Akustische Vorrichtung.
Acoustic device. The present invention relates to an acoustic device with a rigid plate, a bendable membrane in front of the same and a chamber, one wall of which is formed by the said membrane, and an air duct containing a flexible wall leading to the outside from this chamber, to equalize the pressure within the chamber with respect to the free atmosphere without displacement of the flexible wall.
The pressure equalization line formed from the chamber and air line is now designed in such a way that it is impermeable to the frequency of speech and music waves, for the purpose of preventing the entry of such waves through the pressure equalization line to the flexible membrane during propagation slow pressure fluctuations for the purpose of pressure equalization through the same is possible.
In such devices, the fluctuations in the atmospheric pressure can not be transmitted through the pressure equalization line to the membrane, and these are therefore only actuated by the sound waves impinging on its front side if the device serves as a recording device, while the line still always works as a pressure equalization.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing using a so-called capacitor transmitter.
Fig. 1 shows the: transmitter from the side see ge, partially in section; Figures 2 and 3 show details of the transmitter.
The membrane 5 of the transmitter shown lies between two thin rings 6 made of duraluminium, which are pressed by means of a ring 7 and an annular nut 8 against a shoulder of an annular frame 4 which contains the parts of the transmitter. The ring nut 8 is screwed into the frame 4. For tensioning .the membrane 5, a ring nut 9, which is also screwed into the frame 4, is provided.
A plate is arranged inside the ring 10, one end of which rests on the membrane 5, while the other end is clamped in the frame 4 by means of a ring nut 11. This plate consists of a central part 12 provided with grooves 32 and bores 33 and an outer ring 13 which is pressed onto part 12 and closes off the outer ends of the grooves 32. The ring 10 is separated from the plate by an insulating, annular base 14. To hold the plate in place, a ring nut 15 is used, which presses a ring-shaped base 16, which in turn is iso liert by an insulating ring 17 from the plate, against the plate.
A layer of fabric 18, preferably made of silk, covers the bores in the plate and thus prevents dust from penetrating between the membrane 5 and the plate during the assembly of the transmitter. A chamber <B> 19 </B> behind the plate is closed off by a thin metal plate 20, which has an opening 21 covered by a layer of fabric 22 in the middle. The piece of fabric 2 is held in place by means of a plate 23.
Between the plate 2 (? And a plate-shaped disc 25 a flexible membrane 24 is clamped by means of an annular nut 26. This annular nut 26 is screwed into a thread on the rear of the part 1-2. For connection The line to the plate is provided with a clamping screw 7. In order to make the entire device gas-tight, a sealing layer 30 is provided. The edge of the membrane 24 is also provided with a sealing agent prior to assembly coated.
An insulating plate 29, which is connected to the ring 26, covers the insulated parts.
Before the plate 29 is placed, the air behind the membrane 5 is pumped out through the opening 31 in the parts 12 and 13, whereupon a chemically inert gas, for example 'nitrogen, is introduced into the empty space and the opening 31 is closed.
As can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, the grooves in the plate are arranged in the form of a grid and are perpendicular to each other, with bores 33 being provided at the crossing points. These bores ve, - run conically in order to prevent resonance effects. For the same purpose, the ends of the grooves are closed by the ring 13 from.
The diaphragm 24 serves, without having to be adjusted, to equalize the pressure in the chamber 19 with respect to the pressure of the free atmosphere in order to vjrl, inderia, vibrations of the diaphragm 5 due to changes in the atmospheric pressure. The air line behind the membrane 24 is not closed directly abge against the atmosphere, but is in communication with her. The gas exchange between the chamber containing the membrane 24 and the chamber 19 can only take place through the opening 21 and in the longitudinal direction through the piece of material 22.
Waves of speaking and listening frequency are therefore not transmitted from the chamber 19 to the membrane 24, while the gas can slowly overflow from one chamber into the other for pressure equalization. The air line and chamber together form a pressure equalization line.
