Paper bag. The invention relates to a paper bag that opens automatically when it is raised, which is used, for example, to hold food items and the like items of daily necessity for retail sales and the previously usual blowing in and reaching into the bag to keep it open when filling is superfluous. should do.
The invention consists in that a grip strip is arranged on a folded edge which forms a jumping angle with the abutting sides, so that this fold edge comes to rest on an opposite folded edge when the bag is folded, and the two folds on both sides of the folded edges the bag walls are folded along their longitudinal center so that
that the bag opens by itself in a diamond shape when it is lifted on the grip strip and, through its four folds at the front, forms four side walls that stiffen against each other and keep the bag open.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments, namely: FIG. 1 shows a triangular bag open in a diagram, FIG. 2 shows another embodiment in the same representation, FIG. 3 the bag folded from the side, FIG. 4 the same spread apart for lifting from above, FIG. 5 a cross section along the line A-A in FIG.
and FIG. 6 shows a cross section along the line B-B in FIG.
As FIGS. 1 and 2 show, the bag has a grip strip b respectively on the re-entrant folding edge c. b1, which protrudes at the front edge and is produced, for example, in that the two end strips of the paper from which the bag is made are glued to one another and the double-thick strip formed thereby receives a bow c. The grip strip b formed in this way forms a narrow longitudinal wall attached to the front fold c of the bag.
So that this strip is not lost for filling the bag, the grip strip can also be formed in such a way that one end strip d of the piece of paper is folded inwards and the other end strip e is glued onto the inwardly folded end strip d, as in FIG. 2 shows. The grip strip b1 formed in this way has a bow c and is threefold, but it can be opened because only two foils are glued to one another, so that the grip strip b1 is also used for filling the bag.
The grip strip b respectively. b 'forms a handle for lifting or holding the bag. The bag does not open automatically when it is lifted, however, if the bag only has the two front folds a and c, which are opposite one another. According to the invention, the two paper foils lying between the front folds a and c are folded once again, namely outwards along the longitudinal center; so that two more Bugka.ntsn f and g, and between them and the ganten a and c there are four side walls of the bag.
During manufacture, the bag is folded in such a way that the two opposite front edges a and c come to lie on top of one another, like the r'ig. 4 shows, with the side walls located on both sides of these two bow edges around their bow f respectively. g, are folded inwards and the grip strips b respectively. b1 is on top.
When packing the bags, after the front folds a and c have been put together, they are folded over again around these superimposed front folds and thereby put together over a quarter of their wall surface, as shown in FIG. The grip strip b respectively. b 'then lies within the folding bend like a tongue in a beak.
There. In this case, the two folding halves are double-walled and the grip strip lies between them, so you can easily reach between the two folding halves and the grip strip b or. b 'touch. You can easily unfold the two halves in this way and lay them on your back so that the grip strip is on top, as FIG. 4 shows.
If you lift the bag from this position, or also directly from the folded position according to FIG. 5 on the grip strip from the base, the bag opens by itself and because it catches wind and the weight of the paper wall on it acts on it forms a four-cornered or diamond-shaped bag in cross-section, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. You can now grab the bag with your other hand at the lower end and keep it open; white: the hand presses against the four folding edges and the latter stiffen the four walls of the bag against each other.
The arrangement of the bow folds and the grip strip on square bags -). The paper bags is done in an analogous manner.
