Les quatre faces 1, 2, 3, 4 du meuble sont constituées identiquement par deux piè ces 5, 6 articulées l'une à l'autre sur un axe 7 et articulées chacune respectivement aux pieds 8, 9. Sur ces pieds s'articulent chacun par leurs extrémités deux tirants 11, 12, ar ticulés entre eux en 13.
Les pièces 5 et 6 sont réunies l'une à l'autre comme le montre la fig. 1, de façon ,1. ne pas pouvoir s'abaisser davantage que dans la position d'utilisation.
La, surface supérieure @du meuble est constituée par des lames rigides 20, dont les bords extrêmes pénètrent, avec suffisam- ment de jeu, -dans des rainures intérieures longitudinales des pièces 5, 6. Des encoches 29 facilitent d'ailleurs le placement et -l'en lèvement des lames, par glissement. Ces la mes sont réunies par des liens souples 21, ce qui permet d'en faire une sorte de rou leau, pour le transport.
En 24 est disposée une pièce de butée articulée sur l'axe 7 et se terminant à sa par tie inférieure par une fourche passant de chaque côté des tirants 11, 12.
Excepté pour les lames 20, en bois, la construction est entièrement métallique,. en particulier les pieds sont des fers d'angle comme il est bien vu sur la fig. 2. Les ti rants 11, 12 sont des fers plats.
En 15 et 16 les axes d'articulation so lidaires des tirants portent chacun une tête 14, s'appuyant contre les bords d'une cou lisse 17 ménagée dans le pied correspondant; mais si l'on tourne cette tête @de 90 degrés, elle peut alors être dégagée de la cou lisse et ainsi les axes d'articulation en 1.5 et 16- peuvent être @dégagés par légère flexion des pieds et des tirants. Cette opé ration étant faite pour les quatre faces 1 à 4, et les lames 20 enlevées, on peut ensuite rapprocher les quatre pieds 8 et 9 les uns des autres, les organes prenant la position repliée; ils se présentent ainsi sous une forme de petit volume favorable au transport.
On a représenté en traits interrompus, fi. 1, la, position repliée des pieds 8, 9 et des' piè ces 5 et 6 de la face 1, venus en 81, 91, 51' 61.
En dessous ide la lame 20 du milieu, on peut disposer une tige 28 rigide qui, por tée par un axe 25, est recourbée à ses extré mités pour s'accrocher à des .anneaux 26 portés chacun par un des axes 7. Cette tige 28 maintient l'écartement entre les deux faces 1 et 3 du meuble. Lors du repliement de celui-ci, il est facile d'amener la. tige 28 parallèlement aux grands côtés de la lame. t1 chaque extrémité de cette dernière peut être fixée une pièce cintrée, fig. 3 et 4, des tinée à venir recouvrir le joint de pièces 5, 6, pour les maintenir en ligne droite.
Suivant ces dimensions, le meuble peut servir de table ou de siège.
Un tel siège peut être utilisé pour former un traîneau à l'aide de skis, les pattes 22 se fixant ,à l'un des skis, les pattes 23 à l'autre. Des entretoises peuvent d'ailleurs être disposées pour lier les skis l'un à l'au tre rigidement.

The four sides 1, 2, 3, 4 of the cabinet are identically constituted by two parts 5, 6 articulated to each other on an axis 7 and each articulated respectively to the feet 8, 9. On these feet s 'each articulate by their ends two tie rods 11, 12, hinged together at 13.
The parts 5 and 6 are joined together as shown in fig. 1, so, 1. not be able to lower itself further than in the position of use.
The upper surface of the cabinet is formed by rigid blades 20, the end edges of which penetrate, with sufficient play, into the longitudinal interior grooves of the pieces 5, 6. Notches 29 also facilitate placement and -the removal of the blades, by sliding. These mes are joined by flexible links 21, which makes it possible to make a sort of roll for transport.
At 24 is arranged a stop piece articulated on the axis 7 and ending at its lower part with a fork passing on each side of the tie rods 11, 12.
Except for 20 blades, made of wood, the construction is entirely metallic. in particular the feet are angle irons as seen in fig. 2. Ties 11, 12 are flat bars.
At 15 and 16 the joint axes of the tie rods each carry a head 14, resting against the edges of a smooth neck 17 formed in the corresponding foot; but if one turns this head @ 90 degrees, it can then be released from the smooth neck and thus the articulation axes in 1.5 and 16- can be @ released by slight bending of the feet and the tie rods. This operation being carried out for the four faces 1 to 4, and the blades 20 removed, the four feet 8 and 9 can then be brought together, the members taking the folded position; they are thus presented in a form of small volume favorable to transport.
There is a dotted line, fi. 1, the, folded position of the feet 8, 9 and 'pieces 5 and 6 of the face 1, come at 81, 91, 51' 61.
Below ide the blade 20 in the middle, one can have a rigid rod 28 which, carried by a pin 25, is curved at its ends to hang on to rings 26 each carried by one of the pins 7. This rod 28 maintains the distance between the two faces 1 and 3 of the cabinet. When folding it, it is easy to bring the. rod 28 parallel to the long sides of the blade. t1 each end of the latter can be fixed with a curved piece, fig. 3 and 4, of the tinée to come cover the joint of parts 5, 6, to keep them in a straight line.
Depending on these dimensions, the piece of furniture can serve as a table or a seat.
Such a seat can be used to form a sled with the aid of skis, the legs 22 being fixed to one of the skis, the legs 23 to the other. Spacers can moreover be arranged to link the skis to one another rigidly.
