Description
Schmuckring.
Jewelry ring. The invention relates to a jewelry ring, which consists of a ring body provided with an outer circumferential groove made of gold and a tire made of white precious metal, for example platinum, placed in its groove.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention that can be used as a wedding ring.
Fig. 1 is a side view and Fig. 2 is a cross section of the same.
a is the ring body made of gold, which is provided with a circumferential groove b, and c is a tire made of white noble metal, for example platinum, placed in this groove. The platinum tire c can be blown or cast into the groove b. He should not only see the appearance and increase the value of the ring, but also prevent its wear and tear. The ring body ca can be provided with any decoration on the groove cheeks.
Instead of platinum, another white precious metal, such as white gold, could be used for tire c.
Another advantage of the drawn ring is that the decoration on the sides of the ring is not damaged when making it bigger or smaller, as is the case with the other chased wedding rings.
