung er  kennen lässt.    Der Stossfänger, welcher stark nach vorn  gebogene Grundrissform hat und eventuell  entgegen der Darstellung in der Zeichnung  in der Mitte, wie oben schon gesagt, sogar  bis fast zu einer Spitze ausgezogen sein kann,  besitzt ein U-Eisen a.

   In diesem Eisen sit  zen leicht drehbar die vorn etwas überstehen  den Rollen h,     eventuell    unter Benutzung von  Kugellagern. Die Rollen     können    auch     nocb,     um ein noch besseres Abgleiten der beiden       zusammenstossenden    Fahrzeuge zu erreichen,  mit einem endlosen Band umzogen werden.  Auch sonst können an Stelle der Rollen  irgend welche gleichwertigen Vorrichtungen  mit Rollkörpern treten, die gleichfalls das      seitliche Abgleiten der zusammenstossenden  Fahrzeuge unterstützen.

UNTERANSPRUCH: Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass der Stossfänger eine in der Mitte stark nach vorn gebogene Grundrissform aufweist und ausserdem mit einer Anzahl von dicht nebeneinander ange ordneten, sowie etwas überstehenden Roll- körpern ausgerüstet ist.
