Description

  

  Appareil pour massage.    L'objet de la présente invention est un  appareil pour massage constitué par un corps  principal à l'intérieur duquel est placé une  source de chaleur, ledit appareil     comportant     au moins un compartiment auxiliaire amo  vible, destiné à contenir une matière devant  se répandre sur     l'épiderme    du     patient    au  moyen d'orifices, le tout muni d'au moins  une poignée, laquelle entraîne le     corps    prin  cipal par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison élas  tique.  



  Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem  ple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in  vention  La fi-. 1 en est une coupe axiale par  tielle;  Les     fig.    2, 3 et 1 sont respectivement une  coupe transversale, une vue de face et une  vue axiale de la liaison élastique;  La     fig.    5 est une coupe transversale du  corps principal. .  



  A l'intérieur d'un corps principal 1 cy  lindrique comportant un compartiment 2 est  placée une source de chaleur, non repré-         sentée    au dessin. Le compartiment 2 est  fermé à l'une de ses extrémités par une joue  3 ajustée sur une portée circulaire et main  tenue pressée sur celle-ci par des vis 4. Dans  des creusures de la paroi du corps principal  1 sont logés deux compartiments auxiliaires  5 pouvant se tirer hors des creusures en en  levant la poignée la plus rapprochée     desdits          compartiments,    destinés à. contenir des mé  dicaments ou des parfums par exemple.

   Ces  compartiments     auxiliaires    5 sont munis d'ori  fices     fermés    par des billes 6, soumises à  l'action d'un ressort 7, suffisamment faible  pour permettre     auxdites    billes d'être repous  sées lors du massage, de façon à     ouvrir    mo  mentanément les     orifices    correspondants. A  chacune des extrémités de l'appareil sont  placés deux dispositifs établissant une liai  son élastique entre les poignées 8 et le corps  principal 1.

   Ces dispositifs sont établis  comme suit: sur l'axe 11 de la poignée 8 est  fixée une pièce cylindrique 10 sur la. sur  face latérale de laquelle sont fixées des la  melles métalliques 13 formant ressort; cette      pièce 10 peut se déplacer perpendiculaire  ment à. son axe suivant les deux bases d'une  pièce cylindrique 9 rendue solidaire du corps  principal 1 par une tige filetée 12. Les la  melles métalliques 13 de forme appropriée,  pourraient également se fixer sur la face la  térale intérieure de la pièce cylindrique 9.  



  Le fonctionnement de l'appareil est le  suivant:  Après avoir rempli les     compartiments     auxiliaires avec des médicaments, parfums  ou toutes autres matières appropriées, on  promène l'appareil chauffé par la source de  chaleur, telle que de l'eau chaude, par  exemple, contenue dans le     compartiment    -2,  sur la partie du corps à masser; la matière  contenue dans les     compartiments    auxiliaires  peut en sortir, les billes étant repoussées par  la pression de l'appareil et libérant ainsi les  orifices correspondants.  



  Il est     évident    que sans sortir du cadre de  l'invention, on peut établir un autre dispo  sitif de liaison élastique, par exemple placer  les lamelles élastiques dans le corps même  de la poignée ou bien remplacer les lamelles  élastiques fixées sur la surface latérale de la  pièce cylindrique 10 par une rondelle en  caoutchouc remplissant l'espace compris  entre ces pièces cylindriques 9 et 10.  



  D'autre part, les     compartiments    auxi  liaires au lieu d'être placés à. l'intérieur de  l'encombrement du corps principal peuvent  se trouver à     l'extérieur    de celui-ci.
